I'm trusting the process. Based on their record for the past 20 years, it seems like the Saints always bounce back. I think that is due to always having high character guys on their teams. 2024 might be a pretty amazing year for the Saints despite what some fans and sports commentary thinks. WhoDat!!!

I like us to win double digit games and the division. We would have to EXECUTE on offense. The system is designed to hide flaws and maximize the athleticism of players. The defense isn’t really a concern given positive health.

Saints arent obsessed with mediocrity even when the saints only won 7 games ' they were still one or two games from the playoffs and the next year by like one game saints are right there. they just gotta stop choking, thats what the issue is, its not like the team is convincingly getting slammed they are competitive lol

If the saints play like I think they can 12-13 wins is certainly on the table they can sweep the division beat the teams they should and realistically be 50-50 on the toss up games

I don't see how people get so stuck on the Cowboys and Eagles after how their seasons ended. Yes I do not believe we're going to beat them both but I got us winning at least one. With that said I believe we go 2-3 within the first 5 weeks. I still got us going 10-7 and we lose to the Browns, Packers, Falcons, Bucs, Chiefs, Cowboys/Eagles and Chargers.🤔⚜️

@@jarelljenkins3392 I know. For the first half of the season we boosted their egos. They was going off of the fact that they somehow over came a tough defense like ours while dropping game after game. That's all they had until they beat the Chiefs in a suspect upset.

Pete Carmichael wasn't the same without Sean Payton and didn't want this job anymore.
Saints fans seem to forget that even under Payton, we had four 7-9 seasons. And three of those were all in a row. Not counting the 2012 season since Payton was suspended that year.
Wild to think a team with Payton and Brees could go 7-9 three years in a row.
the difference is that Sean proved that he could coach at a high level. DA hasn't.

Between head coach Dennis Allen and Derrick Carr there are 15 NFL seasons and zero playoff wins.

@@SportsBeerJokes you know that Carr got angry at Olave bc he wasn't running his route properly, right? That he had talked to Olave about it several times in private, and it was still happening? So he confronted him publicly bc it was killing plays. Olave admitted to it.....and not so coincidentally, the pass game improved drastically after that.
In fact, it wasn't "the offense" that improved with complimentary FB over the last 5 weeks, it was the pass game. Carr specifically, who was an absolute monster over those games. The whole "garbage teams" argument is BS too, bc they all had good to damn good defenses. The fact Carr played that well despite having zero run game to keep defenses on their toes should remove all doubt any saints fans had about him. He carried the offense. He was the best QB in the NFL over those last 5 games. The most TD's, best TD/int ratio, and was also the best RZ QB in that time. All while they were in "lose and you're out of the playoffs" mode. Some fans clearly don't appreciate how well he played last season.

Looking past the Raiders is just Kool-aid... That could go the other way. It's exactly what folks are saying about the Saints. The Raiders got weapons and fire. The playoffs are going through New Orleans for the Raiders, Eagles, Rams, and Browns. Those teams will ALL be hungry. Let alone, it's week 17...

@@geoffhoutman1557 Pretty sure he's saying that the Saints path to making the playoffs in 2024 goes through the regular season games against Eagles, Rams, Browns, and Raiders. He views those as the 'toss up' games that the Saints need to win to make it.
