I don't know who this lovely young woman is, but she is very professional! No unrelated chitchat, no giggling, no distractions; she gets right to the point, explains what she's doing and why, and offers helpful tips along the way. She's also demonstrating a timeless, classic look - nothing gimmicky, too trendy, or appropriate for only one age group. Very, very well done! 👍👍❤
I agree... However, I must be the only OLD lady watching, am I the only one distracted by "Respect" playing in the background? I had to turn the volume down very low to try and drown out Aretha. This young woman is good, though.
I tried this and randomly someone called me “so pretty” when I was at the market! What a boost, I needed that! Thank you for making me re-think my eye shadow routine! 💕
Lol this happened to me too! Barista complimented me once when I followed al the steps. I especially like doing the eyeshadow & mascara underneath the eyes the way she demonstrates- makes my eyes pop :)
1. put concealer around your eyes, you wanna move your eyes forward by lightening around them 2. put matte white / any light colored eyeshadow on your lids 3. apply neautral eyeshaodw on the crease , blend it vert well 4. apply natural eyeshadow under eye lids to mimic a shadow 5. with wet thin brush apply dark liner along lash line as close as possible 6. apply white mascara from roots to tips , 3 layers 7. take a volumizing mascara only on the tips of the lashes 8. draw a last lash updwards

I so rarely comment on makeup videos, even though I watch a *lot* of them. But you're one of the best makeup UA-camrs out there, and here's why: 1) You get right to the point. None of this nonsense about promo codes or daily revelations or anything like that. 2) You don't insist that people use specific products to recreate the looks. I think a lot of the younger people out there think that if they're not using this MAC shadow or this Sigma brush then they can't get the makeup correct. No! If all you can afford is Wet & Wild and ELF, then you can recreate the looks with whichever colors they offer that are similar to this video. 3) You really explain things well, and explain why you're doing them. So many makeup people talk about contouring, but don't explain it at all. You really understand lighting and shadows, and explain it to your audience. I've been wearing this look for my daytime makeup, and it looks great! It's very easy to recreate, and I feel it would work with any skin tone (I'm a bit darker than you, lol). Keep up the good work and I look forward to more videos from you.

I like how she doesn’t have a whole lot of fancy expensive products, she just uses what she has, and it works perfectly. You don’t need eyeliner if you get a brush wet and put it in eyeshadow! The only products she uses are super basic: concealer, eyeshadow, and mascara. Great video!

