Mike you are so easy to love. You have a knack for walking the fine line of respect for the victim, disdain for the criminal, & humor over the ridiculousness of the human condition.
What if it was a man in black. Or a demon. Or ghost. I mean odds are a lawyer and hit pet did some shit, fucked things up enough with their staging knowing the law well enough to evade punishment. Seems risky.
In a world full of AI narrators, you are a breath of fresh air. I love that you have kept your wit throughout the years and are respectful to the victims. This will forever be one of my favorite channels.
Mike is the only true crime channel that I watch on a regular basis. His videos are well-edited, and I like his sense of humor. I don't like Mr. Ballen.
The lack of blood seals the deal that these 3 are full of BS. It's literally impossible that scene hadn't been tampered with extensively. That second judge is insane.
The weirdest part about this is, if you were going to make up a lie to cover up a murder, why the hell would you say that you heard them come in but didn't hear them leave? Anyone with a single brain cell would say they heard the door chime on the way in and then the way out
I get called "SIr" all the time on the phone, lol I have a very deep contralto voice for a female. I just go along until they ask my first name...it's all good.
My thinking, just a possibility, is the men were still sky high off of the thrill of torturing their friend to death and the paramedics could smell that pure evil in the air. It's sort of a not well understood 6th sense about half of people have.
@@Endymion766 Yeah I've bet they've seen lots of people being weird at crime scenes. It's just a weird situation and people are going to be anxious and scared and robotic and odd. But scaring them? Especially when the victim is already dead? I'm 90% sure police have to secure the scene first in this kind of situation, so they should never be scared, especially indoors in a nice neighborhood. EMTs don't rattle like that either, especially in a city where they've probably been to some violent scenes. Just the guy who wouldn't face them... That would freak me out too. Something really wrong with an adult who acts like that.
The fact that his own man "stuff" was found inside him is one of the most messed up things about this whole thing. Definitely were right to feel freaked out.
Torture is not common, what's even more uncommon is that an intruder comes to a strangers house and takes his time torturing a man where 3 other men were.
I'd say almost unheard of. Usually if an intruder tortures and murders one person in a house, they kill everyone except sometimes they'll spare children. This case is infuriating.
And one of the men has these torture implements in his bedroom . I bet the ‘toys’ were never looked at by forensics . They were allowed to get away with m*rder .
I'm a nurse, just wondering if maybe they used succinylcholine. Paralytic agent that they use when they need to intubate someone. It's extremely hard to find on tox screens, and there is only one way to test for it. It leaves the body very quickly, in about an hour.
Sux was my thought too. Deadly, but remarkably easier to get than other agents, and hard to test for w/ short half life. A large IM dose would still work fine
That may depend on how easy it is for a civilian to even get it. Stuff like that probably isn't at your local grocery or hardware store, unless it's also used in common household items. Although the 3 were associated with someone going to medical school so that's the most likely way they could get it.
This one really creeped me out. The milking machine was what really the threw me over the edge. Something really creepy happened in that house. And I’m not really sure why no one’s gone down for it yet. People don’t just walk into houses, st*b people, wash them and then walk out without anyone knowing.
Milking machine?🐄😳 Either I missed that (how could I possibly?), or I haven't gotten to it yet...I stopped for a break after the "gas mask that you can pee into".😬 Ok, I put on my big girl panties and I'm going back in!💪🏼 Pray for me.
This is yet another inconsistency in the investigation. He was both "washed" but also had streaked blood on his chest? Which is it? Just like the cops claimed there was no blood on the body or in the room, but they also state he had blood on his chest and there is photographic evidence of blood on the bed. There is so much about this case that the cops totally messed up, but the fact that they repeatedly contradict themselves in their own investigation really is the final nail in the coffin. Maybe these guys did do it, maybe one of them did it, maybe it was actually an intruder. We will never know because these incompetent cops screwed everything up from the moment they arrived on the scene. And, having adult toys is not a crime, or evidence of committing a crime. The fact that so many people are relying entirely on that to claim guilt is quite disturbing.
@ct5625 I agree. Also, the obvious homophobia wouldn't have reassured any of them to be honest if one or more of them were valuable witnesses. I'm no bleeding heart liberal, but I was honestly shocked to see how they spoke to them. As soon as the detective said, "I've got three homosexuals in a house" . . . well I thought there goes the best opportunity you had for answers.
