It’s simple really. If someone says Muhammed didn’t exist, then they need to say that Ali ibn Abu taleb, Hassan, Hussein, Zain Al Abedeen etc.. didn’t exist. That’s a lot of people you need to prove didn’t exist

There certainly was a character who claimed to have received revelations but he could've had a different name. This character was shown to be a fraud but there were a group of people who recognized the benefit of this character and used him to form the Qur'an which paved the way for this new cult to conquer and subjugate.
@@doctormgm1812 Its strange that Muhammads name is given so much reverence and importance but hardly mentioned in the Qur'an. So it's highly likely that there was a religious leader but we wasnt called Muhammed.

I really liked the part where you read that 'how could they rewrite a whole century of their history, especially when they could not agree on anything and were in constant civil fights.' What a logical argument!
You say “rewrite”. The revisionist view is that the Book was not in fact written at all until late in the century as a way of helping unify the various Arab factions. Then there is the incoherent text itself. whose most cohesive parts have to do with the rejection of the divinity of Jesus.
@@johnschuh8616 Then there's the question of "a book", since honest scholarship as well as Islamic sources agree that there were several versions of "the book" which needed synthesizing and refining. The thousands of variants found in "the book" throw severe doubt that there was "a book" but rather hundreds, perhaps thousands of "books" for many, even hundreds, of years.

@JurrassicBombastic so are you saying that people who are writing are always truthful or know what they are talking about? or are you assuming that the people writing on a specific event experienced it themselves necessarily and that the story was not narrated to them by someone?
You can't take oral history as absolute truth either, especially when it contradicts everything we know up to this point. Therefore there might have been a Muhammed but there was no revelation from angels. There might have been earthquakes but the moon didn't split. There might have been fast horses but Muhammed didn't ride into outer space. There might be a God but he has to be moral so he's not the God of the bible and Quran.

Mhmd was a Messianic title. Not a person per se. There is a 523AD Jewish inscription that uses it in relation to God. Christians used on their coins in relation to Jesus in the 7th century, with crosses or the fish symbol, so it clearly wasn't the Muhammad of traditions being referenced. The Round city of Pumbedita/Baghdad was a significant location for Messianic jews, who believed they were in post-apocalptic times, hence why they called the city, the city of peace. The Jewish academies are what generated everything and later became mosques. Shariah law developed similarly to Talmudic law, following Jewish methodologies and vocabulary. No, the islamic Muhamad never existed, Hegira never happened, Mecca did not exist during the VII° century, there were not any pagans at that time in Arabia. Muhamad is missing from the islamic sources till the end of 7° century, 686. If he had created islam, he would have been presented along the new religion and the califs would have indicated the origins of their power... Imagine Jesus not being mentionned in the Christian sources till the end of the frst century. The historical Muhamad existed but has almost nothing to see with the islamic one who was invented centuries after by the califs propaganda (Ibn Hicham, Tabary, Buckhari).
There're no conflicting versions of the Quran? There are 6 versions of the Quran that I'm aware of, and they all have a different number of verses. The most common one in use was written by a man that Muhammad described as being guaranteed a place in hell. There's no archeological evidence that Mecca existed before 1400AD.
There was a Mohammed on one coin in about the 680's with a cross, so this Mohammed was not the Hadith Islamic Mohammed. There was no Islamic Mohammed or any Caliphs on coins probably because there was no Islam, Caliphs, Mohammed or Muslims until the late 7th century. According to Islamic sources, at the death of Muhammad in 632, the word Islam, the word Muslim and the Quran itself didn't exist. The Khalif Usman destroyed all the original text before creating his own version, and Yazid, the second Khalif of the Omayyad dynasty tried to eradicate Muhammad's descendance at the battle of Karbala, October 10th 680. Muslims have a completely false understanding of the history and the origins of Islam.
Archaeological Evidence: There are inscriptions and coins from the early Islamic period that mention Muhammad and his followers. One such example is the Hims Inscription (around 638 CE) which mentions the Prophet and the nascent Islamic community.
