YES, it really, really works. Even skin tone, supple skin, nice healthy glow in the first 2 or 3 days. I have normal acne prone skin, with dark spots from shaving on my chin. The oil cleansing method has eliminated the acne and faded the dark spots. I also have a tendency to get dark circles under my eyes, not since I started the oil cleanse. I use 1/3 castor oil, 2/3 extra-virgin olive oil.
Yes, I use a,hot towel hold it there until it cools three times and Then repeat, oil and hot towels again. I used to exfoliate with honey and brown sugar scrub once a week but haven't in a while. Now, I rinse with ice cold water, hot towel again and finish with aloe Vera gel. Nice healthy glow people usually double take me at least once every trip outside.
Alecksa Dupont Actually it does hehehe I noticed that the little hairs on my face (my girly-stache or peach fuss) had grown considerably. They were mor pronounced than before after I started using castor oil and coconut oil! Coconut oil alone is ok though.
omg you have the most beautiful skin. I agree the olive oil gives the skin elasticity and tone, plus makes it nice and plump in a very natural gentle way
exactly that's the point.as she is talking about skin care u should focus on skin care not her head.i don't get u people why r u blaming her bcuz she is covering her hair.she can do whatever she wants.u have no rights to scold her
bcz in islam we should cover our hair from men and that our religion say and every one free in his or her religion. .she put hijab and give advice so the hijab not intrfere with her job😊
Mady Guindin because its hypocritical to wear makeup and follow their "Allah". There are no moderate muslims. Her own people criticize her or worse probably threaten her. These people dont want to assimilate into western society. Talk about an oppressive & regressive culture. Good luk to London, Germany, and Sweden
This Oil Cleansing method really does work. I started using it approx 2 weeks ago because of 'dry winter skin'. I not only got more supple skin, but my complexion began to even out. Who knew oils can be used to cleanse the face ?? Thank you for sharing 👍
I've started using this cleansing method using the oils about 3 days ago. I have to say alhumdulillah it is working. My skin looks much more refined, smooth and feels soooo soft! Thank you sooo much Amena. I've been looking for something like this for ages and have used all the high brands like eve lom..glad I've found a cheaper alternative! Thank you
Ladies, please remember the reason we wear the hijab, it is to please Allah(swt) our lord who wants the best for us and wants to protect us. The hijab is supposed to divert attention from the beauty, not to bring attention to it, so try to avoid excessively decorating it. We don’t need to show off our beauty to feel beautiful 💗 وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَىٰ جُيُوبِهِنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَائِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَائِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي أَخَوَاتِهِنَّ أَوْ نِسَائِهِنَّ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُنَّ أَوِ التَّابِعِينَ غَيْرِ أُولِي الْإِرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ أَوِ الطِّفْلِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَىٰ عَوْرَاتِ النِّسَاءِ وَلَا يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يُخْفِينَ مِن زِينَتِهِنَّ وَتُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُون *And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment [i.e., beauty] except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess [i.e., slaves], or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. i wash my face with any choice of cleanser, then i use the clinique step 2 exfoliator. 3rd step is to use the clinique face lotion. honestly ever since i started using that, my breakouts decreased by 90%, the only time i broke out was once. so its pretty good, loving it so far. thank you so much for sharing the wonderful oil technique. ur so sweet. :)
salam sister amena...I just want to thank you for showing us this amazing method, i started using it the day you posted the video, and though i had no caster oil at hand, i just used my rose oil and followed your instructions, and noticed that my skin looked softer already!! I can only pray that more noticeable improvements transpire in the next few weeks...I thank God (Alhmdulila!) for me stumbling upon this secret through your channel !! Good day :)
just a warning and i know you may not be using huge quantities but ladies who are trying to get pregnant or indeed are pregnant plz consult your GP before incorporating Castor oil in your daily routine or at least read about it. castor oil is amazing but one of its uses is starting labor by stimulating the uterus. so just be careful ladies.
oil cleansing method was the worst beauty routine I ever did in my life. Even I purchased super expensive organic oils, had the terrible breakout after using 10 days and it took 5 months to glow up again. It may fit some people but be aware of it.