What a terrible interregator. All he does is accuse the men and yell at them. I think a more skilled interregator could have gotten one of them to crack.
the ones I saw in actual interagations are all dumb and dumber lost brothers. Basically all they have is: we are your best friends, you would want to let the people know your side of a story, you are a good guy, and we know you did it, if you tell us we will help you out. Rotate the phrases with slight variations and run on repeat until the dude gets tired. Only smart ones are in tv-shows.
One who was well-educated and way more patient. No platitudes of fake b.s. Straight to the point. These "roomates" were intelligent and educated, you need same on the other side to mirror them.
It was also the strategy of not doing the jury trial. You have one person to plead the case too, and not 12. Usually harder for the defendant, unless they know how to create confusion of who it is. Hence the verdict.
That's fine but they will pay the piper. They will regret their evil wickedness once they are done in the world. The world they had plenty of time to turn from their evil ways but once they are expired no amount of money will save them believe that! Believe that!
@@Fatimaezzahra11 they weren't homicide lawyers. I blame the investigators. No matter what the theory is about what happened that night, there WOULD have been some evidence left over in some way. They were either too incompetent to look or too overconfident to think they couldn't break the suspects.
Those three guys know exactly what happened. I think this was primarily done by Dylan Ward, covered up by Joseph Price, and painfully witnessed by Victor
@@Jamietheroadrunner man idk. The Prosecutors podcast suggested Dylan might have initiated it as a test of Price's submission and it somehow got out of hand
The paramedics also hit the panic / emergency button on their radio btw which triggered an immediate police response to the scene even more than what was already coming to the area.
People are putting too much emphasis on this. Feelings are not evidence. Retrospective emotions are not evidence. Being "creeped out" when you find a murdered person in a house with three men is not at all unreasonable, only in RETROSPECT is this being blown out of proportion for dramatic purposes.
It was an alarm from the phone call to the point that it was “investigated”. May he rest in peace and his wife have some kind of peace as well because there is no reason why all 3 of them shouldn’t have been convicted in some manner. A cleaned up crime scene, his own DNA inside of him? I don’t know who did it but there is no way that this could happen with those 3 in the house…..oh yeah, “allegedly “.
The same neurotic person who kept that house squeaky clean is the one who made those perfect wounds and also made sure blood didn't get everywhere. This was methodical.
@@longarmoftheOOHLALA Lol I don’t think they meant the person physically cleaning the house, but rather who had the high standard for cleanliness & maintained the house that way…
@@chrisragona3945 I would guess in the hopes that the detectives would not look for the real knife. If they have the murder weapon, they would not be looking for a murder weapon.
Yes but couldn't the story about running downstairs as soon as they heard "grunts" have been proven to be untrue with a coroners estimation of time of death? (I agree that your scenario is the only one that makes rational sense but the story they came up doesn't mark out the time necessary to wash down Robert's body and it sounds like forensics knew that his body had been washed down. Maybe the real story lies with the identity of the father of one of those guys - maybe one of their fathers called in a favor?)
During the 23:00 interrogation he said they all had drinks. He then later proceeds to say the victim doesnt drink....Before he even said this I was thinking the detective should of stopped and asked what drink everyone had, or at least what Robert had. It may not be the most damning evidence but at least you'd be able to catch him in a lie.
It would be difficult to catch them on that one: after a few evenings of drinking together, they would already know what each person's favorite drink was, so it would be easy to say, "His usual Scotch and Grape Soda," or whatever it was.
Victor is the key to solving this murder. Since he's the only one who didn't change his name, he's probably the innocent one. Now that he and Joseph are no longer together, the police should get him to talk by"tickling the wire," i e., make him nervous, get him to talk, and record it. This case is definitely solvable.
@@dessertstorm7476that's some strange logic- usually, people get very angry when killers DO change their name and rightly so. A person will change their name themselves or witness protection sometimes pays foe an entire new life and identity. Of course not all cases are of guilty parties, some are endangered witnesses but it's definitely something guilty people do and imo, in many cases it can put the public at risk because it can mean communities are unaware of predators living in their midst... Him not changing his name is more likely to suggest he feels he doesn't have anything to hide. I immediately thought so when Mike told us about the others changing their names. I do believe he could be the one to divulge what happened and guess what? They can still be charged if it was first degree because there's no statute of limitations on first degree whereas there is for second degree although some states differ snd I'm british so not totally sure which states stand where in that. Let's all hope that Robert- and his widow - can receive justice and that these depraved reprobates get what's coming to them.
