Of course we know about this Gem. All Hardcore pentiholics know about and have seen this. It kind of puts his talent today into perspective. It Just shows how incredibly Brilliant he truly is. Great Reaction D
The fact that he was so well spoken, at 17, just shows you he was going to succeed, whether he chose his studies or his music. You can also understand why he speaks for the group, a lot of time, when they are interviewed. He's up for anything!
Loved that little wave he gave to his parents when he came on stage. His father a Psychiatrist and his mother a Nurse. His father from Nigeria and his mother from Grenada. Most definitely the best musician with PTX and Avi, being a classically trained Basso Profundo running a close second. They were best friends and like brothers while Avi was with the group.
Thanks for your reaction! Love this one of Kevin and I wish we saw more of his saxophone playing. There is another amazing Gem on You Tube of Scott Hoying from Pentatonix playing piano and singing "Georgia On My Mind" when he was only 14 years old. It is a video going back more than 15 years that he originally posted on his 'My Space' page and there is a brief comment from a friend about him sending the video to Simon Cowell for one of the shows and getting rejected and that she was sorry!
K.O. is the definition of prodigy--plays several instruments ----speaks several languages --can beatbox to the Gods. Is he even human? Such talent in this group, fate brought these five people together. WOW!
My son sang Bach's "Magnificat" on the stage of Carnagie Hall! He was chosen at age 18 from try outs! We were so proud! He recently tried out for the Baltimore Chamber Choir/Ensamble to sing the music for the Star Field video game. He was the only non-professional to be included in that production. 😊 Kevin is definitely an over achiever in many areas of talent & life! ❤
It was so great to see this Kevin video again. He is incredible. I hope that one of you patrons will request that you react to some of Kevin's videos on his UA-cam channel. A lot of us regular people have been making requests for that for over a year. You will be blown away even more by his talent. Everything on his UA-cam channel is amazing.
I can't say I've seen this one and I spent the entire year of 2021 deep diving into PTX. I knew all of the info about him and that he did this performance but I do believe this is my first time watching the video. Super fun and just amazing to see that he hasn't changed much 😁. I love me some Kevin. Thanks for this 🙏🏾👍🏾
Great find! KO at 17 seemed awfully well to do young man and just off the top of my head, Mitch, Scott, and Kirsty were in middle school while Kevin performing at Carnegie Hall! Wow!!!
We keep telling you...he's most likely an actual genius! If I remember correctly he has performed at cernegie haöö twice. He's actually not the only ptx member to perform there! Scott was a guest performer when Jessica Vosk (broadway)performed there a few years ago. Dressed in full tails!
No "most likely" about it. Kevin is a true polymath - a genius in more than one area. Polymaths are the people mere geniuses look at and say, "Boy! I wish *_I_* had a mind like that." Leonardo da Vinci was a polymath. So were Richard Feynman and Isaac Asimov.
He beatboxed Beethoven’s 5th and last year he created Kevin’s 5th based on that. You should check out the live performance from the Hollywood bowl. I saw it live twice and it was probably the best part of both concerts. Similar to what you watched the other day with Kevin and Matt. Although I don’t think Matt got his full drum set until the summer tour this year. The Hollywood bowl performance has a special treat with the conductor of the other cellists on the stage playing with Kevin. I’m seeing some saying they haven’t seen this but a lot of us have. Some of us spend too much time watching everything they’re involved in.
I’ve never seen this!! I loved it so much! Kevin is so humble, yet so BRILLIANT in a myriad of ways. Keep ‘em coming long-time Pentaholics so us newbies can get caught up 😁!
Pentatonix calls themselves a "band"; I think you can as well. The thing that gets me about the beatboxing in this is that Kevin was improvising it on the spot. Talk about talent!
Oh-LOOSH-oh-luh. If you watch "The Kevin Show/Kevin's Fifth" you can hear Scott pronounce it in his introduction of Kevin. ua-cam.com/video/DbCasvcNx78/v-deo.html He was 17. On a different occasion he performed on cello at Carnegie Hall, but I can't find that performance anywhere and I'm not sure when it was, except that Kevin was a teenager. Kevin began piano lessons at age 4, cello at age 6, and alto saxophone at age 10. Obviously, his parents realized fairly early on that they had a prodigy on their hands.

How much more can kevin do...or PTX ingeneral?AMAZING....can't love the many more.....BRAVO....THANKS D...❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can we say AMAZING AGAIN !

Kevin Olusola - the poster boy for Overachievers' Anonymous! Don't forget he speaks several languages, including Mandarin.
I know PTX was counting their blessings the day Kevin showed up to join them.
The sax!!!! Omg
I had no idea that this video existed! Very cool! At 17, he seemed destined for greatness (and that host knew it)! Amazing! Thank you for this one, D!
We are all so fortunate to have "met" Kevin; it's an honor to support him in his art

WOW!!
Unbelievable, that much talent in one person. This was before Pentatonix yet. Thank you so much for finding this.
I take no credit! lol was all patreon!
K.O. is the definition of prodigy--plays several instruments ----speaks several languages --can beatbox to the Gods. Is he even human? Such talent in this group, fate brought these five people together. WOW!
At this point I don't believe he is human anymore. It's too many gifts and talent for only one person 😂

That was so fun!! Never seen it so thanks!! 😊
Wow, just wow. I'm speechless. Thanks for another hidden gem D.
Wow that is amazing!
no matter how you look at it. Kevin is a definite prodigy in so many things. Great find it was really entertaining.

Thanks D, to you and your patron, for bringing this gem to light. Kev is just a superstar and has been for a long, long while. 💜

Thanks for a great reaction. So young and talented!
I've been waiting for you to see this. Your reaction was priceless and the same as mine when I saw it.
Wow, I thought I saw everything they all do but I have not seen this. Wow. Wonderful. ❤
I’ve never seen this!! I loved it so much! Kevin is so humble, yet so BRILLIANT in a myriad of ways. Keep ‘em coming long-time Pentaholics so us newbies can get caught up 😁!
Thanks for digging this up. I've seen another vid of him when he was young . . . but this is special.

Great new find…❤
The only sad part is that it would be really hard to beat box with a sax. If anyone could figure it out, it would be Kevin.
🧡🧡🧡
Kevin…🤯❤️🤗💋🥰. They do call themselves a band. So it’s ok
Oh-loo-sha-la
Yep. With a heavy fokus on the loo!
@@hernameispekka_Rebecca I almost typed Oh-LOO-sha-la.
How many people win three Grammy awards doing their “hobby”?

Dude, where is your reaction to "2023 em uma música" by Lucas Inutilismo??? Can't wait to see it. Let's rock 🤘🏻
KO just dwarfed that thing