Anna Bb It might be the type of oil that you're using that's not suitable for you. I have acne prone skin and i used olive oil (which turns out to be unsuitable for acne prone skin). My skin broke out just as often as i did before. Then, i started using grapeseed oil and it's been working well for me. This post helped me out in choosing the right oil for me. www.minimalistbeauty.com/oils-specifically-for-acne-prone-skin/ I hope it helps you as well :)
iamblurr Hello, since I have oily and acne prone skin, I used Grape seed oil with jojoba oil. I purchased them from Whole Foods.I guess it is not universal for everybody.
Anna Bb Have you tried to use jojoba alone or grapeseed alone to determine which is breaking you out or if both are breaking you out? By the way, hemp seed oil worked for me and I have acne prone skin.
blackbear52able No, I did not and I don't have slightest interest to using oil again. Therefore, I wrote this comment to warn it's not universal, just like other products. Apparently, it works for many people. It is great!
For anyone whose skin cannot handle silicone, try using Nivea cream. The ones that come in the classic blue tin. BUT. Use the ones that are made in Germany. Nivea creams have 3 formulas-German, Mexican and Thai. The ingredients are slightly different and I find the German formula best. Give it a go. I even use it under my eyes but sparingly.
I heard or read somewhere that castor oil supports anod encourages hair growth! If its true then using this ocm everyday with castor oil will be disastrous...we can substitute castor oil with grapeseed oil or jojoba oil (jojoba oil blends in REALLY well without that greasy feeling)
I have really bad eye circles as well. Before you go to bed, try mixing turmeric, gram flour, milk, lemon juice and tomato juice to make a paste and put some on your dark circles until it dries and then wash it off. It works for me, but you have to keep reapplying it daily.
I've been doing OCM for a few weeks. I've had terrible breakouts lately and I can definitely see a difference! I was skeptical, but now I'm a believer!
So I've noticed that when I take my krill oil and primrose seed oil my face will clear up some. So I thought, why don't I just clean my face with oil, since like dissolves like (chem class) ...did research and lo and behold, it is a thing, people do use oil to clean their face. I made my concoction of 25% castor oil, 25% argan, 25% jojoba, and 25% almond seed oil. I clean my face with the clarisonic brush, and my face felt radiant!! Im 30yr old mom, and I still broke out and was starting to get the cystic acne. This is the best thing ever!! I got everything from Vitamin Shoppe, even the dropper bottle it wasn't expensive at all. Way less then Proactive. Young people, don't knock it till you try it! And it also helps if you take an oil supplement, do your research! Knowledge is power.
I am using two types of cleanser but the most important thing - i spray the flower acid lotion on my face - works amazing to clean the pores and refresh the face!
Great video. It is nice to see women using natural products instead over the counter products that has a lot of bad stuff. Keep pushing those video. Oh quess what your video was so good. I subscribed. Keep pushing those healthy videos.
My best skincare tips are the following: Morning - I wash my face with warm water as soon as I get up, I add st ives sensitive skin gentle apricot scrub I let it sit on my face for a minute, but I only add the scrub in circular motions I rinse out with hot water. After I have added scrub on my face I use st ives micro dermabrasion I rub it into my skin Evening - I add rose water on my face I relax my face and leave the rose water to be absorbed depending on my skin I would add bio oil.
I have used (first coconut oil then later) avocado oil for about a year now because I have quite dry skin. My sideburns have actually grown. Like really, it happened. Now I avoid the sideburn area. My eyelashes are a little longer too and it's especially good for your eyebrows! My advise is to avoid any hairy areas on your face, like sideburns or upper lip or even your chin
Veerle W :( I wish I would have read this before buying a whole large bottle of castor oil. Wait, were you talking about the avocado oil or castor oil?
Try avoiding the mustache area and between the eyebrows if you want to be sure. And like only use it on places where you don't have hair growth on your face. Hope this helps
hello there..eggs are also good for the skin:) egg whites can be used to remove dead skin cells, impurities and such while the egg yolk makes a good moisturiser. if there isn't any eggs, use lemons as a substitute!
Thank you so much for this advice. It is refreshing to see someone who genuinely wants to help people not just promote the selling of things. I see so many beauty gurus who use so many products on their young faces and you wonder how are they going to look 10 or 20 years down the road. Again thank you so much and I look forward to trying this method. Wishing you many blessings!
Assalamu alaikum sister Amena, I actually started using the oil cleaning method about 6 months ago and will never go back to "traditional" cleansers. I use a mix of olive, castor and camellia oil (you could possibly use jojoba as well). Added to my mix: a few drops of essential tea tree oil (antiseptic) and lavender oil (I love the smell). I sometimes mist my face with a mix of: distilled water, witch hazel, tea tree oil and lavender essential oils - this acts as a toner. It's cheap too!
