I think the metal legs are a great choice! Especially sprayed black, they really help to make the entire table top pop as they kinda disappear and really draw attention to the entire table top. I think with wood legs only the geode would have really stood out. The wood itself has such great character and plays a big part in making the magical tree! All the details, like the color shift in the paint, stacking the crystals bigger to smaller, and spraying the legs black, really added up in the end and it turned out absolutely fantastic!

Hey Great work!! I think it looks really good. But if you run into epoxy with end grain or a wood thats pours ( like white oak) try using a quick drying lacquer ( 3 to 4 coats), This should seal the grain absorption, and stop hundreds of small air bubbles from forming in the long drying epoxy. Hope that helps.

This is the first video that I saw by you guys. I didn’t have a google account back then so I couldn’t comment, but I love going back to this because it reminds me of a different time. And the video is just supper cool!
I like how Katelyn makes the eyes on the air conditioner move!
Removing the bark triggered me
We should have put a "trigger" tag!

You guys are legendary! What a cool project. I certainly learned a lot, but I don't think I would ever actually DO this diy. But, I would pay artists such as yourselves top dollar for such a beautiful and unique piece.
Thank you so much! It was a lot to tackle for sure, but glad you enjoyed the video!