@WakeyWakeyEggsandBakey Agreed! I also think Victor is innocent of the murder, but knows who did it, because he wasn't supposed to be home that night. Now that he's away from Joseph, maybe he can be manipulated into talking.
Definitely a case of “who is mostly likely to be innocent” and my bet is also Victor. Wasn’t supposed to be there and got shooed away from the crime scene. Either Dylan did it alone & Joseph used his legal knowledge and even possibly got his medically knowledgeable brother to help cover for him, or it was a conspiracy between these two (Dylan & Joseph) or three (the brother, not Victor). I think they’re hiding things from Victor and even he doesn’t have enough definitive proof to offer the evidence that cracks the case back open. Interesting they’ve all gone their separate ways now, makes me wonder if Joseph & his brother are still close….someone has to crack eventually, especially with (confirmed) distance between most of them now. This case is haunting and I pray it is resolved eventually.
This one haunts me, too. It's impossible! But obviously, it's not, it happened. I do think one or some seemed good enough friends for him to stay there. What happened???
Horrible. So much of the circumstantial evidence points to one (or all three) of the individuals INSIDE the house perpetrating this ghastly crime. Further, NONE of the three men were TERRIFIED that this intruder would return. As an innocent person, I would have been scared to death.
I still keep going back to how the 3 guys were behaving when the EMT's got there. You KNOW they've seen a LOT of weird, creepy and horrible things in their careers. But this one had their hair standing up. Creepy as hell.
do you know which channel talked about what the EMT saw in detail? I only heard one channel say none of the men showed them where Robert was and they just stood there. (edit: I found an article detailing what EMTs said)
💯. I'm liking and replying to your comment not only because you're right, but also because more people/everyone need to hear about this. More should be made of this, but from what I've seen the focus/interest/speculation is mostly on the sexual/sadistic aspect of the case. Human nature, I guess.
The one guy said dude showered because he was sticky. 🤮 And why nobody is questioning how his sperms got into his own ass? Let’s think about that for a minute.
@@stepheng1523 Another inconsistency. Why wouldn't they use a weapon that WASN'T THEIRS? Why wouldn't they actually open the back gate? Why wouldn't they just not find the body until the morning? Why would they clean up the room? Seems to me people have just decided that everything is "evidence" of guilt even when it contradicts other things they claim is evidence of guilt. Both the act and lack of the act can't both be evidence of guilt. The cops did the same thing throughout the investigation. They claimed the blood was evidence, then the lack of blood was evidence, then the cleaned up body was evidence, then the blood smears on the chest (of the cleaned up body?) was evidence.
I just absolutely LOATHE stories like that that are SO mysterious and weird and yet we KNOW for 100% that THREE PEOPLE know what happened that night - and aren't talking. omg, it's so frustrating.
“THREE PEOPLE know what happened that night”?? What are you taking about. Joseph and Victor don’t know what happened, as is evident from *their police interviews. Even though they are clearly very intelligent men, they cannot fathom that Dylan murdered their friend, even though it’s the only logical explanation. I fully believe that Joseph and Victor are being truthful in their interviews, and do not come across as people who are trying to cover anything up. Dylan is absolutely guilty. (EDIT for clarification: I’m referring to *their police interviews in their entirety, not just the clips which are used here.)
I hate unsolved cases as well. Also, "rant" and "clearly and absoultly guilty" talking down to you is crazy and a little 👀 because their thoughts are just like yours, an opinion. Which everyone is entitled to including you.. why do people forget this so often?!
@@LordOfThePancakesThis is a comment section on a UA-cam video. This is where everyone has a rant, that’s what it’s all about. Otherwise why have a comment section at all?
Got away with it even with such a crazy murder scene that no intruder could have pulled off (time between supposed "grunts" and two of the guys running immediately downstairs).
@@RHCollectoryeah straight up I think the incompetence in this case is a mixture of homophobia and not wanting to get involved with it too much, you know how straight men are “do what you want but I don’t want to see it or hear about it.” ontop of racism and not seeing his life as valuable as they would if he was a white guy…. It’s fucked up.