Let me say I have tried every skincare method out there. Pretty much every brand and system there is. Oil cleansing has healed my skin. I never thought it would be possible to have such good skin. I can’t remember the last time I had skin like this, I don’t remember my skin ever being this good EVER. But let me tell you what changed the game for me. Adding a emulsifier (I use polysorbate 80) you add it 20% to the oil mix and it allows the oil to wash off with water and not leave too much of a residue on the skin which was making my skin worse. I use jojoba oil and castor oil because I have oily acne prone skin. Also at all times I put jojoba oil on my skin, it keeps it smooth and glowing
It is our practice in India, which we do every Saturday for the whole body.. What it basically does is - The oil mixes dissolves the toxins when applied to skin and for best results use Sesame oil, it is the best for that purpose and leave it for at least 15 mins and you have to scrub off the oil dissolved with all the dirt and toxins.. If possible apply ice cubes of aloe vera and green tea, the ice closes the pores, the green tea and aloe acts as a moisturizer and anti bacterial, antifungal
My best skincare tip: rice water! Being a South East Asian, I eat white rice almost everyday. Before boiling the rice, of course we have to wash the rice first. The rice water from the first wash actually makes a great toner (don't waste it). I like to rinse my face with rice water after cleaning my face with face wash. Works like magic.
I would say one face mask that I have seen working time and time again for all skin types as a general use is the turmeric one. The mixture simply contains turmeric water and some honey and u apply it all over the face for about 12 minutes, then follow up with an almond oil face massage.. It's incredibly soothing and great for a spa night in with the friends. The effects can be seen almost instantly as the skin looks brighter and a lot more clearer. :)
what i use is 2 tbsp bason, 1tbsp turmeric powder (haldi), 1 tsp honey and add milk until a paste is made. And this quantity will keep upto 4-6 days stored in the refrigerator... it cleans your skin and keeps it beautiful.... btw this can be used everyday (once a day)
+liana calista people who are dry can use it as well. you don't need to use caster oil which is the oil that pulls oil from your face. people who have drier skin should use most moisturizing oils like Olive Oil, Sunflower Oil, Avocado Oil or Rosehip Oil- with only a small amount of Caster Oil. Or none at all.
But the traditional oil cleansing method contain castor and another carier oil. If you have dry skin, you simply reduce the amount of caster oil and increase the amount of the another oil. Castor oil really cleans your face. It wil sink down to your face and pull out all the dirt and excess oil from your face and lots of other benefits. Overall I recommend you to give castor oil another chance :) (Sr for my shitty grammar )
olive oil to remove makeup with a wipe works really well! and removing your makeup each night is very important in having healthy skin....also drinking lots of water keeps the skin hydrated and it glows xxx
My best skin care tip is drinking lots of water it keeps your skin more hydrated than any thing but I love using Mary Kay's mosturizer. Love this video
My best skin care tip: hydration! Drinking lots of water really does wonders! Everything else I do just come secondary to this, but using a facial serum twice a day would be my next tip. It also helps hydrate skin.
Frensh Perfume. i use the same cleansing method but using coconut oil instead. works wonders i dont have blackheads as much as i used to, my skin is smooth and moisturized and even the skin tone has improved. i dont wash my face after this process. i leave it as it is cos oil itself works the magic. sometimes when my face feels dull or dry i would use oil to make it back to normal before important meetings or just when u need to go out and ur skin needs that extra boost. been using oil cleansing method for last 3 months.... definitely worth it. just make sure you buy 100 % raw, cold pressed virgin coconut oil so it has kept all its natural healing properties. good luck! X
My best skin care tip is to always use a hypoallergenic moisturizer after washing your face with any type of cleanser and making sure that you are putting it on in winter or else your skin becomes very dry and chap. I find doing this really helps my skin glow and have a dewy look.
For my skin I use a mixture I made myself. It's fresh mint from my garden which I mash up and apply directly to my face in the morning.l leave it on for 2 minutes. I then wash off the mint mask and apply watermelon juice to tighten my skin. I get this directly from the fruit. Its all organic too.
