- Every year we go camping and this old rig is onsite. I'm in love and have been for many years. I sure would love to put this in my driveway !!!!!!!!
This isn't a will it run, simply a walk around.
If you want to subscribe I sure would appreciate it.
Thank you all so much. - Авто та транспорт
Definitely a 250 with a backdrop. They sound sweet with the muffler off.
Beautiful truck.
Without a turbo, I believe it is a 250 cummins. Solid old rig!
My thoughts exactly. Thanks for the id help.
We Have a 74 352 daycab with a Cummins NTC350 no power steering, its first job was at Certified Grocers in Los Angeles. Originally has the 2 rear windows. Zero rust and straight as piss.
that sounds like a sweet ride. day cabs are awesome!!!
Broken Wrenches Love That Classic 352 Peterbilt Cabover Truck Keep Up the good work Billy Lizza Uniontown pa
Appreciate ya so much
This might be the rig that chewed and mangled the infamous cyclist from Faces of Death (1978).
The most gruesome death aftermath I ever saw and I saw it all!
It is funny how they made those modifications. The way the headlights were done so you could put one or two in the housing. Definitely looks like an old Safeway truck. Probably like a 220 horse Cummins hard to say being it’s non turbocharged. Stay cool
Probably wasn’t a power house but most of the fleet trucks weren’t. They just wanted to move materials and didn’t want guys breaking stuff, as evidenced by the tattle tales on the speedo and tach. Appreciate ya as always. If your ever in NE Oklahoma look me up.
Sweet
Agreed
Nice rig!!!
That baby hauled real food in its day.
Im in love, not ashamed to admit it.
An old Safeway truck. Haven't seen those in years
Ive never seen one other than this. The K100 was a lot more common i hear.
@@BrokenWrenchesthat and freightliner
""THE-OLDGIRL, ""YOUMEAN THEOLD-MAN""!!!!!!
i don’t disagree!!! it wouldn’t be fun to drive every day all day !!! thanks for watching.
You never know your luck in big city.... it may end up at your place one day, Thanks for sharing.
I sure hope so !!!
Ah, the good old days, when men were men and cupcakes were something that you ate.
Yes sir. Im sure it beat the crap out of some old timers !
Engine more than likely 220 Cummins with 10 speed Roadranger.
My Dad drove several Pete cabovers in the early 60s.
290 was turbo charged
What a delight.
I love it
Someone put a 13 speed shift knob on the stick but if you look the splitter button is gone and there are no air lines going into the shift knob for the overdrive splitter.
The RT-910 is as follows: RoadRanger Transmission direct, 900 ft/lb torque capacity and 10 forward speeds.
The rear windows were a factory option and even then Peterbilt offered a Nagahyde interior. Fleet drivers got just the basic interior package
It has a backdraft manifold on that old Cummins haven't seen one of them in years that really is a neat old truck I think it's probably between a I think it's probably around 1966 67
i agree. i sure would love to buy it.
It's definitely a time capsule.... looks to me like a check for 2500 and a drop deck roll off and it would be yours... keep looking for the people that own it...
2500 would be a done deal yesterday!!!! Thanks for watching 😉
Nice find, love the looks of the Unilite 352s. I hope you can buy it someday.
Me too. It would sure be a good build for the channel. Thanks for watching!
Cracking rig. Hope you manage to acquire it one day. It is a crying shame to see it deteriorate when it could be refurbished.
I know !!! It kills me seeing it sitting outside.
That cable by the cab jack is for the safety latch
Looks a bit like the old volvo f88, both super cool trucks❤
Yep. Appreciate ya.
I’d venture a guess that it’s a mid 60’s, and being a fleet rig, my best educated guess is a 220 Cummins.
i’m in love, definitely not many of them still operable. i imagine most were parted out decades ago. thanks for watching!!
@@BrokenWrenchesalso, I do believe it is just a 10 speed. The quick glimpses I saw of the trans appear to be a non overdrive rear section. Indeed, would be a cool ol sweetheart to have and fart around with.
I would to
Given the back of the cab is angled, this was built between 1963 and 1970
FRICKIN AWESOME how cool hopefully it ends up at your. crip because if it doesn't it would be a shame. Appreciate ya sharing with us buddy. Any idea who owns it?
I have a good idea about it. Problem is they still occasionally use it and its perfect for what they need it for.

A tachograph is the old time version of tracking. These days they can track you every 30 seconds in their office on the other side of the country. They even can check your weights now on the same system. A lot of old drivers are leaving because of it.
Yep, its kinda intrusive!!! If a guy is getting the job done just leave them alone right ???
@@BrokenWrenches yeah I know right. But sadly it doesn’t work like that. The government is just really greedy and I think Australia is a big hater on trucks.
After a better view, the engine is an NTC 250
im in love with this truck. i really appreciate you watching and commenting and helping with the identification. Im admittedly not super knowledgeable about the heavy trucks.
I love sharing this history of old trucks, especially Peterbilt cabovers. The 352 of that era. Glad I am able to help. Are you a member of ATHS? The American Truck Historical Society
Rear windows were an option
It's not a 13 speed, someone substituted a 13 speed shift knob. If you look, the splitter button is gone
Find the owner and buy it 😊
I sure hope to
