back in late 70s and early 80s we ran cobra cbs with tall antennas on mirrors in the transtars.dont see that anymore/later on when we tuned the cbs sometimes one inch to high would cut your gain down and stuff learning curve

The parts truck for the win again. I don’t know how a guy would get a key for those latches tho. Looks way better than the custom hooks did. I’m not sure where they would’ve put the air dryer at on that truck from the factory. I don’t guess I’ve ever seen one new that had an air dryer on it. A friend got a brand new 1980 freight liner back then it didn’t have an air dryer on it. He added one looked just like what was on yours when you got it. It’s coming along great be really sweet when done! Stay cool