Your videos are always inspiring (Y) I use the "pear soap" , it's a transparent soap that shrinks spots and makes my skin glow, but it does often leave my face a bit dry after washing it off (it has a drier feel to it than other soaps) so I always moisturize after :) x
THe oil cleansing method is amazing! However, be careful with the castor oil, as it makes hair thicker and more visible (yes, also on your face). Otherwise it is great for your hair. If you have thick hair, try to avoid putting it on the roots, as it will make your hair even thicker
I'm glad you mentioned olive oil means I been doing something right in my cleansing regime, I been using olive oil to clean my face for a year now, and I leave my face covered in thick layer of olive oil for many hours and the skin soaks in the olive oil and face feels plum, soft, even toned, and generally very well mashaallah. And there is another thing which I heave heard from our muslims mums group on facebook is about oil mouth wash and that has had some great reviews for healing.
Drink water regularly. Also I use Olive Oil, but most of the time I put on Vaseline on my face and let it sit for about 20 minutes, and then I would use a brush to rub all the dead skin cells off (sounds weird i know!) and it works fantastically on my chin, cheeks and lips.
Assalamu Alaikum Ameena! I have found that Chamomile-tea can be used to calm the face down. I let cotton pads soak up some concentrated hot chamomile-tea and squeeze the excess tea out and let it rest all over my face, even the eyes. It calms redness and irritated skin (it also smells soo good!). And also for spot treatment to acne, pure tea-tree oil is really good! Dab it on with a cotton swab on your spots just before bed and it will help in sha Allah!:)
Assalamu Alaikum, I'm 15 and have eczema, so it is very important I use the right type of method on my skin. As I am growing up, I wanted to look cleansed as I can, so once a week I boil water and empty out a green tea teabag in it and just put my head over it whilst covered by a towel, after that I wash my face with clean warm water thereafter moisturise with Body Shop's Body butter.... Alhamdulillah it's awesome!! Another thing i do is mix sugar, honey and a little bit of lemon into a paste
My best skin care is mashed potato with little bit milk and it must be kept for 20 mins at least. The other one is sandalwood mixed with rose water, you keep it for about 15 mins then rise with water :) x
I found that almond oil or peach kernel oil or apricot oil mixed with castor oil work wonders for my difficult skin. Brilliant stuff. I used to use Liz Earle which is great but this homemade oil cleanser is the absolute best along with a hot damp microfibre cloth.
My best skincare tip is to drink lots of water, especially first thing in the morning (with a tsp of pure honey). I also recommend exfoliating once a week, moisturizing and using rose water as a setting spray for make-up or even just after cleansing your face. :)
hiya, try steaming after cleansing & exfoliation, your skin will thank you for it. Apply oil or serum to hydrate skin after & you will notice difference within a month x
My best skin care tip is to always keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water! i also use st ives fresh skin and also st ives blemish free which are both freat facial scrubs and clean your skin A to Z ! i would really reccomend it as it leaves your skin SOFT and CLEAN! i also use either nivea or vaseline cocoa butter moisturiser
what i do is half a cup Olive oil quarter cup natural honey quarter cup sugar 1T rose water 1T orange blossom water that makes the best all over moisturizing scrub for dry skin and the honey has antibacterial properties to help with blemishes
Asalam walekum sisters. I use a sugar scrub on my face everyother day. I make it by squeezing lemon juice into 1/4 c sugar or untill a paste is acheaved. I then add olive oil for moisture. The suger exfoliates, the lemon brightens, and the oil leaves the skin so soft
I have two : 1.) Crack a egg open seperating the egg yolk and white. Then just put that on your face until it dries. 2.) Jello. Get milk and hello and great out up for 15 seconds and apply to your face
this is a great tip ! gonna try it soon ! one tip i just love is my feet r very dry and praying makes a certain dry spot on ur feet ,on the side, that does not look good if u want to wear fancy stilletoes so after a hot shower or bath buff ur feet ,then slather vaseline mixed with almond oil or sweet almond oil and lemon juice ,mix well in the small jar of vaseline and smooth it onto ur feet and wear bed socks or cotton socks to bed and that dry patch will go away in just 1 week ! T&T'd by me!
Extra virgin olive oil is much better too and shud be kept in a dark green bottle as the light breaks down or lessens its skin perfecting properties ^_^ never heard of the caster oil will try it out In Sha Allah.
salam alikum thanks for the video sister , as a moroccan i use a great composition : Dove(the soap)+ red powder (that i get from morocco it s very famous there) + white Ghassoul+rose water, what i do is that i grated the soap i add a pinch of the red powder and a tp of the white ghassoul and a bit of rose water i dont mixte it i just leave for a whole night it s going to be mixte by itself. i leave in my face for 15min then i wash it and after i use argan oil it s very good
I am not consistent in doing anything, but I tried olive oil and saffron for few weeks and my face was glowing like never before. I saw the results within few days. Only neg. side of this is you have to put the mask on for few hours or overnight.