Dome of the Rock Inscription (691-692 CE): Built in Jerusalem under the Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik, this structure has inscriptions referring to the Prophet Muhammad. These inscriptions, only a few decades after his death, mention Muhammad as God's messenger, solidifying his place in early Islamic tradition. Coins with Islamic Inscriptions: Coins minted in the early Islamic period, particularly under the rule of the Caliph Abd al-Malik (685-705 CE), bear inscriptions referring to Islam, Muhammad as the Prophet, and phrases like "There is no god but God, and Muhammad is His messenger." These coins circulated widely and were produced close to Muhammad’s lifetime, showing the spread of Islam and Muhammad's significant role. 2. Non-Muslim Writings Doctrina Jacobi (circa 634 CE): This is an anti-Muslim tract written by a Christian in Palestine only a few years after Muhammad's death. It mentions a "prophet" emerging among the Saracens (Arabs), who claims to be sent by God. Although the writer is critical, this reference aligns with the early Muslim belief that Muhammad was a prophet. Sebeos, Bishop of the House of Bagratunis (660s CE): This Armenian chronicle mentions a leader of the Ishmaelites (Arabs) who preached monotheism and launched conquests. Sebeos's account does not name Muhammad directly but describes the Arabs' prophet, indicating that by this time, Muhammad’s message and influence were recognized beyond the Arabian Peninsula. Chronicle of Thomas the Presbyter (640s CE): This Christian chronicle written in Syria references the Arab conquests and mentions that the Arabs were inspired by a "prophet" who led them to victories, further pointing to Muhammad’s existence and influence in guiding the Muslim community. 3. Archaeological Evidence and Written Documents The Hims Inscription (circa 634 CE): This inscription from Syria mentions the presence of Muslims and is dated very close to the Prophet Muhammad’s death. Although it does not mention Muhammad directly, it indicates the spread of the community he founded shortly after his lifetime. The Umayyad Caliphate’s Administrative Documents: Documents from the early caliphates reference Islamic beliefs and practices established by Muhammad. For example, papyri from Egypt dating to the 640s-660s CE document early Islamic governance practices, which were based on Muhammad’s teachings. 4. Contemporary Political and Religious Context Rapid Spread of Islam: The rapid expansion of Islamic rule and the early Caliphate after Muhammad’s death provide indirect evidence of his existence. Within a few decades, his teachings led to a united community that conquered vast territories across the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond. The structure and success of this early Islamic state suggest a strong foundational figure, widely believed by both Muslim and non-Muslim historians to be Muhammad. Christian and Byzantine Sources: Figures like John of Damascus, a Christian theologian writing in the 7th century, discuss Islam and Muhammad critically. Although sometimes incorrect or biased, such accounts acknowledge the existence of a leader named Muhammad and the rise of his followers. 5. Muslim Historical Texts from Muhammad’s Companions’ Lifetimes Early Islamic Historiography: The biographies (Sira) and hadiths (records of sayings and actions) about Muhammad were initially transmitted orally, then written down in the generations after his death. Figures such as Ibn Ishaq (8th century) and al-Tabari (9th century) compiled these early accounts, preserving oral traditions from Muhammad's companions and others who lived in his time. Summary While not all of these sources were written with the intent to document Muhammad’s life, they collectively provide evidence of Muhammad’s existence, his role as a religious leader, and his influence in unifying the Arabian Peninsula and initiating the expansion of Islam. Non-Islamic sources, dated inscriptions, early Islamic coins, and the rapid emergence of a distinctly Islamic state all support the reality of Muhammad as a historical figure whose influence quickly spread beyond Arabia

Jay Smith Embarrassing mistakes on the bogus history of Dome of the rock 1). First big Mistakes forgetting the Crusader Abdul Malik bin Marwan was the fifth caliph of the Umayyads dynasty. Jay Smit praised him as “the great Arab reformer", because Abdul Malik created Muhammad and Islam out of nothing, totally from thin air .... Hahaha. He created Muhammad by ordering people to write the name Muhammad on the dome of the rock. Once Muhammad was created by Abdul Malik, then suddenly Quran miraculously come into existence complete 114 chapters...hahaha. Abdul Malik then ordered people to write some inscription from Quranic verses he just created on various wals of some of the rock. On the south wall, people wrote these verses In the name of God, the Merciful the Compassionate. There is no god but God. He is One. He has no associate. Unto Him belongeth sovereignity and unto Him belongeth praise. He quickeneth and He giveth death; and He has Power over all things. Muhammad is the servant of God and His Messenger. Note : You can check all inscriptions on dome on the rock on Islamic awareness website. The problem is When creating his bogus Islamic history, Jay Smith Ph.D.seems to forget that, when the Crusaders conquered Jerusalem in 1099, after bloody massacre of jew and Muslims. The crusader then gave the Dome of the Rock to the Augustinians, who turned it into a church named The Templum Domini. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Templum_Domini This Church became an important symbol of Jerusalem, depicted on coins minted under the Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem. Jay Smith PhD then create a bogus story that Abdul Malik has ordered people to write down some inscriptions on the wall of dome of the rock ambulatory. That inscription includes an explicit rejection of the divinity of Christ, People of the Book, do not go to excess in your religion, and do not say anything about God except the truth: the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was nothing more than a messenger of God, His word, directed to Mary, a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His messengers and do not speak of a ‘Trinity’- stop, that is better for you- God is only one God, He is far above having a son, everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Him and He is the best one to trust. Do you think is it possible the writings against Christianity were left untouched by the crusaders for hundreds of years inside the church Templum Domini, and survive to the preset day?. That's impossible....hahaha. Please read the story of crusader conquest of Jerusalem I don't believe Arab Christians at that time didn't understand the verses that contradicted the divinity of Jesus. Judging from the story of Jewish and Muslim massacre during Jerusalem conquest, it is impossible the writings against Christianity were left untouched inside the church Templum Domini located at the center in area ruled by crusaders. After nearly a hundred years under Crusader rule, on October 2, 1187, Muslim army under Saladin, reconquered Jerusalem. Saladin turned the dome of the rock into a Muslim shrine. Many of the Mameluke, Abbasid and Ottoman sultans who ruled after Saladin, made many changes to the dome of the rock. Therefore, The Dome of the Rock was built by the Umayyad caliph Abdul al-Malik but the famous inscription on the dome ambulatory was made by Abbasid caliph Al-Ma'mun (r. 813-833) during whose reign renovations took place. Al-Mamun name is written along with the inscriptions of famous Qur'anic verses, all written in the Kufic script. The biggest change was made by the 16th-century Ottoman sultan Suleyman the Magnificent, who decorated it with Quranic Inscriptions in Tuluth Arabic Script and Turkish faience tiles. 2). St John of Damascus called Muslims “Saracens” and Mohammed a “false prophet” The biggest earliest critique of Islam is John of Damascus or St. John of Damascus, (Eastern and Western feast day December 4). He was born c. 675, Damascus and died December 4, 749, near Jerusalem. He life during Abdul Malik reign and quite close from the time of prophet death in 632 AD. Jhon of Damascus is a Christian saint who well known as the first Christian polemicist. How it is possible this Christian Saint criticized Islam if Mohammad doesn’t exist. In his book The Fountain of Wisdom, in the second part he wrote Concerning Heresy (Perì eréseon) - the last chapter of this part (Chapter 101) deals with the Heresy of the Ishmaelite. He explicitly wrote About Muhammad and Islam, like this a) Agarenes, Ishmaelites and Saracens, There is also the superstition of the Ishmaelites which to this day prevails and keeps people in error, being a forerunner of the Antichrist. They are descended from Ishmael, [who] was born to Abraham of Agar, and for this reason they are called both Agarenes and Ishmaelites. They are also called Saracens, which is derived from Sarras kenoi, or destitute of Sara, because of what Agar said to the angel: ‘Sara hath sent me away destitute.’ [99] b) called Muhammad was a False Prophet who Life During The Time of Heraclius These used to be idolaters and worshiped the morning star and Aphrodite, whom in their own language they called Khabár, which means great. [100] And so down to the time of Heraclius they were very great idolaters. From that time to the present a false prophet named Mohammed has appeared in their midst. This man, after having chanced upon the Old and New Testaments and likewise, it seems, having conversed with an Arian monk, [101] devised his own heresy. c) He tell very famous story about Muhammad propagated by Christian polemicist As has been related, this Mohammed wrote many ridiculous books, to each one of which he set a title. For example, there is the book On Woman, [109] in which he plainly makes legal provision for taking four wives and, if it be possible, a thousand concubines-as many as one can maintain, besides the four wives. He also made it legal to put away whichever wife one might wish, and, should one so wish, to take to oneself another in the same way. Mohammed had a friend named Zeid. This man had a beautiful wife with whom Mohammed fell in love. Once, when they were sitting together, Mohammed said: ‘Oh, by the way, God has commanded me to take your wife.’ The other answered: ‘You are an apostle. Do as God has told you and take my wife.’ Rather-to tell the story over from the beginning-he said to him: ‘God has given me the command that you put away your wife.’ And he put her away. Then several days later: ‘Now,’ he said, ‘God has commanded me to take her.’ Then, after he had taken her and committed adultery with her, he made this law: ‘Let him who will put away his wife. Sorthodoxinfo.com/general/stjohn_islam.aspx On Catholics Ensyclopedia you can find a short paragraph on Jhon of Damascus about Islam and Muhammad. The second part, "Concerning Heresy", is little more than a copy of a similar work by Epiphanius, brought up to date by John Damascene. The author indeed expressly disclaims originality except in the chapters devoted to Islamism, Iconoclasm, and Aposchitae. To the list of eighty heresies that constitute the "Panarion" of Epiphanius, he added twenty heresies that had sprung up since his time. In treating of Islamism he vigorously assails the immoral practices of Mohammed and the corrupt teachings inserted in the Koran to legalize the delinquencies of the prophet www.newadvent.org/cathen/08459b.htm Conclusion So, St John of Damascus called Muslims “Saracens”, “Ishmaelites” and “Agarenes”, except that the “Saracens” designation might have been used earlier. Some proofs on the existence of Muhammad pbuh: 1. Non-Muslim's written evidence of existence of Muhammad, 2. Coins, artifacts as evidence of existence of Muhammad, 3. The handwritten Holy Quran of the time of Muhammad and present time printed Quran has been found exactly same, and The Holy Quran mentions existence of Muhammad, it was ascribed on Muhammad, Allah was talking with Muhammad. So, it's the best proof of existence of Muhammad. 4. Enumerate hadiths were quoted as quoted from Muhammad by Muhammad's disciples and were written by next century Islamic clerics. It proved overwhelmingly the existence of Muhammad. 5. Neighboring countries e.g. Iran, Ethiopia, Yemen, Syria etc have historical connections with Muhammad be it friendly or enmity. 6. All previous testaments of Jews, Christian, and others like Hindu have prophecy that a messenger should come at later age in the name of Muhammad of Ahmad. 7. Muslim historians wrote all about Muhammad allthough Christian historians don't regard Muslim historians as historians. But secularly considering, Muslim historians were and are also historians. 8. Muslims also has been bringing forth the story of Muhammad by oral message, songs, poetry and all for of literature. 9. Circumstantial many evidences proves the existence of Muhammad pbuh, the prophet of Islam and messenger of Allah. 10. It's proved that no prophet is coming this 15 hundred years, even many claimed unsuccessfully. 11. No religion other than Islam could show its stubbornness of being stick to Monotheism that Allah is one and only. But nature keeps a slot for Monotheism, and it has been filled up by Islam long since. 12. Christianity is expanding by addition of terminal people like pools, Aborigines , lower caste etc, but Islam is expanding by addition of Cristian priests, Jews Rabbi, Hindu clerics, atheists, scientists, renoun singer, sport persons, educators, socialists - all cream of society. 13. Only the forthcoming signs mentioned by Muhammad are matching with the reality as time progresses. All above proofs is enough to consolidate the very existence of Muhammad pbup and he is the last messenger of Allah swbtl.
Wow! This knowledge is golden. What a clever compilation of facts indeed! Thank you Paul for this. Its a jewel! I never knew that the Christians had such early sources of our beloved prophet Muhammad...May peace and blessings be apon him🙏
I can't believe this is an actual argument. Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him was one the greatest man to ever walk on the face of this earth. There are entire books full of his sayings (Hadith) and his acts (Sunnah). His literal body is buried and still visitable today at the Masjid-e-Nabvi. May Allah guide us all.
@@Happyiyadthere’s plenty of evidence to prove that muhammad existed, firstly, hes mentioned in the Birmingham manuscript, which is a Quran that was carbon dated to the year 568-645. The fact that we even have a quranic manuscript that dates back to his era just proves that he existed, secondly, Muhammad is referenced in many near contemporary documents, for an example. He’s mentioned in the doctrina Jacobi which mentions him around 2 years after his death, and he’s also mentioned by sebeos. A 7th century Armenian historian.
The hadith, Quran and the sciences of hadith are as trustworthy as human beings can be when it relates to history. Those who know about Isnad and hadtih sciences know what I'm saying. There is literally nothing as verifiable as hadith and the Quran in the entire world and I say this with the utmost confidence. All the history anyone of us has learned in school, college and University cannot match the reliability of Hadith and chains of narration. There is literally nothing on this planet that matches verifiable reliability of Quran and hadith and with this said, to make a case that the prophet wasn't even real or alive is truly one of the most absurd things I have ever heard. There were 100s and 100s of people literally writing down and watching everything he did, ate, how he sat, how he prayed, how he walked and talked, how he looked and all of it coming from MULTIPLE different people saying the exact same things. Those who are firmly grounded in knowledge will never fall for the ignorant and deviant tongues of the evil ones.
Paul, you are the sound of reason during the current time we live in.... your gift of enlightenment, immense knowledge, and perseverance compliment your very strength of intellect, reason, and rationality. Thank you for all your contributions....
Thank you for the video. Since I converted to Islam a few years ago, I have been questioned by religious friends and atheist friends alike why I would convert. Even my so-called atheist friends pretend they have no religion presented me with a Christian argument for not believing in Islam. These videos really help solidify the faith I have chosen as the real true faith, Islam has brought peace to my turbulent life.
