the suspense!!!!!!
I love how this channel is "real". I like seeing the mistakes and real issues that come up with projects 👍👍👍
As a cabinet maker.
It’s really not hard to make a mistake like this. The slightest error in a cut list will cause a big issue. Been there. Glad you can capture this humour and share it with UA-cam 😂😂😂
If you REALLY are a "cabinet maker", it is difficult to be that STUPID.
Nothing funny or cute about HACKERY.
Master carpenter here in my 46th year of being in my trade.
This shit makes me want to puke as these people are the ones dragging MY trade into the toilet with them.
It was cool how you got BJ Novak to paint your cabinets. Such a sick cameo.
I just wanted to say that remember jordan is just beginning. And the great thing about this channel is that they show the process cannot be always easy. Making mistakes is part of gaining experience. Being young and starting something new. It’s going to take time. Plus John‘s channel is great about learning from those experiences. I don’t even do woodworking. I like the problem-solving in these videos. The entertainment value. The camaraderie. Remember this everyone, you can be mad at the situation not a person. It’s not the person. Please keep that in mind when you think about how they’re bringing content. We’re all human. Remember the Deeprak Chopra one said: “You’re a human being. Not a human doing.”
"you wanta be the first idiot, you wanta drive the ship" --- this got me xD
pretty dang refreshing to find talented craftsmen that don't take themselves too seriously. reminds me of my group!
man the pro cabinet bonurro guy was a real pro the movement in his work looked so valuable. I'm gonna trust the pros for any kitchen work I do in the future
Water based 2k is the best cabinet finishing option on the market these days. Renner or envirolak. Renner 643 primer and 688 topcoat. Most durable. Longest life. Love your channel!
Wow...the contrast of the paint & primer guy right next to Malecki really shows just how big John really is.
It's comforting to know you build things like I do with lots of mistakes that need saves.
Loving all the banter between you all! Keep up the awesome work!
I actually really like seeing all the little mistakes you make and then fix. I'm very new to woodworking and despite planning I often either overlook something or make small mistakes that I have to correct. Really nice knowing I'm not the only "idiot" and that mistakes happen at any level of ability.
Also the stuff you all build is fantastic!
I'm getting started myself and find that MISTAKES WILL HAPPEN! haha! Have a good one.
12:47 Anybody else think John was getting a call about his baby being born and was upset that it was happening at such an inconvenient time?
Ungrateful of her to not push the birth back two weeks, I mean how hard can it be.
I just wana give Jordan a big ole hug 🤗😢
Getting close to the wire, I don't know how you are keeping you cool John. Good luck with the project and prayers and blessings for a safe and healthy delivery.
I like this video, it reminds me of how a lot of my projects go. 😅
Love your channel. The comradery between you all is fantastic. wishing your wife and you all the best with the upcoming new baby. You and you crew Keep up the great work.
Just watched this with my newborn Daughter congrats on you little one.
Awesome reason for the suspense. Take care of family first, we'll all be here waiting for the reveal of the kitchen and the new addition to the family.
Sam: "Inside every tool is a hammer"
Rofl! I'm ded. XD
Watching my cabinets and waiting for it to go 💥 because I glued
Honestly I appreciate videos like these because these are the same issues I come across sometimes when building stuff.
Hey man, the cabinets look awesome so far. Well wishes for you and Mamma. The birth of a child is, literally, the most awesome experience.
Ha! You were 5 minutes from my house. My nephew works at Bonura, I installed a spiral staircase at Fetterman’s old house in Braddock 15 years ago. Hit me up if you need an actual finish carpenter with 25+ years experience for anything...
Looks great John! Good luck to your wife!!
Hope you get the project done in time.
Keep up the UA-cam grind
My boy is 4 now.. watching this brings me back to those days before he came. Don't worry it took me 8 months to finish a retaining wall in the back yard cause he interrupted! .. you'll get it done brother, hang in there.
That hurt my heart when Sam used the tape measure as a hammer.
Somehow the arrival of a new baby has turned this channel into "Real World in the Woodshop" :)
“Inside every tool is a hammer” never have more truer words been said. Every tool on a drilling rig is a hammer. Some are adjustable, some are torque while others are recordable incident hammers.
@@John_Malecki and then Peter Brown used epoxy to turn the book into a hammer.
Wow, those cabinets are going to look awesome!! You should be fine with getting your kitchen done in time because 1st babies tend to be more on the late side....... if not, I'd settle for some video of you guy's with your new kiddo. That might just me me though as I've got 2 of my own and think babies are one of the best things EVER!! LOL 😊👍👍
Watching this makes me feel better about screwing up all my cabinets at work! Thanks!
Good luck mate dadding is awesome and terrible at the same time. Teamwork makes the dream work so best wishes and love to you your wifey and the boys
Don’t start a project or have an unfinished one when the baby comes! I did a bathroom remodel with a 4 month old and she saw the finished result at 8 months. All I did was replace a tub with new tile........your time is now gone.......sorry for the bad news but love the idea that you tried and I am still hoping it gets done! But you do have a crew to get it done for you so you will not miss out on Dad time, which you should never give up because those early months are precious. Congrats John!