I thought she was a professional makeup artist with the controlled hand and application. This look takes skills in my humble opinion but her details and explanation are on point.
Fun fact: those bags she darkened under her eyes is called "aegyo-sal" in Korean, and is considered very cute. K pop stars frequently darken that area in a way exactly like in this video.
Omg the 'aegyosal' makeup is what people go for nowadays!! This woman has already been doing this before it was even a trend! Thanks to this video I now know how to enhance the bottom of my eye and easy to follow since I have similar features like the woman in the video. A LIFE SAVER!
Omg LOVE IT! This sets you apart from the MANY youtubers makeup tutorials. There's no doubt, if you continue to deliver like this and everyone will know you by name as the one girl who is quite different from everyone else. Im definitely going to try this and get back! As soon as I saw first 6.3 seconds of this, I subscribed. Keep these coming!
Aly Art i tried this exact look and I love it, especially for the upcoming hot Summer months here in New England. I'm not usually one to wear, let alone pull off such a natural look, as I'm not really that young anymore. But this really works for me! Instead of making my focal point my eyes (smokey/cat-like), I emphasized clarity and coverage of my skin coupled with the amazing look you brought us and a bright lipstick 💄. Today is my 2nd day in a row wearing it. Thanks again...
Yes, she's young. Yes, she already has miles of lids and space between her upper lashes and brows. But, she's right. These techniques do make your eyes look much larger than without makeup at all. The only thing I'd question is how the white lash primer is not seen when only the lash tips have black mascara applied. Even so, I will try that particular trick at home for myself. This is a great video from someone who understands light and shadow.
i dont think this is a white mascara, they used to sell this type of mascara that has 2 ends and one end has a white side which adds fibers to your lashes to extend them, im thinking thats what this is.
I love my eyes, I feel like they're my best feature. I found your video while searching on how to accentuate them with makeup while still having that natural look. So I used some of your tips and I actually got complemented on my makeup, especially my eyes. It made me so happy. Thank you so much for your wonderful video!
This is actually fucking genius, seriously. Very different from any other tips I have seen on how to "cheat" bigger or wider eyes, and I even have seen how the hardcore Japanese Gyaru Girls do it, by the white liner on waterline and extending the falsies and anything and everything else. But this is amazing, I love that it looks so nice and neutral and natural and not totally fake and still looks nice up close. Also it makes a HUGE difference! Especially the mascara trick, and at first I was like "what? wouldn't that just look weird?" But you are right it works.
dani c - The mascara trick involved using an uncolored mascara base, which is just mascara made the same, up to but excluding the point where the coloring - black, brown, dark blue, green, etc. - Is added in. It used to be easily found in any HBA department of any store, but for some reason, seems to have disappeared from most store shelves. It worked nicely, and was easy to do. I have very very pale, almost invisible, but long lashes, and it let me add in thickness without glopping on the black part until I had "spider legs" for lashes!
Agreed! It looks stunning, the results are shocking - not only because of the difference in perceived size, but also because of the delicate, natural look she has achieved! Previously, I've only ever seen women do this with tons of makeup and it looks terrible on me; I'm going to try it!
Tips 1. Concealer 2. Matt white eyeshadow 3. Neutral colour in crease 4. Natural eyeshadow under eye 5. Brown eyeliner 6. Mascara primer 7. Mascara 8. Draw your outer lash with eyeliner
I could listen to you say "it's matte. And it's GORGEOUS" over and over and over again. Your voice is soothing, professional, and easy to listen to. THank you!
Even though this is an old video it’s still relevant, absolutely informative and amazing. Thank you for teaching actual techniques and not just selling products to your viewers! You truly make quality content!
this is seriously out of the box great ideas! like, i want unconventional tips like this, i will definitely take what i've learned from here and use it.
Ok so this is hands down one of the best tutorials for this kind of makeup out there. It's simple, comprehensible, easy and hits the target straight. Why the video doesn't have over a million views is beyond me. Excellent job! Thank you!
I wish more women were as effective as Aly at demonstrating makeup techniques. She is truly lovely to learn from. Very straightforward but graceful at the same time! Can’t wait to try these techniques!
I think you could wear a trash bag and be drop dead gorgeous.. its ridiculous how beautiful you are!! I LOVE that you don't talk about codes and products for 15 minutes and beg us to " like " every single social media account you have ❤
I really love the way she explains the purpose of makeup, about enhancing things, and playing with what you have, and creating a signature look, and not about having tons of makeup and doing instagram makeup that hides everything and making everyone look the same
you are my hero ! i cannot believe somebody other than me FINALLY understood to do the wing of their "liner" last to mimmic an outer lash !! THANK YOU !!!!! everyone thought i was crazy LOL.
I love this, thank you! I thought I heard every eye trick in the book but have never heard not to put mascara near the roots, can't wait to try that. Also, THANK YOU for not using 10 million different brushes, I'm sure anyone watching this video can relate lol
omg yes. I've been watching these makeup videos and I'm like have I not been putting make up properly this whole time cause I only own a blush brush and a foundation brush...
I agree.. most ppl from around the world doesn't have access to some brushes mentioned. Her artistic appeal is such an eye opener....er no pun intended
Aly, I just stumbled upon your channel while looking through my “regulars” makeup artists. I am thrilled to be introduce to your channel. You appear to be so young, but so mature in your presentations. You take your art seriously and it shows. I am looking forward to binge watching your videos. You have created a sense of renewal in this Ol’ Lady ( I am 66 years old). I hope, with a little practice of your techniques, that I can send you a pic of my best of the best(?), so you can see how these same techniques can work for us “Very” Beautiful Ladies, who refuse to age gracefully!
Of all the makeup tutorials I have seen for how to make eyes look fuller and larger, this is the best one. You provide simple techniques with practical explanations to understand for the steps. This is so effective and easy to replicate. Thank you! ❤
As someone who started makeup last year and improved a lot, here is my advice. So, I avoided makeup until my early 20s because I thought it makes me look terrible. I feel like a lot of people can relate to that feeling. When I first started, I did look bad because I was copying others, but as I started paying attention to my own features, I improved. Now I've become good enough that people ask me for makeup advice. All in one year. Don't give up. Anyone can become good at makeup. The secret is to figure out what works for your own features. Watch people with similar features and skin undertone as yours. If you don't look like Angelina Jollie, don't do your makeup like her. It might, or might not be the best style for you. The goal should not be to look like other people. The goal should be to look like the best version of yourself.
Thank you. You explain things in such a calm and serene way, that it's very refreshing to watch your videos. I can't believe the difference these techniques made with my close-set hooded eyes. My eyes are opened (so to speak) to the interaction of light and shadows, and light absorption vs reflection with make-up types. Coming from a scientific background myself, the way you describe these things in your videos just makes sense. I saw an advert that L'Oreal recently released a new mascara called Superstar with the white one one side and dark on the other. Keep it up, I learn so much with each one of your videos. :-)
She is right. You should do ASMR. Your voice is extremely soothing at this volume. Good job explaining something that can be extremely intimidating. Keep up the good work.
who is this amazing person? She speaks beautifully (and so is she) and gives clear instructions. I hope to look much younger after I follow her directions (ha!)