"The police really effed this one up the A.." 😂 (42:10 or thereabout) I'm surprised he didn't say "no pun intended" because I know there's no way he could have missed that one, considering he reviews and edits stuff 😂😂
Yeah, hurriedly throwing in details and/or justifications when you’re calling in a murder has sort of become the hallmark of the red herring-dangling killer, hasn’t it? 🙄
@@jonslg240that definitely would’ve been funny, but with the subject being what it was, I could kinda see why he didn’t. Awhile back, people were giving him shit for joking around while talking about these cases.
I feel like the police messed this one up so bad. I think all the gaps and lack of evidence is due to police incompetency. Its a shame this poor victim was let down so bad even after the horrific crime.
It’s probably the worst police department in the nation. Corrupt and incompetent is just the beginning of the description. I know people who worked there and they fled at the first opportunity to one of the surrounding departments. Sickening the amount of incompetence and flagrant criminal behavior.
I'm not supposed to laugh but... I did. Then the detective 'I got 3 homosexuals in a house with 1 straight guy. What's he doing over there?' Why is everyone being so comical?
sending the one guy upstairs to call police is very suspicious. they're definitely lying about the door, grunts, and discovering the body, which had no blood despite being stabbed 3 times, they were covering up some serious kink whether intentional or not.
How was there "no blood" when you literally see blood on the bed? How was there simultaneously "no blood" when they also state that there was blood on his chest with smear marks that they claim indicated an attempt to clean up? You can't have it both ways, and neither can the incompetent cops. You can't say "this thing is evidence", and also "this completely contradictory thing that nullifies the first is also evidence". It's one or the other.
I agree this case, JonBenet Ramsey and Ellen Greenberg are all cases that I really want to be solved. This and Ellen because we know who did it and the people are getting away with it based on bullshit. But, how is there no blood? The bed should be soaked with blood unless the killed him in the shower. They need the Dr. Henry Lee from OJ Case who had them check the shower drains for blood to do the same here. Why would an intruder come in, kill one man clean all the blood, not kill the other 3 men and steal stuff. Utter. Bull. Shit.
Victor looked and sounded traumatized, in the 911 phone call, the operator called him 'ma'am' a few times, normally, someone would correct them if they were not in a panic, but sounds like he was in a daze. I can't vouch for the other two, they sounded like they definitely know more.
That is interesting. Did the police consider that maybe the killers injected Robert with an empty syringe ? Or they were trying to draw blood from him but air got into the syringe and bloodstream and killed him?
@@MarsMellow84 I'd think that supposedly someone with an ability to actually draw blood (a phlebotomist), would be able to do the deed. An individual fairly inexperienced in drawing blood, however let alone someone unknowledgeable in administering an inoculation would be a much riskier person to allow doing this kind of event as well. Regardless of the giving (or taking away) of fluids into a person.
As if there aren't individuals that creep into homes and murder someone and then slip into the night...If three devious masterminds killed thier friend why would they call the police? They could've reported things as stolen and also made a mess to make it look like a robbery. The victim could've been attacked while he was sleeping.
Admitting to hearing him "grunt" or scream, is admitting they did it or at the very least, know who did it. Three holes in his chest but no blood nearby? Guarantees a cleanup and they KNOW who did it.
Speaking here as a trades skills expert, no blood there suggests his heart wasn’t beating at the time of the stabbing. Punctured lines don’t eject liquid while the pump is off and there’s no substantial pressure
I live in the suburbs and recall this case on the local news. Immediately, I thought it was the roommates. There is no way that that sort of thing could happen and they didn’t see something. It had to be them. Or one of them anyway, and to top it all off, they’ve gotten away with murder.
Imo Dylan accidentally killed him. The stabbing was just to make it look like an intruder did it. The death was accidental by pressure on the neck arteries and that’s why the stabbing had minimal bleeding… it was done after the fact in a panic. Just speculation of course.
Good theory. I like it better than my own. So you think he was dead long enough for the blood in his system to coagulate and then his corpse was stabbed to make it look like he was attacked. That would explain why there was no bleeding. Could be. But I'd think he'd have to be dead for a real long time for that to work. On the other hand, that could explain the mysterious punctures on his neck. A phlebotomist might be knowledgable enough to pierce the skin to see if the bleeding times were decreasing. After a while, there would be no bleeding, and that would be the time to sink the knife into the chest.
@@michellemeredith8351 I think the coroner said he digested his own blood. I never heard of someone metabolizing his own blood. But close enough, you are correct. Maybe he bit his lip or tongue while being suffocated and he swallowed the blood at the beginning of the attack.
Not a theory, just a comment -- it is very hard to test for GHB in a tox screen. Just because they didn't find it, doesn't mean it wasn't there. I'm not suggesting he was drugged with GHB, I'm just saying there is no way to rule it out. It metabolizes much too quickly, but also, it's not something you would typically inject.
Good thought. I was also contemplating whether they could have injected him with air. Might explain the burst blood vessels in his eyes and possibly other evidence as well. Only speculating.
@@LordOfThePancakesnot him, but I’ve been drugged with GHB myself and it makes you black out and lose control of your muscles. It is scary. Don’t take drinks from strangers.
@@LordOfThePancakesI have been watching true crime for decades. There was a rapist in SoCal, a beach city that used GHB. It been covered for 15 years at least. If I remember they sent some samples out of the country for testing. They used to send some of these toxicology tests to Denmark or Norway as their equipment was better. Technology improves and it depends on the quality of equipment being used. I was thinking chloroform or nitrous oxide, but I know nothing about how gases register in a tox screen.
That 9-11 call was ridiculous. Not trying to whisper at all while claiming he *thinks* there's an intruder in the house. Then "Oh yeah, the intruder has one of our knives". The intruder he *thinks* exists, but knows has one of their knives. Very believable.
That was one of the red flags- he used one of our knives, while "ventilating". Did they all run to the kitchen to see if their knives were missing, and the lame-ass "prop" of a knife on the dressing table.
@@reignman30 He saw the knife before he called 911. Remember, he went downstairs and saw the body and the knife before he was sent upstairs to call the police. Just something to think about.
@@fallenangel7884 Yeah, but killers don't enter someone's house, use one of the household knives against a very specific individual in a very specific room, then leave. When you add in the additional evidence, that the stab wounds were slow presses rather than violent stabs, there was no resistance and it took long enough that there was blood in the digestive tract, none of their story makes sense.

