People think Taylor Swift is genius for writing about her bad relationships. Stevie not only wrote about her bad relationship, but made the guy she was writing about sing it. THAT is genius 🤣😂🤣😂
Lindsey returned the favour with ‘packing up and shacking up’ from Go Your Own Way, so I think he wins, hands down
Perhaps the best thing that could be said about it is, such amazing timeless music was the product of turbulent relationships.
Came here to say this! 🤣 🤣 🤣
If not for Lindsey bringing her ideas to life, it might never have happened.
Beat me to it.
This is not only a break up song, this whole album is a break up album. Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham broke up and a married couple in the band, John and Christine McVie broke up. The entire album is a break up album. And one of the biggest selling albums ever.
All 5 members of Fleetwood Mac were getting divorced during the making of this album and it almost didn't get made. Mic Fleetwood was also getting divorced from his wife during this time, well as the McPhees and Stevie and Lindsay. Rumors is an awesome album of what it's like to break up with your significant other.
The album came out I believe in 1977.
The chains is each couple's marriage, the running in the shadows is the affairs that each member had during that 2 year span of the previous tour and the making of the album.
You forgot Mick Fleetwood and his Wife Breaking up to.
@@jeffreyskyberg6573 And Mick briefly shacking up with Stevie, but putting that aside to get the album made.
Pain sells lol

Lex has a good instinct for music. I can see her organic appreciation of good music, and how she really feels the music in all of the videos I've watched of Brad & Lex. Much respect.
TRUE!
Lex has a very intrinsic feel for music, seemingly from any era. She "feels" what the music is trying to say. Unlike Brad. Brad is much more on the practical side, and is more into the lyrics to get the "message" of the song.
True soul for sure, feels it all.
Yeah and Brad couldn’t be more uptight!
This was their commitment song as a band. They had two volitile relationships within the band and if any of them broke up, which they did often, they had to commit to not breaking up with the band. There was intense drama coming from that band since they ALL wrote songs and they'd write spite songs about each other that they all had to sing. That emotion was all real. Any chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. Don't break the chain. No one can be weak. No one can quit the band. That's what it meant.
Great explanation! I hope they saw this.
1977. This album is perfect. It was #1 for 31 weeks and is one of the biggest sellers ever. Absolutely fantastic.
I listen to Rumors at least once a week
I can't begin to tell you guys how HUGE Fleetwood Mac was in the mid 70's. I was ten and eleven years old at that time. When I first heard their music I thought I was in Heaven.
Massive band!!!
There were in The Late 1960s in The UK, as well, until the 3 original guitarists all left around the same time.
Peter Green who headed the Band which was called " Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac got too high on LSD. Danny Kirwan became a drunk and Jeremy Spencer joined a Californian Cult, while on Tour, and this Blues Band re-invented themselves as a Transatlantic Band with Stevie and Lindsey.
I was 11 as well and I got this album for Christmas that year.
@@yuriybezmenov7571 we are old, but we grew up with the absolute BEST music!
Someone should give Brad and Lex their own radio or tv show. Lex feeds off Brad and she has a brilliant instinct for music, her enthusiasm is infectious.
Brad would be fired within minutes
Lex feeds off Brad? Brad is in a constant state of confusion and looking to put songs in boxes. Lex is the complete opposite and feels the music in her soul. Unfortunately Brad never gets it, gets it wrong and poor Lex nods in agreement but you can see she's thinking, "nope you're wrong", just to avoid embarrassing him, again, and again...
6:00 to 6:58, one of the best minutes of music ever created.
Fleetwood Mac's album "Rumours" has sold 40 million copies. So there are plenty of hits for you to discover if you want. The band was actually started in 1967 and still is active.
Stay im the uk charts for 433 weeks and American charts for 130.... What a band
Not only active, tickets to a Fleetwood Mac concert still cost a pretty penny.
@@loudharley6926 It isn't Fleetwood Mac without Peter or Lindsey. Last tour was a joke.
Thanks to tic To , they are back, 50 years later
love watching Lex get more and more hyped listening to a song
Lex has the energy we all wish the world had.
Lex is needed at all parties. She would keep us having fun.
Me too!