I use a generic cleanser, but I wash my face using an exfoliation pad from Sephora. They're little green plastic pads with bristle-like bumps all over that help to shulff off dead skin. They're only 4,95€ and well worth it.
thanks for this tip! im always looking for natural skin care ideas. My tip is to use a food processor to blend cucumbers into a facial srub consistancy. it leaves a radiant look instantly. i apply it onto my face and gently exfoliate. i leav it on my face for 5 minutes then wash it off. Then to moisterise i add a drop of tea tree essential oil to my everyday moisteriser. This really clears my skin and evens the tone :)
I have really dry skin around my nose. At night I heavily moisturise my face with the body shop vitamin E night cream. My face feels super soft in the morning. I also use the night cream as a day to day moisturiser. Makes a great primer for foundation too. :) xx
Assalamualaikum. I use something traditional what we use for some dishes as well. Its called HALDI powder. U can find it at any indian shops etc. It looks like a yellow stone. U have to scrub that with just a little bit of water on a real hand size stone for example. Then mix the scrubed Haldi with yoghurt OR with Milk and apply that all over ur skin. It is used by loads of people in SriLanka/India etc. & works really good against black marks and u even get rid of annoying hair on ur face :)))
Asalaamu alaikum sisters. I am also obsessed with oils. I use baby oil on my face during winter. Mustard seed oil is awsome for skin but it smells. Also every week I mix up a tablespoon of olive oil, mustard seed oil, castor oil & almond oil....warm in microwave & apply to my scalp & hair & leave on over night & my hair has grown so long so quickly & is so shiny & soft.
I have been using lush products for the last couple of weeks (fresh farmacy cleanser, herbalism exfoliator, tea tree water toner and vanishing cream moisturiser) and i have been loving it, my spots that might've been gigantic are almost inexistant, it is slowly healing my previos spot marks and my face is nowhere close to oily as much as it used to be before overall, I am really happy with it, elhamdulillah :)
Ice cubes help a lot as they are the one thing which cools down your face, relaxes your skin and if you have any breakouts then it lessens them down too (its cold but it works) :)
Assalaam Sister Amena and all Pearl Daisy's sisters:) My best skincare tip is using a mixture of honey and olive oil, mixed together, and applied to my face before taking my shower. After I finish my shower, I then wash my face with water only. Then, pat dry. It helps my skin, less acne-prone and perfect for sensitive skin. Assalaamualaikum ^^
Assalam alekom dear Amena! Hmm my best skincare tip must be African black soap. I do however love the Honey scrub which I use around 1-2 a week. 1 tbs honey 1 tbs sugar (or grinded sea salt) 1/2 tbs cool (boiled) water a little lemon juice is nice too. Mix and apply with light movements, leave on until you feel that the skin feels a bit tensed then rinse with warm water. The skin will feel like a baby butt :D I usually use honey with cinnamon but some may have allergic reactions to it. Salam!
My best skincare tip has to be E45 cream! It is amazing at keeping my skin moisturized and supple. I apply some every night, with vaseline on my lips and wake up to a lovely, soft fresh face!
My favourite beauty skin tip which has always worked for me is washing the face with "besan" , the chana daal flour, i dont know ehat you call it in english lol. I have tried it regularly in my teens and it worked wonders for me
I'll definitely try this since I'll save a lot from buying cleansers. I've been making a brown rice and green tea scrub and use it twice a week and I can see improvements in my skin where it has become less red and the skin is a lot smoother. After hearing you said The oil clensing method removes blackheads, I just have try this!! Thanks, Amena! :)
i like ur secret to the skin care, i ll definitely try it. What I use for my skin care is mostly aloe vera gel.i have lots planted in my house ;) it has so much of healing power and i m acne free because of that. Another thing i have tried is a mixture of honey and lemon. its actually amazing. cleanses the skin so nicely. other than that is obviously eating healthy and sleeping well :)
my best skin care tip: wash my face with Garnier cleanser . it can be use in 3 ways:a daily cleanser, a srub and also a purifying mask. And if i get some time i make myself egg white's mask . wash it and then i use egg yolk has a moisturiser . finally wash my face and feel really fresh and clean.