I finally understand where to put a wing and how! I could never get it right and gave up a long time ago. You are the best. Love your voice and accent.
Leaving a comment on a make up video for the first time in my life.. I don't really watch much make up videos to begin with and if I do, it is for entertainment and NOT with a desire to learn since I do super little to no make up... BUT... This video right here created an exception! Not only did I just subscribe to your channel but I'm even leaving a comment... Because you are SOOOO likeable and this looked like a real tutorial even to me! Well done sweet girl and yes you do also have an adorable accent! I'll check out your music also as I really enjoyed the background tune here.
Awesome tutorial! I always find it funny that so many make up tutorials tell us to completely erase the lines under our eyes when those are the lines that give us shape and character! Thank you for teaching me how to enhance my eye shape rather than conceal it!
Well Done!! I love seeing the more natural look & am SO over the constant overdone makeup everyone does! This is beautiful, enhances your natural beauty, makes people look more young & fresh. Awesome job! It's been a while since I've seen a makeup video that actually impresses me! You go girl!
I love the makeup look. It doesnt look complicated unlike the others I've been watching. Im planning on adopting this style bc it seems so minimal but very oomph. Thank you!
Lol, that's the first time I heard of a Russian accent making someone sound like a good person. Usually people say "haha, you sound like a movie villian!" Aaanyway, if she sounds like a nice person, it's probably because she's speaking calmly, and maybe because she actually is a nice person, who knows? :P
This girl knows how to make a video, you explained everything well, the music was nice and low, we could hear you over the music and I'll have to give this a try, thank you and ur beautiful by the way ;)

what a beauty she is. love her voice. calm demeanour. just a sweetheart and so knowledgeable.
I agree...very lovely spirit💖
Sounds French reminds me of Lily Rose Depp ( looks too!!)
@@tiffanyroseangeles7517 she's Russian
Many people say that about Russian chicks.
Simp
Fun fact: those bags she darkened under her eyes is called "aegyo-sal" in Korean, and is considered very cute. K pop stars frequently darken that area in a way exactly like in this video.
I was waiting for someone to mention this!
Omg the 'aegyosal' makeup is what people go for nowadays!! This woman has already been doing this before it was even a trend! Thanks to this video I now know how to enhance the bottom of my eye and easy to follow since I have similar features like the woman in the video. A LIFE SAVER!
Your accent really calm me down
+Mega Gumelar Thank you very much ))) x x Happy 2016!
I was thinking how beautiful she sounds as she speaks💜
Wow, you are really good! I rarely find youtube tutorials useful but you showed some great new tips I haven't seen anywhere else.
Allyson C. Thank you so so much!!!! Ok I will!!! ))
Amazing!!! I'm so happy that worked! Thank you!!! x x x
Aly Art french accent? From France I'm guessing? I love it, it's very smooth and sexy...
x x x No I'm Russian. ) Thank you :)
You can use clear marscara
@@zoezzzarko1117 Oh, yes! That's a fantastic idea.
i dont think this is a white mascara, they used to sell this type of mascara that has 2 ends and one end has a white side which adds fibers to your lashes to extend them, im thinking thats what this is.
@@nothingtosee689 Yep. That's just a 2 in 1 lash primer and mascara.
The white mascara is a primer.