I could totally hang out with Lex and flood her with some cool music. Just an "old" lady's opinion. Lolol..Rock on young people!🤘
She usually gets it
"the sound is so different"
Exactly what's missing from today's popular music.
The lament of the ages.
yeah, this was mainstream radio rock back then
@@ugaladh Wouldn't you consider this Soft Rock?? 🤗🙂
@@rhondamcbath6279 Rumours is in a category by itself. Seminal.
Artists don't seem to take risks anymore. They used to experiment and try different things. If a song was a failure and nobody bought it then they would try a different idea.
These days they don't seem to take risks and don't try new things. They have a formula that works so they release the same stuff over and over and over again. I don't know if it's the record labels pressuring them to make risk-free guaranteed hits or if it's the artists getting lazy?
Electronic sounds don't help. Some artists have never even seen a real instrument before. In the old days, a drummer, guitarist, and other musicians tried different things and let the music take them somewhere. They played from the soul. How can an electronic instrument on a computer let an artist play from the soul?
This is in the second “Guardians of the Galaxy” movie. Awesome tune. The entire “Rumours” album is an absolute classic and one of the biggest selling albums ever
Lindsay Buckingham is an amazing guitarist, one of the best in rock history. Very unique style which accounts for the "banjo" sound you were describing, he plays without a pick using his fingers. Banjos are played in a similar fashion.
Mr. Buckingham is the man who inspired me to pick up a guitar way back in the day and study music as my major in college. :-)
banjo players have picks on their fingers. "Clawhammer" is a style of play, generally on a 6 string, that is prevalent in Bluegrass and other music from the Southern US that doesn't use finger picks.
Steve Martin plays in this style.
@@Ottawajames I wasn't aware it was called clawhammer, thanks!
The reason it sounds similar to a banjo is less about Lindsay playing with his fingers, and more that he's using a resonator guitar on this track. Banjos also have resonators, so there is a similar short, tin like sound.
@@lastnote isn't he playing the mandolin here?
@@djC653 Nope - mandolins do not sound like that. They are tuned higher and have double strings, so you would hear some chorusing that is not present in The Chain recording.
But if you don't trust me, I just looked up the wikipedia entry. "The finished song has a basic rock structure, although it has two distinct portions: the main verse and chorus, and the outro. Influences of hard rock, folk, and country are also present. The Dobro, a type of resonator guitar, supplies the verse riff.[4][9] The song is in E minor, which is the relative minor key of G major.[10] The vocal range is G3 to C♯5."
The female lead singer is Stevie Nicks, She went solo but she still played with the band I think. One of my favorite Solo songs of hers "Edge of seventeen!!! (1981) highly recommend!!
Love stevie nix
Yeah basically anything Fleetwood Mac or Stevie nicks in general is golden.
Kristy McVie had a solid solo album and Lindsey's solos are pretty good as well.
Christine McVie actually fronted more songs than any other singer through the history of Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham being second and Stevie being third. But Stevie definitely had the better solo career, and definitely has the most followers.
Just like the white wing dove!
The thing I really love about Fleetwood Mac, is all their songs are different. So many groups fall into one sound.. Fleetwood is a journey.
For "Journey" and the "Eagles" they too had this kind of different you know, their music & songs had many different sounds. 🎶🎶🎶
Listen to yourself
This is the only Fleetwood Mac song credited to all five members of their 1977 lineup. Since various pieces were assembled to make the song, they all had some contribution.
This song came to represent the resilience of Fleetwood Mac and the strength of their bond as they continued on for many years despite their personal and professional difficulties. It was often the first song they played in concert
Lex is an old rock and roll soul. I’m convinced.
I would love to see your reaction to Fleetwood Mac's Rhiannon, live 1976. You will love it.
Yes a must!!
Yes!! Stevie let's loose on that one. She was so coked up in that performance, but she was fantastic!
And Gold Dust Woman live in Japan
My favorite song by them! Stevie’s unfiltered vocals on this live performance are unmatched
Live, Always Better👍 Was at the Rumors Tour 😁Years ago in Phoenix lol with Christopher Cross 🤔😁
This will forever be the intro music to formula 1 for me. The BBC used it for years, and there was a fan effort to bring it back as the intro music on tv. The Bass/guitar solo section is fire.