I'm definitely gonna try this, hope it works though cause my country's really, and I mean realllyyy humid. I'd say my best skincare tip is sleep, water and not touching your face. Everytime I neglect those or get stressed out a pimple will pop out without fail, otherwise its all good :)
I use 1/3 castor oil, 2/3 extra-virgin olive oil.
did you do how she said with the hot towel? also after awhile do you use deep clean or use an exfolient?
Yes, I use a,hot towel hold it there until it cools three times and Then repeat, oil and hot towels again. I used to exfoliate with honey and brown sugar scrub once a week but haven't in a while. Now, I rinse with ice cold water, hot towel again and finish with aloe Vera gel. Nice healthy glow people usually double take me at least once every trip outside.
Wow thanks for the info
thanks for the info , ill try it tomorrow
Do you also wash your face after it just the wash cloth
i can't tell you how much this saved my skin! i dont breakout anymore and my skin is clear again
People say it blocks pores Olive oil is highly comedogenic its confusing me
I don't get it... if castor oil makes your hair grow faster... when you put it on your face it won't make your facial hair grow like crazy??
Alecksa Dupont Actually it does hehehe I noticed that the little hairs on my face (my girly-stache or peach fuss) had grown considerably. They were mor pronounced than before after I started using castor oil and coconut oil! Coconut oil alone is ok though.
omg you have the most beautiful skin. I agree the olive oil gives the skin elasticity and tone, plus makes it nice and plump in a very natural gentle way
salam I don"t get why people bring up covering up your hair you talk about skin care not religion .So weird .
Exactly !
why don't you focus on her skin care tips

When I was fasting my skin got clearer.
Mine too! It was flawless but unfortunately now the dreaded spots are back :(
Sadia Miah Rodan & Fields michaelac.myrandf.com :-)
Mystical Vampire yes mine too
Mine did to and when I ended my fast I was hurt when my skin stopped improving😔
@@ipopmiahmiamiah4298
That's understandable, since fasting produces human growth hormone HGH.
This Oil Cleansing method really does work. I started using it approx 2 weeks ago because of 'dry winter skin'. I not only got more supple skin, but my complexion began to even out. Who knew oils can be used to cleanse the face ??
Thank you for sharing 👍
hi...
so we don't need to wash face with face wash after cleansing?
Best skin routine I have ever tried. My skin really improved in the space of 3 days. Really cool.
Really, do you highly recommend it?
+Nanny Xiong I really do. Its simple and your skin feels so good after you use it from day one.
+Amanda Kaburise Thanks you so much, I'll give it a try.
+Nanny Xiong Absolute pleasure. Let me know how you find it.
I have combination skin
I've started using this cleansing method using the oils about 3 days ago. I have to say alhumdulillah it is working. My skin looks much more refined, smooth and feels soooo soft! Thank you sooo much Amena. I've been looking for something like this for ages and have used all the high brands like eve lom..glad I've found a cheaper alternative! Thank you
SarahYoung981 salam. what oil did u use ?

*And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment [i.e., beauty] except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess [i.e., slaves], or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.*
Saheeh International (Surah An-Nur 24:31)
You can't force women to wear a hijab
i wash my face with any choice of cleanser, then i use the clinique step 2 exfoliator. 3rd step is to use the clinique face lotion. honestly ever since i started using that, my breakouts decreased by 90%, the only time i broke out was once. so its pretty good, loving it so far. thank you so much for sharing the wonderful oil technique. ur so sweet. :)
This woman is gorgeous
I agree and great personality.
salam sister amena...I just want to thank you for showing us this amazing method, i started using it the day you posted the video, and though i had no caster oil at hand, i just used my rose oil and followed your instructions, and noticed that my skin looked softer already!! I can only pray that more noticeable improvements transpire in the next few weeks...I thank God (Alhmdulila!) for me stumbling upon this secret through your channel !! Good day :)
just a warning and i know you may not be using huge quantities but ladies who are trying to get pregnant or indeed are pregnant plz consult your GP before incorporating Castor oil in your daily routine or at least read about it.
castor oil is amazing but one of its uses is starting labor by stimulating the uterus. so just be careful ladies.
lol its on your face your not eating it
your face consists of skin if you have not noticed lol which going to absorb the oil. but i guess you may not be familiar with the concept haha
I actually am sweetheart but the amount used isn't going to be enough to induce labor and it isn't doing the same thing as consuming it.
violettt1 wouldn't that be if your ingesting it, not applying topically?
