I'm still a Blender noob and ran into the same problems - so if I humbly may for those who might run into the same area of problems: - When you were texture painting and it was showing up on the nose as well it's because the nose was (i think) a different object but shared the same material/image texuter as the body. You would've had to make a new image texture for the nose and then - When you're modelling with the mirror modifier you can 'apply' the modifier (and basically any modifier) which then makes it so that any changes you make afterwards won't be affected by the mirror modifier. - There's a Blender add-on called Rigify that comes with Blender and is free and it's an awesome way to 'rig' a character to post them for a scene. There's also Auto Rig Pro however it is a paid add-on.
You can also rig it yourself rather simply just using automatic weights if you look into it a bit. or paint your own weights so that the character doesn't deform in spots when you move certain bones
The most skilled blender user would never even claim to learn everything in blender in their life, nvm a week, I’ve been using blender for 3 years now and have learnt so little of what there is. Best program give to people online for free

This add on is a must have for every blender user it’s called power save it’s free you basically enable it before starting a project and if blender crashes, it auto saves
Hey there, that was fun. The reason for the paint going on the wrong places is due to the polygons sharing the same space on the UV map. An easy way to fix this is to go into edit mode select the whole mesh, press U then select Smart UV Unwrap. Hope you keep up your Blender journey, it's an awesome software

Haven't even watched the whole video yet, but as someone who has also been banging his head against the Blender concrete wall cheerfully for about two months now, deeply admire the spirit of this enterprise.
One thing I've found eases some frustration is just saving separate files very, very often so can revert when things inevitably go haywire on occasion.

I always get a chuckle out of these people that say they learn blender in X days. I've been using it for close to 4 years now and I've barely gotten Beyond learning how to default Cube delete.

Put them in front of me, and I don't know where to even begin. My biggest problem is that I learn something in a tutorial on Tues and have mostly forgotten how to do that process by Thurs.

There are so many of these "Learned Blender in a week" types of videos out there which actually meant to say, "Scratched the surface of 10% of Blender in a week."
As someone who uses Blender on a daily basis for my own work it is quite impressive what you accomplished in so little time. However one tip if you had to remake this would've been to use an animation rig i know its a weekly challenge but with a simple rig like what you were using blenders weight paint could make it easy to manipulate the two human characters in your last scene.

Hi, I have a question. Which Model of blender did you use? Blender 3.0, 4.0, and 4.3 are not working on my laptop. Also, whenever i open the other versions of blender, i don't see the cube. It's something that looks entirely different from a cube!

blender already autosaves every 2 mins