Please don't ruin the band with a gobsmacked sport with hybrids. F1 stopped existing after 2014
In the UK this song - at least the ending when the bass kicks in - was used as the intro for Formula 1 motor racing ! Gave this song a whole knew live ! Kids loved it even though they did not know the whole song ! Rumours is one of the best selling albums ever !
It's still used for the BBC's radio/podcast/online coverage!
I can't hear this without expecting Murray Walker to start talking excitedly about Alain Prost and Nigel Mansell.
Knew that part of song long before heard rest of it and knew of Fleetwood Mac
I remember visiting a Hi-Fi shop with a friend who was looking to buy some new equipment. In the listening room they had a system using a Linn deck, he shied away and asked me to put something on. I noticed that "Rumours" was in the record selection and that he had no clue as to who FM were. I selected "The Chain". The track started, not much response until the break. By the time the second bass note had finished he exclaimed "...it's bloody Murray Walker...".
Sunday afternoons BBC, Murray, a roast and screaming V10’s!!
Oh! For the simple times of my teen years ignoring doing homework!!😂
That bass riff is so simple but so damn good
Classic Rock- the lead singer and guitarist were in a relationship that didn’t end well… but made one hell of an album! “Rumors”
I have their completely cd box set!!
Rumors is brilliant.
@@kauswekazilimani3736 You could pick any song off this album to react to and it would be fantastic!
@@lrsrosebud What do you think of Mirage?
@@kauswekazilimani3736 I still like “Rumors” better but my favorite tracks off “Mirage” are “Love in Store” and “Hold Me”.
THE CHAIN
The song was literally spliced together from combinations of several previously rejected materials. The song originally represented the internal fractures - both romantically and professionally - of the band members, but eventually came to symbolize their triumph in staying together.
Every member contributed to this song which was a little different than usual. There were basically 3 songwriters: Stevie, Lindsey & Christine.
Stevie & Lindsey were falling apart & John & Christine McVie were also splitting up. Yet, they ALL made a conscious decision to keep the band together (chain keep us together) even tho every member was pursuing their own path emotionally, some were seeing other people outside the relationships (running in the shadows). This song became their signature concert opener. It signified the sacrifices they all made to keep the band together regardless of how they felt about working together….and it made for some amazing lyrics (Stevie & Lindsey especially)
This band has been a staple in my collection since the mid 70s.
Here's are a couple of Fleetwood Mac songs recommend:
Dreams, Go Your own way, Gypsy.
Landslide
"Rhiannon" for the win.
Don’t Stop, Tusk
Songbird is another good song.
And Little Lies.
Tons of hits by Fleetwood!
"GYPSY" is one of my favorites for sure
The genre is simply called „Perfect Music“.
I've seen them in concert. Great show. They have 3 lead singers and any of them can carry a song lyrically.
Fleetwood Mac is a legendary group
Love seeing Lex get into the music!! She listens & just gets it!! It doesn't get much better than Stevie Nicks & Fleetwood Mac!! Y'all should definitely react to more of their songs!! I love y'alls reactions!!!
I never tire of Lex's reaction to the intensity of music. Thank you.
It's the male dullard sitting next to her that's the issue
Geez! When Lex is on, she is on! Great band and a great song. She will always be the Gypsy Queen.
Landslide is another good one
its a LANDSLIDE
Lindsey Buckingham is low key one of the guitar GOATs...
Only 1 guitar on this INSANE
He is one of the most underrated Guitarist of all time. His style of playing is epic.
@@bb47ishere amen took me 40 years to realize it
This sounds like the hollow body guitar I mean banjo.
Love John McVee's base during the last part of the song. He keeps playing it and it just makes the song that much richer. You will keep going, right? Have you done "Dreams" yet? That very famous one is making its rounds again through the younger generation.
Fantastic song from one of the greatest bands in Rock music history!
Lex has the energy, Brad has the analysis. Perfect duo. Love y'all
That's the ticket! Big potential.
This comment deserves more love honestly. They are like the 2 sides of my split personality!
Except that it was Lex who nailed the genre and picked up on the nuances of the style and sound. And later picking up that they were askign/hoping for "the chain" to keep them together despite adversity. Spot on with her analysis. She really is underappreciated in how she does that. In so many songs, I'm amazed how she picks up on nuances so easily and quickly with new bands or different songs.