Ive been using this myself after you posted it on facebook. I love it. my skin is dry and this makes it feel sooo soft its amazing.
oil cleansing method was the worst beauty routine I ever did in my life.
***** Since there isn't any research about it, we don't know but speculate.
Yup. Albanian olive oil is awesome. Not because I am from there but they still make it pure where as Italy and Greece make it for "exporting".
Yep, that's real!
My best skincare tips are the following:
Morning - I wash my face with warm water as soon as I get up, I add st ives sensitive skin gentle apricot scrub I let it sit on my face for a minute, but I only add the scrub in circular motions I rinse out with hot water. After I have added scrub on my face I use st ives micro dermabrasion I rub it into my skin
Evening - I add rose water on my face I relax my face and leave the rose water to be absorbed depending on my skin I would add bio oil.
Don't use st ives it ain't good
I am curious if you still use the oil mixture as your facial cleanser?
I have used (first coconut oil then later) avocado oil for about a year now because I have quite dry skin. My sideburns have actually grown. Like really, it happened. Now I avoid the sideburn area. My eyelashes are a little longer too and it's especially good for your eyebrows! My advise is to avoid any hairy areas on your face, like sideburns or upper lip or even your chin
Veerle W :( I wish I would have read this before buying a whole large bottle of castor oil. Wait, were you talking about the avocado oil or castor oil?
BIOL6895 Avocado oil, but I think it works the same with any oil
Won't the castor oil make the hair grow on your face..
I want to try this but I'm scared I will end up with a beard or something
Try avoiding the mustache area and between the eyebrows if you want to be sure. And like only use it on places where you don't have hair growth on your face. Hope this helps
hello there..eggs are also good for the skin:)
egg whites can be used to remove dead skin cells, impurities and such
while the egg yolk makes a good moisturiser.
if there isn't any eggs, use lemons as a substitute!
olivee oil breaks me out...coconut il and shea butter and argan oil works wonders on me
Thank you so much for this advice.
Can you PLEASE show us in video how you cleanse with this????
Assalamu alaikum sister Amena, I actually started using the oil cleaning method about 6 months ago and will never go back to "traditional" cleansers. I use a mix of olive, castor and camellia oil (you could possibly use jojoba as well). Added to my mix: a few drops of essential tea tree oil (antiseptic) and lavender oil (I love the smell). I sometimes mist my face with a mix of: distilled water, witch hazel, tea tree oil and lavender essential oils - this acts as a toner. It's cheap too!
Can you please make a video for saggin skin and wrinkles ????????
From my very long and hard experience with skin products, I can surely say that argan dzoraj, and coconut oil are the best EVER.
Wow, you have a lot of great energy! Could I use argan oil instead of olive oil?
yes! agran oil is nourishing just ensure its cold pressed organic no artifical filters chemicals.
This is actually my skin secret lol. It works!
Just found your channel.
I love your enthusiasm!
Works like magic.
keep it up amena lv u don't afraid from negative comments u looks gorgeous in hijab my sister I'm with u
I did that and its amazing! btw I really recommend adding a bit coconut oil as well! :)
what i use is 2 tbsp bason, 1tbsp turmeric powder (haldi), 1 tsp honey and add milk until a paste is made. And this quantity will keep upto 4-6 days stored in the refrigerator... it cleans your skin and keeps it beautiful.... btw this can be used everyday (once a day)
Castor oil only works for people who have oily faces. not recommanded for dry faces, cause it can makes your faces more dry..
Jessica Acker-Rickey oh. thanks for correcting me^^
But the traditional oil cleansing method contain castor and another carier oil. If you have dry skin, you simply reduce the amount of caster oil and increase the amount of the another oil. Castor oil really cleans your face. It wil sink down to your face and pull out all the dirt and excess oil from your face and lots of other benefits. Overall I recommend you to give castor oil another chance :)
(Sr for my shitty grammar )
Trương Đình Sơn totally agree
liana calista thank you for telling 😘😘😘😘
olive oil to remove makeup with a wipe works really well! and removing your makeup each night is very important in having healthy skin....also drinking lots of water keeps the skin hydrated and it glows xxx
don't know how I reached this video😂
but I love your energy
we need more Muslim youtubers to show people what Islam really means
#Respect.😏
Lil K
can't miss any chance to virtue signal
LOL is that a joke??
