One of the funniest damn videos you've made! Love how this came out! That mix of painted and natural wood is money! The first vid inspired me to make my first project for the wife. Made a false wall to hold all her Cast Iron cookware. Red Oak panels stained a dark color and then milled my own trim and left it natural to case the whole thing in. Unbelievable what watching you guys has taught me in the last few months. THANK YOU!💪🏽❤

    For hanging cabinets
    1) Level a 2x4 underneath your cabinetry line, screw it to the wall.
    2) Tilt the cabinet up to the wall while resting it on the 2x4 and screw the cabinet in place.
    3) Remove the 2x4 and patch the screw holes.

loved it. only thing I can't unnotice is how the widths on either side of the window/door are different from cutting only one side. idk if making a cut on both sides to center everything disrupts something else (handle mechanisms ect.) but just felt my OCD flare up so had to mention it 😂

looks great, but noticed a slight gap in the door and the threshold. you may one to add the thin strip of door felt to insulate the small gap to keep the elements out.

The bottom storage compartment in the bench. I assume is for shoes, should be open, to air out the shoes instead of having a door. After a while it will start to smell. Most of the time, you will bring some kind of moisture or water on your shoes into the house.

  • @3literheater

  • @TheDesignerXD

Not for nothing, because yinz did great. But you might want to add a draft stopper to the bottom of that door. Looked like a bit of light coming through down there. Might save some on the electric bill if you're not heating the whole of PA. (every little bit helps, especially with a baby on the way)

As someone who tried to beat the baby with a workshop build... The baby will always win.
It was a great night to be in the shop - wife was out, baby was three weeks away which was lots of time to finish, insulation was in, and I was putting up the VB to start drywalling when I got the call. Baby was coming that night! Took another two months to complete and it was exhausting doing it with a newborn and having a full time job!
All that is to say good luck, and I hope your baby is NOT early!

Parental Guidance is suggested..........Those horizontal railings will make for perfect stairs to climb when she is 3 years old. Long way down from the top of the staircase.
However someday that will make for some awesome flying knee drops if you ever end up having 2 boys.