No! Congrats to you for the stats! I do contend, however, that there's a higher count out there, but I'll leave it to you, Count Zaddy to find & compute Mike's turds for us. 🤓💩😂
Who's to say that they didn't put the night guard in to make it look like he was in bed when he died? We're talking about a high-powered lawyer who would know these things,
Exactly. If it appears they did other stuff to cover themselves (switching the knife, cleaning things, showering, getting rid of the one used), why not this too. Its pretty obvious it would point to an intruder surprising him in his sleep (and I seriously dont believe the "intruder-commits-a-random-act-of murder in a house full of other ppl AND leaves in record time" theory).
You know, that theory about the needle marks being used to drain him actually makes a lot of sense, considering how little was actually found. It's doubtful he was alive when stabbed as blood pressure causes blood to spray from wounds like that. They would have had to scrub the place more thoroughly than would be possible.
Yeah but they also said that he had blood in his intestines indicating internal bleeding. This feels like the type of case where there are super minute details which likely weren’t mentioned in this video which may cancel out some scenarios
Reasons this channel is amazing and you need to sub 1. Mike a real person with a great personality and amazing accent. 2. The cases are well covered 3. Gives credit where credit is due 4. His shirts are always amazing ❤️
Yeah that seems like the most glaring piece of evidence suggesting. Multiple deep stab wounds that severed arteries would a ridiculous amount of blood. The fact that two of them were still wet from the shower and the only blood was a tiny spot on the towel means someone brought him to the bathroom and cleaned him and themselves. Also him having his own “DNA” inside of him points to some twisted kink and not a random break in/murder. The downstairs roomate for sure drugged him, did some horrific stuff and then either intentionally killed him or accidentally and tried covering it up.
@@thtswhtshesai6d9 I know, I was also thinking some bizarre kink, but then thinking further I came up with this possibility... What if you are playing with another male partner, in an act of arousal you get your sperm on the other mans condom sheathed body part. Later on in another act of debauchery that condom situation winds up in your buttocks smearing your own sperm in there and none from the person who delivered it since THEIR sperm and DNA was captured inside the condom??? ...and what if they even had you put their condom on for them so their hands never even touched the condom? again, just a thought