@@Frostrazor That's a really great point. Lex also inherently knew this music she was unfamiliar with, was post-hippie, pre-disco era, which was AMAZING!!
Stevie Nicks had the best voice ever back then
Weirdly enough Stevie is a HUGE part of American Horror Story Coven. Their music really suits the tone of the show.
I love that I grew up on this music in the late late 70's and early early 80"s
Yes me too, we definitely were blessed to have experienced those days 🤔
To understand this 1977 song and the Fleetwood Mac album 'Rumours'... u gotta know the history of the band:
Fleetwood Mac was formed in the 1960's in England as a blues rock band feat. Mick Fleetwood (drums), John McVie (bass) & Peter Green (guitar)... However, the band was unstable and by 1974, they had a number of records, Peter Green had quit the band after having a mental breakdown, and the band which also featured John's wife Christine McVie (organ & vocals) relocated to L.A. and were looking for a new guitarist.
They came across a record by a duo called Buckingham-Nicks which featured guitarist Lindsey Buckingham and his gf Stevie Nicks on vocals... the record did not sell, but Lindsey Buckingham became an on-demand guitarist - he was asked to join Fleetwood Mac, and he accepted only if Stevie came along too. Fleetwood Mac was reborn in 1975 when the self-titled album was released, featuring songs (and vocals) by Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks & Buckingham... it became a massive hit. But w/ fame & fortune came drugs, egos and conflicts.
When Fleetwood Mac began recording the next album 'Rumours', John & Christine had separated and Christine was dating someone in the band's crew... Lindsey & Stevie were fighting all the time and split up as the songs were being written & recorded - so the lyrics that came out were very emotional and real. The couples' break-ups and afterwards having to work together and see each other every day was a very painful situation... even Mick Fleetwood's wife left him around that time.
Lindsey Buckingham wrote "Go your own way" and "Second hand news" about Stevie... She wrote "Dreams" & "I don't want to know" about Lindsey... (Christine McVie wrote "You make loving fun" and "Don't stop" about her new relationship after her split)
"The Chain" started as a ballad written by Stevie Nicks... but this final version was credited to every member of the band, who added their parts. The song refers to the situation of breaking up but still tied together because of the band.
When the album 'Rumours' was released in 1977, it became one of the biggest albums in music history - right next to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'... AC/DC's 'Back in black'... Led Zeppelin's fourth album... The Eagles' "Hotel California" ... In fact, it made the charts AGAIN today, after a Tiktok video went viral w/ the song 'Dreams' playing in the back.
Despite their rocky relationship thru the years, Lindsey & Stevie seemingly put their animosity aside to work together in Fleetwood Mac in 1997. But in 2017, Stevie demanded that Lindsey be fired for the band to continue touring (he was replaced by 2 live guitarists) Christine McVie left the band in 1999... but was welcomed back in 2014. She & her ex-husband John seem to be on better terms today.
Don't forget Silver Springs. That is the ultimate FU song Stevie sang to Lindsey live.
Classic song, classic album.
You should listen to this entire album, it is one of the greatest albums of all time. No exaggeration.
Love Lexis vibe and innocent learning of earlier classic songs 💗👍
This was my mama's music.. I dig it ..this was one of theirsI really liked
Your mama has good taste, sweetpea.
Lex is always rocking. Try "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac.
Gold Dust Woman is a banger. A lot of Heartache and emotions went into this album. Lindsay had to sing songs Stevie wrote about him
My original introduction to Fleetwood Mac was their 1968 "single" (Albatross) which is not a song but a piece of music. It was both mesmerizing/haunting & relaxing, thanks to that I looked out for any future work of theirs. Many, many wonderful songs followed & the discovery of Stevie Nicks as a lead vocalist extraordinaire. I hope you enjoy exploring them as much as I have.
"chain keep us together" is the lie, "running in the shadows" was the reality
Not really a lie considering how long they held together despite all the relationship issues that took place with each of them. That's why the band co-wrote it. About their bond despite the shadows.
@@Mike_Daddy Its a double+ metaphor ingeniously written by Stevie. Her and Lindsey had a "chain", John and Christine had a "chain", Stevie and Mick had a fling and the band as a whole had a "chain" that kept them all together through all of it. Maybe because they loved the music, maybe because they needed money for more cocaine. Either way it led to one of the greatest songs ever and a perfect analogy for the Fleetwood Mac era.
