Thanks ! This is one of my favorites from Kevin's channel. I have friends who play strings and have actually tried it myself. The tone he gets from that instrument is heavenly. Most string players have the occasional squeaky note because it's so hard to move that bow from string to string and position it at just the perfect location and angle. I hear Kevin squeak now and then on a live performance, but mostly all his notes sound perfect.
Kevin has a wide variety of videos on his channel, though not a huge number of them, going back to his college days before PTX. He experiments with new techniques, playing cello and celloboxing, solo and with other musicians, looping, multiple versions and remixes. He even has a 6-video series where he talks about his biography and how he got involved in music. Though since the baby came about 3 years ago he has only had time for video shorts. 😄
His cover of Down is a demonstration of what a freak of nature he is. But this is just beautiful.
I think what I like best is the look of pure “feeling it” that he, and many musicians, have on their faces as they create this magic!
A consumate artist at his very best!
I can actually hear the words of the song as he plays the cello. ❤ That's says something.
Yes me too. He literally makes that cello sing, I can hear every word of the song
I think this one is my favorite of Kev’s. Such a beautiful song and an amazing arrangement!
Amazing talent! Makes his voice sound like an instrument and his actual instrument sound like a voice. ❤

You need to watch his Adele medley. It's amazing too of course
I remember someone in another reaction stating who the piano player was - does anyone know?
Jason Gaviati was given credit for piano in KO's original video
@@InkWellideas Yep. Now I remember. He did/does work with Lindsey Stirling.
