Schneider tells Snake that bombs ended up killing civilians in the process. Then he goes on to become part of NASA's Extraterrestrial Force (some "Space Marines" vibe going on here), where he became a ninja-like soldier. I just thought His name was Jaeger and hers was Hunter and that their names were irrelevant to their relationship 😂😂
The OG cyborg ninja , too bad that he died to MG Rex , because I really wish we could see him fight with Snake , and most likely with Raiden in the future. Speaking of Raiden , you should do him next , because , you can't just talk about one cyborg ninja without bringing the next one right after the first one (or so that's what I always say to myself , for some God for saken reason). BTW , I subbed.
I think in death he became more important than he ever was even in life because he planted the meme in Solid Snake who went on to change everyone he interacted with. Big Boss inspired Frank Hunter to fight for his own cause, and Solid Snake would assume the Grey Fox role of mentor in Metal Gear 2, breaking Raiden away from the Patriot's control and ensuring Sunny, the daughter of Olga, could be rescued from the Patriots with Raiden's help. Sunny herself would later design the code that would completely destroy the Patriots while revolver osolot under the guise of Liquid Snake would draw the Patriots attention on himself completely. This is important because all those folks who actually really understood what Big Boss wanted would be the one's to slay the Patriots, the ultimate heartless machine. In essence, Solid Snake inherited the will and role of Frank Hunter which inspired other characters down the line to finally fight for their own will and break the cycle of violence that Major Zero and his comrades initiated.
Well, she was part of the Patriots, along with the DARPA chief, Donald Anderson (AKA Sigint, the cool gun-loving dude from MGS3), and Zero himself, who got euthanized by Big Boss. Para-Medic was loyal to Zero, so was Sigint, and so, his orders (or, so to speak, his wishes, carried on via the proxy AIs) were to be followed by them, without questioning. Not to mention, Para-Medic was very young during Operation Snake Eater, maybe around her early-to-mid twenties, so she would still have some of that "teenage feel". And if we take a look closely, if Para-Medic really went from a cute movieholic woman to a sadistic torturer, we can compare her to Big Boss' naïve, grunt/soldier mind from 1964 to his descent into insanity in the 1990s. Someone who once brought the world to the brink of World War III, re-ignited the fear of nuclear annihilation and held the world's only ready to go nuclear arsenal (according to MG2), all just to see himself (and the world, in some twisted way) free from the Patriots. Instead of Zero's/The Patriots' control, Big Boss would bring chaos, the complete opposite of control. Wars would spread like wildfire and total anarchy would rule the world. Soldiers and mercenaries would be given something to live for, and the orphans of war would be trained (similar to the kids found in MG2) to be the next generation of soldiers. To fight in the next bloody war. Funny as he kinda seems to resent all of that in MGS4, gives an unique feel to the character.
From a child soldier(past Frank Jaeger on portable ops) to a brainwashed soldier (became Null to portable ops) to a prisoner(Metal Gear 1) to a graded soldier(Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake) to a cyborg ninja(Metal Gear Solid 1 Twin Snakes)
Solid Snake was the only one of The Snakes that never served as a “Boss” in the sense that every Boss in this series has control of a PMC - aka - a Militia. - The Boss - Big Boss - Venom - Solidus - Liquid - Even Ocelot eventually had control of a PMC
I had an interesting theory that Raiden and Gray Fox might possibly be related, maybe even brothers. They both have white hair, they’re both skilled swordsman and they both play similar roles in the grand scheme of the lore. I know its a bit of a stretch but it would also be cool if Jack ended up inheriting his brothers sword especially considering they were both part of fox hound to an extent.

Love this channel😏
You’re very good at this👍🏾
14:35 “cool, maybe this’ll come in handy for a stupid plot device for the sequel”
"Handy"? I see what you did
who would had though that the sweet movieholic para-medic of mgs3 would become in a mad torturer scientist in the future
Funny as he kinda seems to resent all of that in MGS4, gives an unique feel to the character.
would be cool if they remade the first couple games and filled in the story and plot from 86 to 2000, maybe with kojima as a guest star
Bro yes that’s all we need is the 2 to play as grey fox. But cyber Ninja XD
i wish kojima accepted mgs po as cannon ita fckn brilliant and fits in with the lore so well
It is! Mgs 4 mentions it
@@HistoryandReviews parts of it are canon
for example the psychic twins prophesying is not part of canon mgs just like mga
Its actually a brilliant story and is proof that mgs can move on without kojima if the rights to metal gear go to another game studio.
I was today years old when I found out Grey Fox's real name is Frank.
This essay is glorious
Trying to comprehend this game series' lore gives me a brain hemmorage, because holy shit there is a lot to grasp.
Kingdom Hearts fans:😂😂😂
Omg the "GLORIOUS" in the backgroud love that wwe theme
I live for more mgs from you.
Master miller's stalking technique is just tapping forward on the Dpad to tip toe
Metal Gear Solid still surprising me with things in it I didn't know about. Grey Fox gets you out the prison.
Aww man, I would've loved to see a Metal Gear Rising prequel starring Grey Fox.
finally, some good fucking content
I think you meant Tower of Gray
I low key though the fox inspiration was snake eyes because of how both snake eyes and the fox never reveal there eyes
They should make a game called Metal Gear Zanzibar. That story sounds epic
The next MGS should be a Gray Fox game
Bobby roode glorious in the back 😁 grey fox is my fave character
Make me feel alive again!
Such is why I will never play rising without his skin. Sword's a bit op, so I tend to use other stuff, but the Grey Fox Skin stays on
The problem with Grey Fox that just could’t let go of wars and always find his way back into it, he had a couple of chances to just walk away.
3 years after posting, but here's another obligatory "Kojima confirmed POs main plot was canon outside of some minor details" comment
Missing Our Gray Fox
Ahh yes the iconic cyborg ninja assassin "deepthroat" from the Metal Gear games
I am neither friend nor enemy.........
You're that ninja...
Solid Snake was the only one of The Snakes that never served as a “Boss” in the sense that every Boss in this series has control of a PMC - aka - a Militia.
- The Boss
- Big Boss
- Venom
- Solidus
- Liquid
- Even Ocelot eventually had control of a PMC
i'm watching this and i'm like yo why am i thinking about bobby roode
Venom was a good man
I had an interesting theory that Raiden and Gray Fox might possibly be related, maybe even brothers. They both have white hair, they’re both skilled swordsman and they both play similar roles in the grand scheme of the lore. I know its a bit of a stretch but it would also be cool if Jack ended up inheriting his brothers sword especially considering they were both part of fox hound to an extent.
Ah that beautiful opera, heard it sung so much because I could never remember the codec frequencies.
"Youre that ninja......"