@@vetteguy1985 Lyrics don't impress me.
@@Mike_Daddy Don’t comment on lyrics then, LOL
@@daviebananas1735 My comment was of the band's unity, not lyrics. A shame you missed that.
Get it Lex!!! Love you and how genuine your reactions are!!
I love the way you both hit it on the head. Him with the break up song statement and her identifying the era and style. This song is next level amazing!
I was raised on this. It speaks to my soul through nostalgia but also life experiences. My mother is a feeling person and we were raised on all kinds of emotional music. Its one of the things she definitely got right. 🙌🏻💜
You HAVE to listen to "Dreams" by these guys!
And Rhiannon
And "Gold Dust Woman"...I think we all could just really keep listing a bunch of songs...there's a long list
Love how branched out you guys have become in your reactions.
Always entertaining!
Love how yall love this song....Fleetwood Mac....One of the best
Those vocal harmonies still give me the chills many listens since the first hearing.
One of my favorite songs! Love how Lex grooves. Doesn’t hurt that’s she’s beautiful and charming as well!
Got to watch Stevie live version of anything… esp back in the day…
When they do this song live.. they will keep it going for like 5 mins in a frenzie… it’s awesome
Great reactions! This album (Rumours) won the Grammy for album of the year in 1977. Sold over 10 million copies within a month of it’s release and over 40 million total. Lots of personal drama went into this album as the two couples in the band had broken up.
I saw them that album tour
We all had eight track back-in-the-day riding around with nothing to Fleetwood Mac Rumours everybody had it
I love your analysis. Spot on!
You guys are the best. Brad is all about the lyrics, which is cool, & Lex just feels all the music. Love it! Tool is my favorite band ;)
This is a rabbit hole, they have so many great songs.
True that!!
Watching this perform this live on their concert, the dance is amazing, it was 20+ years after the original but probably 20 years ago… They are timeless
Brad I LOVE YOU and your thirst for lyrical knowledge !!! Hands down best “Reaction” channel on YT!!!
You wanna know what this album, and a LOT of Fleetwood Mac songs, are all about? Watch the live version of “Silver Spring” from their “The Dance” show. Watching Lindsey and Stevie staring at each other during the crescendo of that song is a perfect example of their relationship.
The live version is really good, but the original version that got left off the Rumours album were Stevie's vocals at their best.
@@MusicFan1977 I like the studio version more, for sure…but the visual, visceral rawness seeing them staring into each other’s eyes, all those years later. Powerful stuff.
@@MattKrogmeier Can't argue that.
Oh man, you really feel it when she delivered that "never get away, never get away" !
Cracks me up every time I watch it, the 🔥🔥🔥🔥 shooting out of Stevie's eyes at Lindsay 🤣
“What are we dealing with here?”
A band full of people hooked on drugs, breaking up, falling apart and then three different music fragments from different band members coming together to create an Epic song about relationships. The rest of the album covers similar ground but this track goes right into it…
Amazing analysis on the fly! In the final moments, you finished really strong with the interpretation.
This is the exact vibe Fleetwood Mac gives me too! It’s what I imagine the 70’s sounded like💯
Just discovered you guys. I really appreciate your interpretation of my favorite Fleetwood Mac song. Keep up the good work.
The breakdown is theme music they use for Formula 1 coverage in the UK.
It has been legendary for as long as I can remember!
This is a powerful album from start to finish! It was album of the year that year! And this music & lyrics still hold up to today. There was a lot of intermingling "shadows" "relationships" amongst the existing relationships within this band. This album expresses that volatile & sultry dynamic! One of my favorite albums of ALL TIME!
Brad and Lex, I really love the dynamic between you in your reactions. Good vibes!
Wow, you just listened to one of the greatest bands of all time, amazing tune, more Fleetwood Mac please, I'd recommend "reahnon" or" go your own way" beautiful songs with real depth, cheers guys.
Classic….they are hitmakers now for years. This is off of one of the greatest albums ever “ Rumours”,which they wrote when they were breaking up.At the time Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks were married, and Christine and John McVie were getting divorced,so I like to say that “ Emotions wrote this classic album”.The songs have a prevailing theme. The Chain here represents the band itself.