I'm with you. The lack of blood and the clean-up is absolutely stunning. Was Robert in the shower at some point too? So all the blood went down the drain?
I mean, Michael Price was literally studying to be a phlebotomist (the technician who draws blood from patients). He also had a key to get in, and wasn’t in class that night?

@@ssllsg9439I think the arguments more in these super stressful situations like this that the “normal” human reaction is more panic and less details and the cases where people are innocent they bascially scream at the dispatcher to “get somone here now!!” And that’s it. Details have to be dragged out of them because in these cases they are in a state of utter panic and stress. Oh cmon. The amount of blood, no foot prints? Someone cleaned the scene. You need time to clean the scene. Who has more time than a resident? No signs of forced entry. Cmon.
Paramedic suggestion: If (somehow) someone managed to inject him with a paralytic; If somebody got their hands on a neuromuscular blocking agent, like succinylcholine, the victim would have suffocated death without moving. You see, in movies people are injected with paralytics and they can’t move but they can still breathe. But that’s not really how it works. Paralytics paralyse the muscles that are needed for breathing. Whoever injected him may not have known that and been surprised. Once the perpetrator discovered he was dead he could have stabbed him to make it look like an intentional murder. if he was already dead, he wouldn’t not have bled very much.
I think you’re right! Also succinylcholine can only be detected in the blood for about 10 minutes after it wears off. So they wouldn’t have found it in a tox screen.
@@louise2467 Maybe simply to “muddy the waters”. If it was a sex thing (consensual or not), if he had simply stopped breathing, considering all the sex toys and other circumstantial evidence, it would have been a more straightforward case and easier to charge and perhaps even convict. But by introducing the “some other guy did it” into the equation and making everything so weird and confusing, they actually covered it up.
This case has haunted me for years. You had more information than I had heard in a few cases but you left out the milking machine. I feel so bad for the victim and his wife, and I am so upset that the police ruined crucial evidence.
It is a machine for...yeah. The substance in men that could have a vague similarity to milk. It's used in kinky situations, such as two of the suspects were into. Clearly used on the victim for deviant sexual acts.