The story of every time anyone builds something. Everything is wrong and somewhere a cut is off. Watching your videos is like a look into my head every time I build a table or something. Just my mind calling itself names. lol
I'm sure the crew will pull through!
Love this video.
I would give up with so many small mistakes!!
Love the color of rhe cabinets!!
It's looking fantastic, guys! 😃
Awesome work!!!
Jorden stands around a bit, prove your cut before you cut the second part on the CNC Jorden.
I wished you guys pump out more videos.
Best of luck!!!
Congrats John & Sarah!
I hate shapers... you have to have exactly the right height everything. Add an 1/8” to every rail is what we did to fix the problem
John great video as always. I’ve got an idea. Can you do a collaboration with Nick Oferman (aka Ron Swanson)???
This is the best, funniest video ever!!! We were not laughing at your pain.....ummm.....well, yeah we totally were!! Hang in there guys...tomorrow could suck just as bad!! :)
I just love getting the tip for free! Thanks Sam!
I just had an idea for a cool project. How about a epoxy table but with wood shavings floating in it.
Ya Bespoke is good but expensive if your in Canada. Exchange is way way expensive.
damn those mistakes looked frustrating! next time you better have enough time to make a FULL MOCKUP COMMON GUYS
Can you do a boring video on dust collection in your shop? Looking for some squirrelly solutions here to bring down the dust in our shop
John you got a good crew. Take care of family and take a nap while you can. After awhile sleep sounds better than sex
Love your work. And the videos are great.
Awsomw video mam!!!!!! Really like how the house is coming along 😁
I feel like jordan is not getting hired after this, LMAO whoever is editing these KEEP it Up!!! so funny
RON SWANSON WATCHING IS WATCHING YOU AT ALL TIMES 😂
Ahh! Crunch time, Congrats johnny boy
This happens to EVERYBODY that is in the 11th hour on a dead stop project and feels like there’s NO ROOM FOR ERROR when they’ve been working longer hours to get it done. There’s more sense of urgency to meet the deadline Andy trust your first measurement and less time taken to measure/calculate/measure/cut. The extra time spent in prework will reduce time in rework.

My .02
"You know what...its your kitchen ..you build it " .. I lost my urine .
Plywood won’t expand and contract like a solid wood panel, in fact you can glue the plywood panel into the door and make it very strong. Very enjoyable video watching mistakes get fixed. We all make them, it’s just how you fix it!
plywood doesn't move, but solid wood around it does. That means its ok to glue only in couple spots in the centre.
For some reason Jordan reminds me of McLovin
Love the color of the cabinets! What is the name of the color?
I've enjoyed watching your pre baby remodeling. Let me tell ya...Hey, no worries. Our babies were predicted to be born around the same time, but as things go, mine arrived 3 weeks early. Bahahahaha. You've got plenty of time. 😆
Hell yeah
Jordan: John doesn't come to help us
John: I'm here to critique their work
Also John: You boys aren't done yet?
Baby can be literally any day here now every video XD
Love me some malecki madness
Finally getting round to watching this series. Has someone in video editing got into Bad Obsession Motorsport's channel? There are quite a few similar background tracks... 🤔
"Inside every tool is a hammer" sounds like a tshirt. Is it a tshirt yet?
John: I won't tell you that story.
Everyone: You used to bully him right?
Greetings from Davenport Iowa and like 👍 your videos
What kind of paint is used on the cabinets?
I from Russia good job and good luck.
What finish did you use? Is it paint or one of the tinted lacquers or polys?
Cool
I don’t understand how someone can mess up so much but it’s funny and it’s probs cause it’s America
Discovery channel needs you for a reality🔥😎🔥😎
What is the color that you used for the cabinets?
Sam said he wanted Jordans wood hahahahaha
What paint color are you cabinets?
How much did the paint job cost?
I painted mine myself and I hated every moment of it
Go check out Fridays at the farm
It gets better John, hope you get those power naps in soon. Because you won't sleep well again for 21 years. Lol
Can we get a new tip of the day we have talked about spaceballs multiple times
What finish are you spraying?
What finish was used?
Good job, but I feel like you'll be repainting in a few years.
THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME
“Inside every tool is a hammer”
That was my take away from this video. 😀
John Malecki AKA Paul Sr 🤣
If Sam isn't careful repeatedly playing just the tip with Space Balls we're going to end up with a space balls baby.
I like this cause make it seem like I'm not the only that makes measurement mistakes haha shit honestly happens haha
Love Sam and Jordan's ass clownery haha
Love your channel John. I have to say though, it's disappointing to see Jordan being treated with very little respect. It's clear that there is a certain 'banter' that seems to have taken place, however, Jordan seems like a great guy. Helping him come out of his shell and encouraging his growth will undoubtedly add to his ability express himself and contribute to your channel and workplace.
Thanks Roy! John is actually treats me very well, just likes to joke around
