I'd recommend her playing a ranged weapon. Makes it much easier as females tend to not have the best hand eye or reaction. At least my girl loves the bow and I fill in the melee void
The Bow and Light Bowgun are awesome. But melee is much more satisfying because it’s a lot harder to not get hurt. I like Sword and Shield,Dual Blades and Hammer
@@xizame839 look in the "high rank" tab and for the "defender" tree weapons (all the way up top and has no branching) it came included in onz of the content updates to "pity carry" folks up to high rank. alternatively....just play the game with whatever weapon and armor. it's all veto'd to the trash as soon as you hit high rank anyway

I personally got the iron sword before even watching this vid, but ill be honest i didnt realise about the armour, just went ahead and crafted great jaggi set and worked fine for me, fought up to great baggi so far, but think ill switch up to the supplied armour, not for armour advantage, but for the gathering bonus you mentioned, should speed early game up ALOT
This is a really cool starting tip! I wish I knew this when I started as not only was this my first Monster Hunter game it was my first non-Pokemon Switch game and let's just say I had some transition pains from PC to console. My muscle memory was all fucked up and needed to be relearned from scratch. I will keep this in mind if I decide to start a new save file for funsies.
Its honestly better that you don't do this, at least the armor. MH is a game about mastery, and the armor makes it so you can just face tank everything early on which gives you bad habits and leaves you in a real bad place once the monsters start hitting hard and you can't out gear it. By far the fastest way to blaze through the content is getting better at the game and stacking damage that the guild cross set doesn't provide.
@@Bacon-egg-cheese ehh don't worry about it. the guild cross armor only last about the end of LR. reaching HR should help the guy understand more the monster since the attacks are buffed.

There was an incident where some guy working for IGN ripped off one of his videos. Was a bad thing at the time, but I think quite a few people discovered the channel after that.
I would also add get 1 of the special palamutes and palicos from the buddy plaza because they are most of time better than what you start with also they are already level 6.

When I played Monster Hunter World with a friend that we play some games together for over 15 years, we get frustrated because the game obligates us to finish each quest alone that we want to play as a co-op, only after I finish a quest solo, I was able to play with my friend on co-op mode, if this game has this broke mechanic I will not buy this game. Can you tell me if I will be able to play with a friend in co-op mode without the need to finish each quest solo?
The only quests you can't play co-op are the ones that are impossible to play in co-op anyway (aka Village Quests). The Hub Quests have no such prerequisite to my knowledge.
It doesn't, if there is a cutscene you just have to watch it and then you can do the quest together, Rise as far as I remember doesn't have cutscenes mid quests so you will not face the same problem you did in World.
Agreed. Just got the game Friday night, made it to village 5 star, haven't carted once. Most damage I've taken is due to me getting greedy as opposed to monster related challenge.
Really bad advice with the armour for new players imo. Starting the game like that is going to make the game way harder later on because they won't be focusing as much on learning to get better at it because they will have been relying on tanking all the hits with their armour.
This is not going to be good for new players, once you do this everyone will do the same as when it came out on switch saying that there is no content in the game
People were saying the game had no content because it literally didn’t. All there were at the time were a couple shitty event quests with titles and stickers for rewards. Now that plenty interesting event quests have been added it doesn’t matter how fast you get through Low Rank AND Sunbreak is around the corner.

This is a perfect guide, short and sweet, full of good info, no fluff. Only gripe is that the armor info should have come first but its a small issue.
New added DLC adds Defender gear that blows these away.
Even easier and better: get the black belt S armour set which is free then get the defender weapons which only cost some bones which you get naturally

I played World and know exactly what your talky about. This game does not do that, you can play your very first Hub mission with friends very easily

Why use ore dualblades over bone ones, bone 2 does 110 damage, but the 2nd ore blades do 90 ?