How can Islam bring you peace when this religion tells you to hate and kill nonbelievers of Islam. Chapter 5 verse 51 and Chapter 9 verse 29 etc. Now either you were never a Christian or you have converted to a religion where you can't even read the Quran because it's written in Arabic and therefore you don't understand what you have signed your soul up for. Not a very wise choice that you have made. Blessings 🙏
@@fairplayright626 we're not like Christians to not have a translation of the quraan. Bible wasn't even allowed to be translated. But thats not Muslims. And everyone knows this ayah refers to war situation. I'm guessing in war ull just stand there and let the enemies chop ur head off right? Well we Muslims are taught to have some spine and defend ourselves and avenge the loss of our beloved ones and the loss of our wealth and homeland. Muslims were permitted to war because they were exiled, their wealth and prestige and families torn off from them and dignity crushed. Conquest was only thought of after peaceful negotiations.
Always interesting that missionaries whose primary aim is supposedly to spread the Gospel and Christianity seem more preoccupied and dare I say threatened by the Truth of Islam than doing the work of the Church. It reeks of insecurity and self doubt, that rather than reinforce their own faith, they feel the need to invalidate another. Anyone comfortable with their own faith wouldn't feel the need to denigrate another. Looks to me that these missionaries aren't the most faithful of believers therefore.
@@AB-kz3xm You're a bit short on knowledge. Torah, Gospels ARE Islam. The doctrine of Paul is something entirely different. So no, when real Christians or Jews have something to say then it IS worth hearing. Also...who is Jesus? They could have called him Clifford or Gary if his name was going to changed. So these missionaries preach untruths and use the same untruths to try among themselves to feel better. An interesting topic, it can get quite confusing at times but I’m glad you decided to tackle it. I’d suggest you focus more on the early origins of Islam, I believe it would be beneficial to have your contribution to the discussion
I’ve only ever heard of one scholar, who approached this topic by studying both orientalist and islamic books, it’s too bad his lectures are only in Arabic and many Arabic books that would have been useful have not been translated. Some Muslim scholars even sought to reconstruct the Prophet’s seerah entirely from the Quran, as it is the most reliable source, although it gives us a briefer version of his life.
@@jesuswasmuslim995 He is an Iraqi scholar named Sayyed Kamal Al-Haydari. He is shi’i who has been ostracized by both his own community and the sunnis because of his works that challenge current Arab and islamic politics. I would love for you to watch his numerous lectures where he seeks to create dialogues between atheists and muslims or where he discusses women’s issues and topics such as post-modernism and its effects and much more, but sadly they have not been translated.
I'm very on the fence about this issue. It seems impossible that a whole academic field can be completely wrong on such an important issue, but at the same time there are so many inconsistencies in the Standard Islamic narrative that I can't not entertain the possibility that he either didn't exist or was so different to the biographical accounts that we take for granted today. First of all the Qu'ran mentions Jesus way more times than Muhammad which is very strange to me and it never cleary demonstrates that the word Muhammad is actually a name for a single person but rather uses the term as a title as Muhammad means 'the praiseworthy'. Also there really is no evidence that Mecca existed before the 8th century AD. Ptolemy, who you mentioned as naming a place called 'Makoraba' in the 1st century, had never been to the Arabian peninsula before he made his map and was basing it of information he had heard and so his information of places outside of the Roman empire were very rough and what's interesting is that he draws a river just South of this 'Makoraba' which cannot be Mecca because there never has been a river anywhere near Mecca. It's very weak evidence and it's all people use to try and prove it's existence. However the most devastating work done to the standard narrative has come from German scholars, Gunther Lüling and Christoph Luxembourg who have shown that the mysterious verses of the Qu'ran, which make up a third of the text, were originally Aramaic Christian hymnals and lectionary texts which when translated into early Arabic and then later further altered due to the diacritical marks added into Arabic script later on, made these teeks indecipherable, hence why they are called mysterious. The fact that almost a third of the Qu'ran was originally Christian texts are just to obvious to ignore and I wish more people would address these scholars who are ignored because it's deemed 'unhelpful' in the dialogue with Muslims.
The first 6 minutes show evidence against the traditional histories of Islam, and what follows is a very weak argument. Muhammad is hardly mentioned in the Quran, and Mecca not at all. If Muhammad existed, he did not come from Mecca.