Anyone with a single brain cell would say they heard the door chime on the way in and then the way out
If his heart wasn't beating, it wouldn't be pumping blood out. I think poor Robert was dead before he was stabbed.

@@tinkere7243how did the blood get into his intestines then?
It takes a lot to scare a paramedic; they see a lot and get to be pretty unflappable. If they were freaked there was something really wrong.
Yeah especially there!
Absolutely🎉
Exactly 💯
Pretty sure there’s never been a case where an intruder got a victim’s semen inside their rectum!
And one of the men has these torture implements in his bedroom . I bet the ‘toys’ were never looked at by forensics . They were allowed to get away with m*rder .
But it was not an intruder, and there were not 3 men there.
Just sayin'

These interrogators are complete idiots. Period
This one really creeped me out. The milking machine was what really the threw me over the edge. Something really creepy happened in that house. And I’m not really sure why no one’s gone down for it yet. People don’t just walk into houses, st*b people, wash them and then walk out without anyone knowing.
Milking machine?🐄😳
Either I missed that (how could I possibly?), or I haven't gotten to it yet...I stopped for a break after the "gas mask that you can pee into".😬
Ok, I put on my big girl panties and I'm going back in!💪🏼
Pray for me.
How did i miss the milking machine?! Hmm... I wonder if that's how his own DNA got inside him? So weird.
Maybe it was the brother who had a key.
Jim Smith could have done it.
Watching this was painful.
the ones I saw in actual interagations are all dumb and dumber lost brothers. Basically all they have is: we are your best friends, you would want to let the people know your side of a story, you are a good guy, and we know you did it, if you tell us we will help you out. Rotate the phrases with slight variations and run on repeat until the dude gets tired. Only smart ones are in tv-shows.
Came to the comments to say this halfway through - genuinely painful to watch. No wonder this is unsolved, the interrogator is useless
One who was well-educated and way more patient. No platitudes of fake b.s. Straight to the point. These "roomates" were intelligent and educated, you need same on the other side to mirror them.
The fact that these 3 guys aren't in prison is unbelievable. I guess money really does buy your freedom.... Great channel Mike!!!!!
Spoiler alert!! 😂😂
It was also the strategy of not doing the jury trial. You have one person to plead the case too, and not 12. Usually harder for the defendant, unless they know how to create confusion of who it is. Hence the verdict.
They're lawyers so they knew exactly what to do
That's fine but they will pay the piper.

@@Fatimaezzahra11 they weren't homicide lawyers. I blame the investigators. No matter what the theory is about what happened that night, there WOULD have been some evidence left over in some way.
The moment your story changes from. "The knife was on the counter or something" to "I pulled the knife out of him" should raise endless alarms
It did raise alarms but you still can’t prove he did anything.
That's what I thought too
It was an alarm from the phone call to the point that it was “investigated”.
You can say the alarms were so endless that they were charged for it. Right??

Cops just couldn’t get past their own homophobia to actually do a through investigation. It’s a shame❤
Agree
During the 23:00 interrogation he said they all had drinks. He then later proceeds to say the victim doesnt drink....Before he even said this I was thinking the detective should of stopped and asked what drink everyone had, or at least what Robert had. It may not be the most damning evidence but at least you'd be able to catch him in a lie.
Omg you're right! 😫
NOW I'm annoyed he didn't do that.
This case is definitely solvable.
to me it just makes him seem like the most brazen one. Maybe he feels the least shame because he's the worst one?
I absolutely thought the same thing.

Exactly why ask him to do it upstairs
How was there "no blood" when you literally see blood on the bed?
How was there simultaneously "no blood" when they also state that there was blood on his chest with smear marks that they claim indicated an attempt to clean up?
You can't have it both ways, and neither can the incompetent cops.

Regardless of the giving (or taking away) of fluids into a person.
As if there aren't individuals that creep into homes and murder someone and then slip into the night...If three devious masterminds killed thier friend why would they call the police? Imo Dylan accidentally killed him. The stabbing was just to make it look like an intruder did it. The death was accidental by pressure on the neck arteries and that’s why the stabbing had minimal bleeding… it was done after the fact in a panic. Just speculation of course.
My same exact thoughts.
But the post mortem showed he was alive long enough after the stabbing to metabolise his own blood. None of it makes sense.
All these replies are legitimate!
The investigators were clowns.
@@michellemeredith8351 I think the coroner said he digested his own blood. I never heard of someone metabolizing his own blood. But close enough, you are correct. Maybe he bit his lip or tongue while being suffocated and he swallowed the blood at the beginning of the attack.
Congratulations on your 2 Million my favourite Irish boy. Much love. ❤ xx
I thought he was Scottish lolololol
My favourite Irish boy is Andrew Scott. But Mike is kind of adorable as well.
Kind of crazy that Coffeehouse Crime and That Chapter both reached 2 million followers at almost exactly the same time.

