Nice but, one thing I don't understand about flip fluid is why viscosity is a domain feature and not a feature of the single fluid, what if I want to to have liquids with different viscosity? what if I want to attribute different materials to the liquids?
how can i mix paint color, and just water shader ? it seems it can only use from the pallate color, not from bsdf shader. any how i could make this possible ?
I love this tutorial so much and I'm making a cool scene with it now where one of my little characters in my video gets Paint all over him with this can you make a tutorial on how I can make realistic wet maps with this to go with flip fluds... Especially how you did the colors this is so epic the next logical step is wet maps I would be like... 👋😀👋
I noticed this experimental build and tried using it but no matter what I did, I could not get the colors. I had everything but the attribute node. I'm such a noob. 5:40 there's my problem. LOL Thanks for clearing this up for me.
I would have used mixbox much earlier if I had known how easy it is to use! We make printers at work with CMYK so this plugin is totally something I can utilize. Great channel btw sub'd

Thank you so much Olav.I am really pleased with the result and not too many nodes which I dont get on with xx

For new users note you have to select all your keyframes in the timeline line before you set it to linear
You can also go to preferences animation and change it there xx
thanks for share! really help me out with this

So I just started with flip fluids and my fluids are spraying everywhere instead of what's being shown in the video. Not sure what's going on
is is posible to do something similar but with displacement and just simulate color mixing with the displacement movement ? like if it was paint?
I feel that the dynamics of color mixing is not real enough, when will blender's fluid be similar to reality?
I was waiting for your flip fluids tutorial thanks a lot and please make a few more tutorials with flip fluids addon.
Great tutorial as always
I'm curious if mantaflow can do this?
What a beauty⚡🧨
Awesome tutorial! thanks!