Even if he existed his morals are very wrong with slave trading , sex slaves ,marrying his daughter in law zainab etc . I am not adding anything from me and all this things are mentioned in islamic books
One of the most interesting 7th century accounts about Prophet Muhammad is from Sebeos who was a Bishop of the House of Bagratunis. Sebeos is the first non-Muslim author to present us with a theory for the rise of Islam that pays attention to what the Muslims themselves thought they were doing: *At that time a certain man from along those same sons of Ishmael, whose name was Mụhammad, a merchant, as if by God's command appeared to them as a preacher and the path of truth. He taught them to recognize the God of Abraham, especially because he was learnt and informed in the history of Moses. Now because the command was from on high, at a single order they all came together in unity of religion. Abandoning their vain cults, they turned to the living God who had appeared to their father Abraham. So, Muhammad legislated for them: not to eat carrion, not to drink wine, not to speak falsely, and not to engage in fornication. He said: 'With an oath God promised this land to Abraham and his seed after him for ever. And he brought about as he promised during that time while he loved Israel. But now you are the sons of Abraham and God is accomplishing his promise to Abraham and his seed for you. Love sincerely only the God of Abraham, and go and seize the land which God gave to your father Abraham. No one will be able to resist you in battle, because God is with you.* *- R. G. Hoyland, Seeing Islam As Others Saw It: A Survey And Evaluation Of Christian, Jewish And Zoroastrian Writings On Early Islam, 1997, p. 129* We can see that Sebeos knows plenty of personal information about Prophet Muhammad. For example, he is aware that Muhammad was a merchant by profession before his Prophethood. He hints that his life was suddenly changed by a divinely inspired revelation. He presents a good summary of Prophet Muhammad's preaching i.e belief in One God and Abraham as a common ancestor of Jews and Arabs. He even picks out some of the prohibitions which are mentioned in the Qur'an, such as false speech and drinking of alcohol. All this information that Sebeos presents accurately conforms to the Islamic traditions. Many take such detailed, early and accurate accounts about Prophet Muhammad for granted but it's actually quite rare with figures from ancient history.
The Armenian chronicler Sebeos mentions the name of the prophet as early as 661C.E. He claims: "At this time there was an Ishmaelite called Mahmet, a merchant; he presented himself as though at God's command, as a preacher, as the way of truth and taught them to know the God of Abraham, for he was very well informed and very well acquainted with the story of Moses". (Robert G. Hoyland. 'Seeing Islam as others saw it' p. 535). Robert Hoyland was a former student of Patricia Crone and given Crone's tenacity in trying to neglect everything 'Islamic' yet conceded to the point that the prophet existed, I don't have any idea why such a subject is still a point of contention. Anyway good video Paul!
The facts are all the early Quibla (the first century of Islam ) face the North and not the current site of Mecca The facts are absolutely no archeology has been unearthed in Mecca to suggest there was anything substantial there prior to the 9th Century and that fact is there is no original Quran due to the fact Uthman burned large portions of what existed as the 3rd Caliph. The Chinese who took very detailed history during this period of Muhammed had no knowledge of him when Islam entered into China. Only later did the story change. Perhaps you as an Academic could explain why the physical does not tally with the historical or theoretical? The truth will out itself ultimately as the Archeologist and Palaeontologist prove week on week In Jerusalem and surrounding areas.
Some Christians will go out of their way and try to debunk Islam. Because they got no more answers to the Bible's that they know is full of faults and which Muslim can easily debunk as not God words but written by people who never met Jesus pbuh.
Thank you !! I think more research should be done on this subject. At the time of Muhammad, some Jewish tribes had settled in Medina (Yathrib) and around it. They build fortresses and were more advanced culturally and socially than the other tribes. Perhaps, their literature was not entirely hidden or extinct. It is also good to know why those jewish tribes had chosen to live among the gentiles in Arabia. Were they expecting the apparition of a promised prophet? Did they even call their children after his name (Machamad, Manachma, Menachem...)?
Its not clear why the jewish medina reject muhammad but the reason the arabs yathrib tribes to follow muhammad because of the jews. The yathrib arab themselves that ask muhammad to move to yathrib. I suspect the reason jews rejection is mix of economic, prestige and power. They reject to follow him but knowledge that he is a prophet but not for jews.

@@johnschuh8616 Then there's the question of "a book", since honest scholarship as well as Islamic sources agree that there were several versions of "the book" which needed synthesizing and refining. How about the letters stamped by the finger ring of Prophet Mohammad which had been sent to Hercules , Persia and various Arab tribes inviting them to worship one GOD that are still exist until today in museums in Turkey and in Collection Places in Saudi Arabia. Also, the sites of battles and graveyards of early Muslim martyrs are still exist until today. Also, the birth place of Prophet Mohammad, some of the clothings and His Tomb all still exist until today and can be visited by public.