I love my eyes, I feel like they're my best feature. I found your video while searching on how to accentuate them with makeup while still having that natural look. So I used some of your tips and I actually got complemented on my makeup, especially my eyes. It made me so happy. Thank you so much for your wonderful video!
Literally the BEST tutorial I've ever watched for big eyes. I'll definitely be trying your techniques. Thank you SO much!
This is one of the best makeup tutorials on UA-cam !!!!
Tips
1. Concealer
2. Matt white eyeshadow
3. Neutral colour in crease
4. Natural eyeshadow under eye
5. Brown eyeliner
6. Mascara primer
7. Mascara
8. Draw your outer lash with eyeliner
Thanks Emily! Just what I needed!
Knew you were Russian straight away, I'm Russian too btw. Tnx for the tricks!
Анна Тубол Same hahah but I am German (моя мать русская поэтому я понимаю по-русски)
Shenny oh that's cool! I'm learning German
Анна Тубол oh is it difficult to learn?
Aubrey Danity I don't know, I just read in the description that she was Russian and that's it
Shenny well, not too difficult yet, I've only been learning it for half a year
I could listen to you say "it's matte.
+Zabel Connor thank you x x x
Ok so this is hands down one of the best tutorials for this kind of makeup out there. It's simple, comprehensible, easy and hits the target straight. Why the video doesn't have over a million views is beyond me. Excellent job! Thank you!
TheMrmi22 Thank you so so much for your words!!! x x x
Aly Art You're welcome! Just keep up the good work and make great videos like you're doing. We'll be watching more for your videos. All the best.
I LOVE that you don't talk about codes and products for 15 minutes and beg us to " like " every single social media account you have ❤
Right!
And so we 'like' it because we actually like it!
@@mackenziepeterson2200 ok
Lisa Spence 🤷♀️🤷♀️👍👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Easily the best make up tutorial. You don't rely on gimmicks and I love that.
Thank you so much ))
I really love the way she explains the purpose of makeup, about enhancing things, and playing with what you have, and creating a signature look, and not about having tons of makeup and doing instagram makeup that hides everything and making everyone look the same
Who else is watching this in nov 2020?
Hi
Meeee in lockdown number 2
Me! Haha
How did I get here🤣😂
Me too!
you are my hero ! i cannot believe somebody other than me FINALLY understood to do the wing of their "liner" last to mimmic an outer lash !! THANK YOU !!!!! everyone thought i was crazy LOL.
Thank you very much )))
Old Hollywood actresses did it too.
I love this, thank you! I thought I heard every eye trick in the book but have never heard not to put mascara near the roots, can't wait to try that. Also, THANK YOU for not using 10 million different brushes, I'm sure anyone watching this video can relate lol
I have noticed she used two only!
+Rasa Baumilaite It's almost too good to be true lol
Yeah she's cool ,,I am thankful for this mascara trick !😻😻😻😻
+Mary Mackintosh Have you tried Youniques Mascara? Ahhmazing results!

She is right. You should do ASMR. Your voice is extremely soothing at this volume. Good job explaining something that can be extremely intimidating. Keep up the good work.
other videos : how to remove bags

they do look a bit like bags, but it suits her.
it reminds me of the korean "aegyo-sal" look, which does not work for me at all, unless maybe i was just doing it wrong.

Silvia Foxworth yeah that’s the trend but it’s just hard to not blend them so much to the point the just look like dark eye bag shadows lol

The accent from Russians is much different .. I think she's the best speaking of all Russians haha
This is such a soft and pretty look for eyes and yet it makes them so expressive! I loved your explanations of why you were doing everything too.
This young lady knows how to truly explain her tips and tricks. Having such a beautiful canvas to work must help, but these tips and tricks also work for those of us not so fortunate. Thank you.
I finally understand where to put a wing and how! I could never get it right and gave up a long time ago. You are the best. Love your voice and accent.
what a beauty she is. love her voice. calm demeanour. just a sweetheart and so knowledgeable.
Holy moly, this is the BEST eyeshadow tutorial I've ever watched - outstanding!!
I want to give you several upvotes just because you didn't choose Top 40 pop songs as your background music.
@lala la - I just read the video info - it's HER singing an Aretha Franklin cover! She's a musician.
This 'tuber is amazing!! I'm definitely subbing.
I like how she addresses us older folks eyes as well as the youth thank you
Well Done!! I love seeing the more natural look & am SO over the constant overdone makeup everyone does! This is beautiful, enhances your natural beauty, makes people look more young & fresh. Awesome job! It's been a while since I've seen a makeup video that actually impresses me! You go girl!
I’m shook by how helpful all of her videos that I’ve been recommended are.
That's the coolest make up tutorial I've ever watched! Natural and on a plain room, very straight forward, love it, thank you 🙏

Edith Sulub! Hi! Thank you very much for your words! I will upload my new video very soon!!
Her accent makes her sound like such a nice person lmao

Marvin Lee I felt exactly the same
She is from russia, thats why 👬
Lol, that's the first time I heard of a Russian accent making someone sound like a good person. Usually people say "haha, you sound like a movie villian!" Aaanyway, if she sounds like a nice person, it's probably because she's speaking calmly, and maybe because she actually is a nice person, who knows? :P
