Anyway, my friend now had the hemoglobin back to 12.
I am not exactly sure which single factor made it. She eat red meats and liver every day and I gv her supplements : omega3, vit A+d from cod liver oils, b complex, d3 + k2, iodine, copper, ferritin, lactoferin, magnesium, boron, kelp, sea mos, dried beef organ capsules, oregano oils, etc.

I have severe anaemia and recently went and bought an iron tonic. I've been to the hospital many times cause my blood was so low and they always prescribed iron and vitamin C for me. Recently my body has been craving meat and fish. And seeing this video just confirms my body is right. I won't take the iron tonic anymore and buy what I'm craving. Thanks, Dr. Berg!

So I'm taking 3 different iron supplements, as well as eating liver, lots of beef & other meat & a regular diet although trying to include alot of the healthy veggies, fruit etc. recommended by Doctor Berg. Before I started the supplements I was getting a bloody nose multiple times a week & had a super heavy menstruation. This is the 1st time I've been completely confused by Doc. Berg. I don't understand that either. Had a ferritin-level of 7 and felt terrible (tired, low energy, very long phases of regeneration). Started feeling better with iron supplements, my ferritin went up to 60. Unfortunately, my stomach doesn't like the supplement anymore, so I had to stop taking it and am back to 27 within 4 month - and I feel worse than with 60!
Every funktional doctor I heard talking about this topic ist telling you to keep your ferritin at around 100, especially with autoimmun conditions (which I have).
And now here we learn, ferritin near zero is best?! I know a lot of women, that had ferritin levels near zero due to heavy menstrual bleeding - they had fatique, hairloss, pale and dry skin.

@@Logica87I know, I'm very confused about this. My ferritin is a 3, and I definitely don't have optimal iron/rbc function. I have very small rbc and low energy, memory issues, pale skin. I get plenty of iron in my diet, but non-heme iron (ie plant-based iron / cast iron cooking) are a no-go, they give me heart palpitations. I have been doing better taking dessicated beef liver a couple days a week.

My surgeon told me to take iron sups and eat iron rich foods before having a hip replacement in '98. I did for a couple weeks and was still borderline anemic when I donated my 2 pints of blood for the surgery. I went thu surgery OK, but my in- hospital therapy was delayed for 2 days and I was given an IV bag of red blood cells to boost my cells because I was too weak to do anything. Next month, I'm getting my other hip replaced and I'm taking iron supps. I guess I can go off them once I get all healed in a couple months. But also, my platelet count was low (130) on my blood test in Oct., but perked back up into normal range (167) even before iron supps.