The doubters of MOHAMMAD are the same doubters of Quran and Islam ; even some of them suggested that MAKKAH the birth place of Mohammad was the city of ALBETRAA in Jordan not the one in Hijaz trying to separate Kaaba from Mohammad’s Life and linkage.
Doubters had no shame to deform the truth , such people had been doing it since PROPHET MOSES , JESUS and they ended up with MOHAMMAD!.

Sura, Kufa, Hira, Mahoze: all these places surround each other and explain the millieu the quran was written about. There was nothing much in Mecca until Caliph Al Rashid's wife had aquaducts built in 801 AD - "oh yeah, the endless Zamzam water, right!" Bottom line, there was no good reason that a sirah took 150-200 years to be written down. We don't even have those originals, sowho knows what they said at the beginning.

Muhamad is missing from the islamic sources till the end of 7° century, 686. If he had created islam, he would have been presented along the new religion and the califs would have indicated the origins of their power...

@@BloggingTheology do you believe in existence of prophet Muhammad
2. Non-Muslim Writings
Doctrina Jacobi (circa 634 CE): This is an anti-Muslim tract written by a Christian in Palestine only a few years after Muhammad's death.
3. Archaeological Evidence and Written Documents
The Hims Inscription (circa 634 CE): This inscription from Syria mentions the presence of Muslims and is dated very close to the Prophet Muhammad’s death.
4. Contemporary Political and Religious Context
Rapid Spread of Islam: The rapid expansion of Islamic rule and the early Caliphate after Muhammad’s death provide indirect evidence of his existence.
5. Muslim Historical Texts from Muhammad’s Companions’ Lifetimes
Early Islamic Historiography: The biographies (Sira) and hadiths (records of sayings and actions) about Muhammad were initially transmitted orally, then written down in the generations after his death. Figures such as Ibn Ishaq (8th century) and al-Tabari (9th century) compiled these early accounts, preserving oral traditions from Muhammad's companions and others who lived in his time.
Summary
While not all of these sources were written with the intent to document Muhammad’s life, they collectively provide evidence of Muhammad’s existence, his role as a religious leader, and his influence in unifying the Arabian Peninsula and initiating the expansion of Islam. Non-Islamic sources, dated inscriptions, early Islamic coins, and the rapid emergence of a distinctly Islamic state all support the reality of Muhammad as a historical figure whose influence quickly spread beyond Arabia

Jay Smith Embarrassing mistakes on the bogus history of Dome of the rock
1). First big Mistakes forgetting the Crusader
Abdul Malik bin Marwan was the fifth caliph of the Umayyads dynasty.
On the south wall, people wrote these verses
In the name of God, the Merciful the Compassionate.
The problem is
When creating his bogus Islamic history, Jay Smith Ph.D.seems to forget that, when the Crusaders conquered Jerusalem in 1099, after bloody massacre of jew and Muslims. The crusader then gave the Dome of the Rock to the Augustinians, who turned it into a church named The Templum Domini.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Templum_Domini
This Church became an important symbol of Jerusalem, depicted on coins minted under the Christian Kingdom of Jerusalem.
Jay Smith PhD then create a bogus story that Abdul Malik has ordered people to write down some inscriptions on the wall of dome of the rock ambulatory. That inscription includes an explicit rejection of the divinity of Christ,
People of the Book, do not go to excess in your religion, and do not say anything about God except the truth: the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was nothing more than a messenger of God, His word, directed to Mary, a spirit from Him.
Please read the story of crusader conquest of Jerusalem
I don't believe Arab Christians at that time didn't understand the verses that contradicted the divinity of Jesus.
2). St John of Damascus called Muslims “Saracens” and Mohammed a “false prophet”
The biggest earliest critique of Islam is John of Damascus or St.
He explicitly wrote About Muhammad and Islam, like this
a) Agarenes, Ishmaelites and Saracens,
There is also the superstition of the Ishmaelites which to this day prevails and keeps people in error, being a forerunner of the Antichrist. They are descended from Ishmael, [who] was born to Abraham of Agar, and for this reason they are called both Agarenes and Ishmaelites. They are also called Saracens, which is derived from Sarras kenoi, or destitute of Sara, because of what Agar said to the angel: ‘Sara hath sent me away destitute.’ [99]
b) called Muhammad was a False Prophet who
Life During The Time of Heraclius
These used to be idolaters and worshiped the morning star and Aphrodite, whom in their own language they called Khabár, which means great. [100] And so down to the time of Heraclius they were very great idolaters. From that time to the present a false prophet named Mohammed has appeared in their midst. This man, after having chanced upon the Old and New Testaments and likewise, it seems, having conversed with an Arian monk, [101] devised his own heresy.
c) He tell very famous story about Muhammad propagated by Christian polemicist
As has been related, this Mohammed wrote many ridiculous books, to each one of which he set a title.