Sounds like they killed Robert and agreed amongst themselves to stick to the same story. I would bet all 3 were in on it.
True.
I’d personally never trust a gang of homosexuals and certainly wouldn’t stay with them in any place overnight.
How would you know..? Got some experience using the substance to incapacitate others do ya?
@@LordOfThePancakesnot him, but I’ve been drugged with GHB myself and it makes you black out and lose control of your muscles. It is scary. Don’t take drinks from strangers.
av injected it before ....
much more potent than drinking it 💯💯
@@LordOfThePancakesI have been watching true crime for decades.
Yeah he never came down stairs, so how would he know it was a stabbing and that a knife was missing?
@@reignman30 OMG. I never even thought of that. Ok, now I'm really freaked out. Lol.

i’ve heard this story damn near a million times but i can’t wait to hear your telling of it. it’s the kind of case that sticks with you. it’s so surreal
Thank you so much! It’s one I’ve wanted to cover for such a long time for sure but there’s so much in it I needed to take my time. I hope I did a good enough job!
23:28 realizes "he was all sticky" was such a giveaway and instantly and momentarily realizes what he said...
Right and the cops didn’t even ask about what could’ve made him sticky. SMH. Horrible interrogation
In this episode, Mike said “tree (3),” “turteen (13),” “turty (30),” and “turd (3rd)” thirty-one times. I believe that’s a record high. Congrats!
That's turdy one times, thank you very much 😊
@@spiderboo464lol!!!
No! Congrats to you for the stats! I do contend, however, that there's a higher count out there, but I'll leave it to you, Count Zaddy to find & compute Mike's turds for us. 🤓💩😂
I counted turty tree, but I could be off two or tree.
@@hollyharris1874😂😂 too funny! I love Mike, and all his turds!
It’s hard to believe they got away with this. Unreal.
when ever that happens you know those involved are in the Brotherhood. classic masonic ritual.
Yes.
R.I.P. Robert.
Reasons this channel is amazing and you need to sub
1. Mike a real person with a great personality and amazing accent.
2. The cases are well covered
3. Gives credit where credit is due
4. His shirts are always amazing ❤️
And, the cases are REAL! Too many “true crime” channels are popping up that are all AI generated.

Congratulations Mike on 2 million, well deserved. Been following you for years and watched the show develop, it's been a great journey so far.
I remember when Mike only had 100 000 followers. Now at 2 mil. Go on Mike we love ya
Yeah.. I'm one of the "old ones" too. Love seeing this channel grow ❤
I'm still bothered by the lack of blood. Did he even die in that room? He shouldn't even have finished dying when the cops arrived.
@@thtswhtshesai6d9I watch Bailey Syrians video years ago on this and the mentioned all the toys the guys had was like a milking machine almost and it made the person ejaculate, im assuming even involuntary. Could that be a possible as to why its inside himself?
I'm with you. The lack of blood and the clean-up is absolutely stunning. Was Robert in the shower at some point too? So all the blood went down the drain?
I mean, Michael Price was literally studying to be a phlebotomist (the technician who draws blood from patients). He also had a key to get in, and wasn’t in class that night?
I totally believe the detectives messed this case up from the get go, but don’t they call in CSI people to perform the Luminol testing? Just messed up All the way around, even during the interrogations with each person; kept pressing the point of having “3 homosexuals & one heterosexual in the house” I didn’t understand where the detective thought he was going with that line of questioning🤦🏼♀️

Mentioning the door chime on the 911 call is such unnecessary information. That seems to be a common thing the guilty party does. Whenever I hear something like that, I immediately get suspicious
well,if my TV went missing, and 30 min before it gone missing,i heard the door chime ringing...i would associate it to the theft,no?

Ok but why not just leave him as “stopped breathing”. Why stab him which is obvs. V suss? Thanks for your skills and knowledge btw.
Did I hear the story wrong or did the paramedics just run into an active crime scene with no police on scene yet?