My best skin care tip is drinking lots of water it keeps your skin more hydrated than any thing but I love using Mary Kay's mosturizer. Love this video
Argan is very good for your skin and hair as well. Thank you Amena for the tip. May Allah bless you and your family.
My best skin care tip: hydration! Drinking lots of water really does wonders! Everything else I do just come secondary to this, but using a facial serum twice a day would be my next tip. It also helps hydrate skin.
You're so stunning masha'Allah! You inspire me every time I watch your videos. Just thought I'd let you know! JazakAllah :)
my best skincare tip is rose water as a toner, smells lovely too. also aloe-vera gel as a face mask.
I find doing this really helps my skin glow and have a dewy look.
why do ppl keep saying salaam it's supposed to be Assalamu warahmatullahi wabarakatu that's the correct way
For my skin I use a mixture I made myself. It's fresh mint from my garden which I mash up and apply directly to my face in the morning.l leave it on for 2 minutes. I then wash off the mint mask and apply watermelon juice to tighten my skin. I get this directly from the fruit. Its all organic too.
Your skin is very beautiful. I'm going to try this. Love your channel.
Your videos are always inspiring (Y)
I use the "pear soap" , it's a transparent soap that shrinks spots and makes my skin glow, but it does often leave my face a bit dry after washing it off (it has a drier feel to it than other soaps) so I always moisturize after :) x
Can u use it for laundry . What does it smell like ?
Why don't men have to wear a hoojab?
***** But men can show their hair?
***** Seems unfair to me...
***** I'm glad I'm an atheist. Why should I cover myself up?
A lot of people disagree on this but we follow it anyways after all it is what Allah ordered of us wether we like it or not
+Joud Hassan what's the point of covering your hair if you wear tons of make up on your face?
Assalamu Alaikum,
I'm 15 and have eczema, so it is very important I use the right type of method on my skin.
Extra virgin olive oil is much better too and shud be kept in a dark green bottle as the light breaks down or lessens its skin perfecting properties ^_^ never heard of the caster oil will try it out In Sha Allah.
salam alikum thanks for the video sister , as a moroccan i use a great composition : Dove(the soap)+ red powder (that i get from morocco it s very famous there) + white Ghassoul+rose water, what i do is that i grated the soap i add a pinch of the red powder and a tp of the white ghassoul and a bit of rose water i dont mixte it i just leave for a whole night it s going to be mixte by itself. i leave in my face for 15min then i wash it and after i use argan oil it s very good
Been doing this for ages. It is simply THE best thing you could ever do for your skin. An its all natural :)
Its actually works! Miraculously my skin cleared up quiete noticabely, Thanks to you!
Yogurt milk and honey is also a great facial. Leave it on for thirty min. Skin feels amazingly soft
I love people who talk fast like you!
I have been using lush products for the last couple of weeks (fresh farmacy cleanser, herbalism exfoliator, tea tree water toner and vanishing cream moisturiser) and i have been loving it, my spots that might've been gigantic are almost inexistant, it is slowly healing my previos spot marks and my face is nowhere close to oily as much as it used to be before
overall, I am really happy with it, elhamdulillah :)
Ice cubes help a lot as they are the one thing which cools down your face, relaxes your skin and if you have any breakouts then it lessens them down too (its cold but it works) :)
Assalaam Sister Amena and all Pearl Daisy's sisters:)
My best skincare tip is using a mixture of honey and olive oil, mixed together, and applied to my face before taking my shower.
1 tbs honey
1 tbs sugar (or grinded sea salt)
1/2 tbs cool (boiled) water
a little lemon juice is nice too.
Mix and apply with light movements, leave on until you feel that the skin feels a bit tensed then rinse with warm water. The skin will feel like a baby butt :D
I usually use honey with cinnamon but some may have allergic reactions to it.
Salam!
I use turmeric and honey mask twice weekly. Makes my skin glow and shrinks pimples.
My best skincare tip has to be E45 cream! It is amazing at keeping my skin moisturized and supple. I apply some every night, with vaseline on my lips and wake up to a lovely, soft fresh face!
I use ocm too, olive n castor for years now! Love it!!! The best! Especially taking out black heads!
What I use for my skin care is mostly aloe vera gel.i have lots planted in my house ;)
it has so much of healing power and i m acne free because of that.
Do you still use any facial wash or toner afterwards? Or is your skin regimen purely OCM? Thanks!
