    • @mommy2libras
      @mommy2libras Рік тому +17

      To be fair, it is Florida and for about half the year, many of us are covered in bites. Everything bites here. And some people have worse reactions to some bites than others. My teenager used to get actual welts from just regular mosquito bites up until they were about 7 or 8. However, I'm guessing the officer could see him covered with so many because no one attended to them- the boy apparently was allowed to wander outside at will meaning he'd have been eaten up- and scratching them with dirty hands makes them become actual sores, sometimes getting infected. Or possible bed bug infestation. Or both.

    • @kentario1610
      @kentario1610 Рік тому +3

      @@mommy2libras I notice I had more severe reactions to bites in my childhood (very itchy where now they're just barely itchy if I leave them alone) so I agree with that, and just hope it was outside bugs and not indoors bugs, for some silver lining to all this.

      I was in a similar situation as a child. My ex stepdad got drunk, got in a fight with my mom who was 8 months pregnant at the time, she tried to call the cops, he broke all the phones so i managed to escape and get help a quarter mile down the road at the nearest neighbors. Fortunately he didn't think to grab my grandfather's guns that my mom inherited, or a knife or something. I don't remember much after the ambulance and cops came.
      Looking back on it now we were incredibly lucky that he didn't kill us.
      But she did take him back after he got out of jail... He eventually eloped with a sex offender.

His anger was palpable and understandable given what he'd just witnessed, but the reality is, he shouldn't have said it as the police's objective is always to get as much information as they can out of a suspect before they invoke their right to a lawyer, by being friendly towards them and gaining their trust.

    Some of us are just deeply unlucky to have had horrible parents, as a child abuse survivor who’s been fully no contact with my mother for several years, that abuse doesn’t really leave you, your idea of “normal” is deeply warped, and going through therapy and being medicated only helps a little but you still gotta love with that trauma. Some parents don’t deserve their kids, but every kid deserves a loving parent.

      I’m so sorry. Well done going NC. I went NC the second I turned 18. Drove to the police station and made a full report on my egg donour. I then, finally, got to see my biological dad who helped me get NCO’s on everyone on my maternal side of bloodline. He got me in therapy straight away but I’d already started my career with the US government. My therapy was sneaking into the Kremlin and dazzling daft men into giving me loads of information. Going to Central and South America to pick off the filth. Somalia was an absolute joy to visit, insert sarcasm. Desert Storm, Desert Eagle, the list goes on. I’m not your typical female. Been happily married for 26+ years to an amazing man with two gorgeous, precious (adult now) children. Still go to therapy as a maintenance check up. You can break the chain. You are strong and worthy of a beautiful, full life. Say it to yourself every day over and over. Don’t let the evil win. A life well lived will crush them. Believe me, I’ve watched that entire side self destruct from afar. No drama here. No yelling. No walking on eggshells. No violence. Loads of laughter and joy. Blessings to you ❤❤

      Totally and completely free in the UK (you also get 39 paid weeks off plus additional funding when you adopt a child here), as is adopting children from social care in the US. It's only expensive in America when you want a brand new little baby. Clray123 is right. There are hundreds of thousands of children who are wards of the state with no possibility of reunification with their birth families, but everyone wants a surrogate or to take a baby from its birth mother as soon as it's born. Those poor older children don't get a look in most of the time.

    Update for y’all: the first one of the toddler in the street, yea the parents were arrested and the child went into social care. Much isn’t known beyond that as to allow him privacy but the parents are rotting in jail.
    Second with the man who killed his 3 boys, his trial date is set for next year but I don’t see him getting out of at least life, tho I think he deserves lethal injection.
    And lastly the one of Logan, it still isn’t officially stated about the events that happened during the unaliving, but Craig should never have been put in his step father John’s care because the kid even told his foster family (that he was with when his mother a-salted him) that he wanted to unalive Logan. John raised Craig from the age of 9mo and clearly the boy had racist mindset as well as mental issues that were documented before. I personally believe that Craig was the one that beat Logan at first for maybe a broken stereo (that was reported in the investigation) and the John joined in and finished the task of beating the little kiddo to death (as was stated he had 63 blunt force traumas to his little body). I believe the mother was not awake at the time as a neighbor heard arguing between and man and woman at 5ish am (the two guys had removed the body just shortly before 3 am) about the disappearance of her son. BUT instead of calling the police to have John and Craig arrested, she called to play the role of a mother who’s son had vanished to cover up the unaliving done by the two psychos she lived with. All in all, their sentences were very deserved.

    My cousin worked full time and had three kids. Her husband only worked about four months out of the year. I’d go to their house and they had sheets over the kitchen door and the pass through window so you couldn’t see the mess it was. We’d offer to clean it up but she’d just break down and sob that it would just get filthy again. I can’t imagine being that overwhelmed

    • @Katfishforrent
      @Katfishforrent Рік тому +18

      So, she refused the help? This is very common with overwhelmed parents. This has happened with my sister at one point. since her childrens father wasn't much help, while she worked full time, the house just became a mess, and she would be way too exhausted after working long hrs as a waitress and working a second job. Anyway, we would offer to help when she was home, and she would break down and say that it was pointless because the kids and father wouldn't just make it a mess again. (she was never mad at the kids for making messes, they were babies. The father made the bulk of the messes.) Anyway, we ended up just showing up to clean when she was at work. We would come back every month or so to do it all over again. Though, it wouldn't be so bad because after we got the initial thorough cleaning, it made it easier for her to keep up with most of the house, except the kitchen. Where the father would just make food, and leave the mess out, and never clean the dishes.
      Being overwhelmed, and the thought of it being pointless to clean, knowing your partner isn't going to help. Can make them just shut down and give up. We told her that it may be the case, that it'll just get dirty again, that it's ok, and what's important is the time they will have while it's clean, even if for a short time. The kids deserve and need to have a clean home to live in, to thrive. We felt that it may have just enabled the father to continue being lazy, which we were ok with, as long as my nephew's were living in a clean environment,and my sister wasn't overwhelmed and could focus her attention on the kids instead of stressing about the house when she did have time off.
      Everything eventually worked out in the end. And we would do it again if necessary. We've always been told by our elders, that it takes a village to raise children. Which we wholeheartedly believe in. I truly hope your cousin eventually got thru this bump in the road. With a caring family that you seem to be, I am sure she did:)

    Something I wish was there when I was there when I had my traumatic experience. Body cams didn't exist when police made the decision for me to go back in with my dad. Even though he was the monster in my life and It's the year 2000, I had to tell the police to put me in foster care. Thanks for sharing the stories, I've been watching for a long time and there's good to come out of these stories you narrate.

      ❤ hope you are safe now, and finding healing...healthy can feel uncomfortable when you are physiologically primed for attack and chaos, and it can be actual hard work to "unteach" your body and mind the lessons you were raised on...surviving and escaping are just the beginning, I hope you find the beauty in the world

    Those poor babies, the blonde brothers and handsome little Logan… rest in peace little buddies.
    It truly hurts my heart to know there are people in this world who could do such reprehensible things to innocent little children

    I could never be a police officer because of things like this. I do not know if I would be able to contain my anger if I came across some of these situations. The only comfort I can find in this situation is knowing that the other inmates in jail will take care of parents like this

    I'm so glad you're back and also that I'm visiting my family in Brazil which means receiving your videos 3 hours earlier than I would have if I was in Dublin! You rock 🤎🇧🇷

    17:47 as a mother I don’t think I could go on living after experiencing the tragic loss of 3 children. Absolutely heart breaking.

      That's what he wants her to do. At that point you have to live forever just to spite him