And if, after having put her away, he should return to her, let another marry her. For it is not lawful to take her unless she have been married by another. Furthermore, if a brother puts away his wife, let his brother marry her, should he so wish.’ [110] In the same book he gives such precepts as this: ‘Work the land which God hath given thee and beautify it. And do this, and do it in such a manner” [111]-not to repeat all the obscene things that he did.
Sorthodoxinfo.com/general/stjohn_islam.aspx
On Catholics Ensyclopedia you can find a short paragraph on Jhon of Damascus about Islam and Muhammad.
In treating of Islamism he vigorously assails the immoral practices of Mohammed and the corrupt teachings inserted in the Koran to legalize the delinquencies of the prophet
www.newadvent.org/cathen/08459b.htm
Conclusion
So, St John of Damascus called Muslims “Saracens”, “Ishmaelites” and “Agarenes”, except that the “Saracens” designation might have been used earlier. All those names were pejorative. he also called Muhammad by name five times and he also called Mohammed a false prophet. He vigorously assails the immoral practices of Mohammed and the corrupt teachings inserted in the Koran to legalize the delinquencies of the prophet
How could a Christian Saint, who live a few decades after prophet death, vigorously assails Islam and Muhammad, but Muhammad didn’t exist.... ha ha ha.

Wow! This knowledge is golden. What a clever compilation of facts indeed! Thank you Paul for this. Its a jewel! I never knew that the Christians had such early sources of our beloved prophet Muhammad...May peace and blessings be apon him🙏
Excellent, Paul! Continue with your fantastic work. 👍🏾
Well the the birmingham Quran manuscript existed , so people who make such claims either ignorent or hate islam.
If thats your only proof his body could've been faked, you need a proof just like in the video
Jazak' ALLAH khair for your work br Paul.
Blessings 🙏

Don't take my word for it.....The leading British theologian Keith Ward (yes he is Christian, a REAL one) has much to say on the matter.
I'm no scholar but for lack of being a scholar, I appreciate a scholar ( like Paul from BLOGGING THEOLOGY ).

An interesting topic, it can get quite confusing at times but I’m glad you decided to tackle it. I’d suggest you focus more on the early origins of Islam, I believe it would be beneficial to have your contribution to the discussion
Yes it can be a bit confusing. I'm new to this only a few weeks into this. I know it will take a little time for me to fully understand.
Where can i find that scholar?
I wonder if that's why Jerusalem was their original holy place of prayer
That is a desperate question. That is a hopeless question. did John exist? the letter j did not exist at the time, so his name did not exist.
Such an honorable presentation style of our beloved Prophet. May Allah give you the greatest blessings for your honor and narrative methods. Ameen
May Allah open your eyes to the fact that a 50 year old man marrying a little girl is evil and should not be beloved.
The first 6 minutes show evidence against the traditional histories of Islam, and what follows is a very weak argument. Muhammad is hardly mentioned in the Quran, and Mecca not at all. If Muhammad existed, he did not come from Mecca.
Excellent bro Paul
Thanks
Very interesting video Mr. Paul. Thank you.
You are very welcome
Even if he existed his morals are very wrong with slave trading , sex slaves ,marrying his daughter in law zainab etc . I am not adding anything from me and all this things are mentioned in islamic books
Thank you for unfolding the reasonably accurate historical account of Prophet Muhammad saw.
One of the most interesting 7th century accounts about Prophet Muhammad is from Sebeos who was a Bishop of the House of Bagratunis.
Sebeos is the first non-Muslim author to present us with a theory for the rise of Islam that pays attention to what the Muslims themselves thought they were doing:
*At that time a certain man from along those same sons of Ishmael, whose name was Mụhammad, a merchant, as if by God's command appeared to them as a preacher and the path of truth. No one will be able to resist you in battle, because God is with you.*
*- R. G. Hoyland, Seeing Islam As Others Saw It: A Survey And Evaluation Of Christian, Jewish And Zoroastrian Writings On Early Islam, 1997, p. 129*
We can see that Sebeos knows plenty of personal information about Prophet Muhammad.
More knowledge, thank you Mr. Paul
The facts are all the early Quibla (the first century of Islam ) face the North and not the current site of Mecca
The facts are absolutely no archeology has been unearthed in Mecca to suggest there was anything substantial there prior to the 9th Century and that fact is there is no original Quran due to the fact Uthman burned large portions of what existed as the 3rd Caliph.
Can you debunk?
Peace be upon you Brother Paul
