@@kerryclark7233 Not really. It was the National Television Awards and This Morning won in their category. They went to the after-party alongside a lot of the cast and crew of the show and they ALL ended up coming to work in rough shape.
There was no way any of them was getting fired because ITV would have had nobody left to make the show. 😂

@@kerryclark7233 Facts. Especially as he had such gentle persona, it's easy to forget just how incredibly powerful he was.... As far as on-screen talent, he was literally King of ITV - one wave of his hand, and whole careers could disappear as if they'd never existed.
He only had to pull a face, and Eamonn and Ruth were bounced into oblivion...and let's not forget Holly was handpicked by him to replace Fearne, who's lights he quietly turned out...
At his height, that man could do, absolutely anything, he wanted on that Network.

@@lewis7515 Exactly and all because he had purposely become friends with those more powerful in the industry than he was (eg A&D) just to cover up his paedophilia. He is vile. He should be in jail, never mind on 'Cast Away' trying to revive his lucky career, and Holly (who it is now known to have known all along) should not be allowed within a million miles of a career in anything but she now has the prospect of another show lined up.
The old adage is that pretty people are more easily forgiven but, let's be honest, Holly looks like 'Miss Piggy' when fat and, due to her eyes being so far apart and pointing down in opposite directions, like 'Janice' when slim, with Phil as the permanent Kermit. "This is what we call the Muppet Show...!".

@@johnnyenglish33 I know what what the scandal was. However they also had ‘queuegate’ before that, and then the stalker thing that ended Holly’s time. And then there were the issues around Eamon and Ruth also. So it was not a happy camp for a while there.

You should watch a show called 'Gogglebox.' People watch tv shows and we watch their reactions and their humour and commentary is spot on. It's a shame about how both Holly and Phillip left the show as they really were comedy gold along with Gino stumbling into the best innuendo traps ever like his Gran and then there's the show when Holly and Phillip rocked up from winning the NTA and hadn't gone to bed at all.

The British sense of humour with innuendos is legendary.
Recently the Musician Ren had a #1 Album and is independent so not usually on the radio. They asked him for a radio friendly song (right length, not too edgy, lol), so he wrote "Uninvited"
React to it if you want a laugh.
    He is very Naughty!

Fisherman's Friends is a brand of cough lozenge that's especially strong in the menthol content. They're another love it or hate it thing in the UK like with Marmite, sold in pharmacies and convenience stores.
Holly Willoughby is a crowd favourite in the UK. She began her career as a Pretty Polly bra model, before being a saturday morning kid's TV anchor. She was always the "straight woman" being thrown innuendo opportunities by the boy hosts, and trying to be very demure and polite, which just made it funnier, as well as being so attractive.

  • @freemansteinslab