You two are amazing!
Lex, you are such a positive light. It is so much fun to watch you love the music.
Stevie. One of the most beautiful voices to ever sing into a microphone.
If you know the back story on this song then you must watch the live version, the energy of hatred on the stage sent volumes through the stadium and made the performance a masterpiece
You two are the beautiful people ...keep it going.
Yes Lex feel that groove. I love it! Your reactions are so great!
"What ganre of music are we dealing with here"? Good music.
I just noticed that I misspelled genre. Ouch.
Rock
@@hgianos65 I'll stick with my answer. Fuck genres. Though if we do go with genres there probably are different genres of fucking as well. A pondering point.
Fleetwood Mac ..Classic Rock.........Stevie Nicks is their lead singer. She made her own career. The song Edge of Seventeen is definitely worth a listen..
Stevie was a singer in the band, there were three lead singers.
One of the lead singers. Lindsey had the lead here.
The story behind the making of this track is amazing. Has been my favorite FM song since the first time I heard it.
Lindsey is soooo good! Guitar and vocals! Love him.
Can’t wait for you guys to find Lynyrd Skynyrd
Omg Freebird live
YESSS
Yes. It's classic rock. 70s. You listening to actual Rock Legends.
They were together from 1967-1995. Stevie is an AWESOME singer, her voice is one of my favs for female singers.
One of the best parts about F Mac is how Lindsay's and Stevie's intertwined and wrapped around each other's voices, almost becoming a whole new voice.
Here in the UK, the bass solo was the intro music for televised Formula 1 racing (1980's), for years as a kid I never knew what the song was called or whom the band was, great song though! Thanks for the reaction!
Thats exactly what I was thinking. I was expecting Murray Walker to come on next!! Go, go, go!! Rip Murray....
My F1 💕🏁🏁🏁
Saw Fleetwood Mac in concert and they were so good! It was first time in a very long time that they all reunited and I was blessed to witness it!
Great Band!! Yall are picking some amazing songs!!
Ok.... You NEED to do "Rhiannon" live on the Midnight Special '76!! All 5 members of Fleetwood Mac shine in that performance and Stevie Nicks (lead singer) freaking GOES OFF towards the end!! Fleetwood Mac are legendary and their lead singer, Stevie Nicks is the only woman ever to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame TWICE!! Once with F.M. and once for her solo album "Bella Donna"..... From her solo album check out "Edge Of Seventeen" (you may've heard it somewhere in your travels)... it's iconic!! The Official music video is film of a live performance.... Looking forward to a Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks journey with ya!!
SIDE NOTE: Hope you do start (You talked about it in your livestream last night) a dive into the works of Chris Cornell with his bands: Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple Of The Dog and his solo works and covers EX: his acoustic performance and rendition of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" cover.... He took MJ'S simple Pop song and turned it into a whole other beast!!! It'll give you GOOSEBUMPS!!! ;)
That is a great version of the song.
BTW... just found you guys in my thumbnails about 3-4 weeks ago (I subbed, after your T.M. "Snowflakes" reaction)..... love your vibe and reactions and, Lex, you freaking rock girl!!! ;)
Yes RHIANNON! Best song ever. Not just because of my name but also because Stevie wrote the song before she found out there is an actual myth of the Celtic Goddess Rhiannon that is pretty dang close to the story line
Stevie Nicks 'THE' best female voice ever....
Agreed 100%
Love watching Lex react!! Thank you. Love, PJ
Love this song! That bass line is epic to listen to and fun to play along with!
Let's not forget about Christie Mcvie on the song "Songbird"
I love watching your reactions for the 2 different approaches you take to music. Lex goes with the feelings and Brad goes into the lyrics. As a child of the 70's and 80's I recommend not taking the lyrics as literally as music today... it tended to be more like poetry set to music... and a lot of songs were written on drugs lol.
The kind of song you listen to over and over and over…… till 2022 and on.
God bless classic rock! And he did.
Man you really need to listen to a live performance of this. The guitar solo is much longer , goes harder, and watching Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckinham sing this while straight mean mugging each other the entire time (this is about their breakup) is intense AF
