Amazing video! Thank you 🙏 one question though, I am no longer using the midnight sun ring. i have the lucky hit to gain primary resource line on my Glove with a leg ring (without resource gen lines) How would I calculate this?
@@critical01532 You don't need to, ravager and your intelligence themselves will multiply the lowest roll possible on the gloves to be greater than your resource pool. And masteworking that affix does not increase the chance of that effect happening, only the amount it gives. This is a min/max version though and does not work on every engagement in speed runs. It is awesome for pushing, but for speed runs I suggest midnight sun as the damage is high enough to 1-2 shot things and is guaranteed every time.
I have two max resolve tempers (max 9) on helm and pants - and I’ve basically have pretty decent/good gear - my dmg is only in the billions - what am i doing wrong? I don’t see trillions at all. Vigor at 255 - Midnight Sun 50% - mythic chest.
@@dr.a.lo.2437 Are you running Jaguar primary hall with normal damage numbers turned on? Jaguar double dip only shows up as a "white" number. So if you are only seeing overpowers it will not show. If you are not running Jaguar primary hall, then the trillion damage is not possible.
@@OperatorOtter im running jaguar primary and monkey man secondary - I made the adjustments as per video (ty btw) and i am under the Kepeleke effect - all damage is orange - but it’s just billions, 10’s of billions sure, but billions nonetheless…i haven’t seen any consistent T’s generate - i wonder what might be causing this? My kepeleke rod is 2.80 with 2 crits on quill implicit (i know i know 2.80 is not 3 🥲)…anything u can think might be culprit here? Any and all help is appreciated.
This guide was well done! Thanks for explaining it in detail. A lot of guides out there don’t go into detail about how to actually use the calculator once you pull it up lol. Which can be very confusing if you aren’t used to it. Best one I’ve seen so far! 😎👊🏻

great guide,you are very good at explaining things,the only suggestion I have is add a Green/Red with "Achieved or Not" cell where by just inputting your data it shows if the effect is active or not,I think many folks would love it.

This helped me. I had a midnight sun with 35%, went and did some grigoire rotations and got a 50% on my last summon Once I plugged that in it was like Clark Griswold’s wife hit the switch on the Christmas lights. She’s a Beauty, Clark
That'll do it, can't tell you how many times I did that when min/max testing damage. Drove me crazy sometimes, and then I realize, "Oh hey there's this like skill that helps with that"
Great video and great explanation on how to fix our builds. I have fixed my build for now. Still not those big numbers in the Billions or Trillions but the over power hits are now consistent and always showing orange numbers when I use the skills. My rings suck and need actual ancestral rolls. So the question I have now is you talk about Resources Generation but all the builds show rings with Resource Cost Reduction? I see the Maxroll builds have has both, Generation on the Speeds build @200 paragon, and Reduction on the build @255 paragon. So what does the cost reduction do for us. Keep up the great work. I feel like a much easier way to tell if you're in the permalecki effect is to just look at the buff bar. The 275 stacks of the banished Lords buff will just stay on 275 the whole time if it's working. If the number is bouncing around then it's not working.
This is the video I’ve been sharing with my friends to illustrate the requirements and effect, but I have a request: make a second video explaining why chance to hit twice is the desired GA on maxroll. And whether or not there’s a situation where a masterworked GA chance to hit twice could matter more than the 3% multiplier. I commented this as a reply elsewhere but if anyone can do this in a way I can understand, it’s you!

The answer to this is a lot! Resistance can be tanked entirely in most situations. If you can get your armor to 1,000 without skulls, gem your rings, settle for below max, you can sub in boots with max Life GA and do crazy damage in pits. The raids can get you with poison, though. And pit bosses can be challenging single player. But I cruise to the boss on pit 135 with ten minutes left this way.

And I recorded at 2am without any coffee. This isn't even my final form. XD. You can slow video down in options. I try to crunch in information within 12-15 min because UA-cam Algorithm, and ima be honest, I like money.

So my ring is only a 38, so I tempered it onto my amulet as well, and then I'm wearing Yens blessing, which has some on it to. So right now I have a 10% on my ring, 8% on my amulet, and 8.5% on my boots. Thanks again!
Oh the soothsayer thing that's causing jaguar damage to double dip on itself and making a billion increase by a factor of a million? Hehe, maybe, more a later season thing. But I will definitely try to cover it later from now.

@Gpsi861 Check out newest video, and RCR does nothing to the required cost I believe. Can't say for sure because I have 300 vigor and tested at 240 with 14% rcr, but it still worked then.

Is this possible? I’m using Yen’s and a ring temper. My Midnight is 50%. I realize I’ll probably have to craft a Shroud. Thanks!

I have two questions though. 1) I have no problem reaching the regen necessary but I don't know exactly how to get to those 240 vigor. 2) is the overpower build viable only with peraleki but no 240 vigor or should I make the switch only after I got the 240? Switching builds is so tedious in this game, I am dreading doing it again.
@user-ve4rd9uo2k I think the min/max for QV is 234, don't quote me on that. the way you get more resource is through 3 avenues: 1. GA max resource on kepeleke 2. Max resource on helm 3. Hubris in sapping board, the magic nodes give +17 each with hubris at level 100.
It's worth noting that you must have the Sapping node on the paragon board for this to work (even though it doesn't factor into the spreadsheet). If you take off that node, you do no damage.
@undeadamerican1107 Sapping does absolutely nothing to the resource generation of the build. As it states every 3rd attack will restore 15% of your vigior. But we need this on every single attack, not every 3rd. So it is not a part of our calculations.
@@OperatorOtter Understood. And yet the build doesn't work without it. I don't know why, but if you take off Sapping you'll end up with these dead periods of time where you don't do any damage (all white hits), sometimes it'll work, but sometimes it won't. Put Sapping back on and it works again. You can test it out if you like. Took me a while to figure out what was going on. But I can confirm it working that way on multiple characters.
@undeadamerican1107 Tested today in stream, permaleke effect worked WITHOUT sapping on. There's something else going on underneath the hood for your build unfortunately.
Hey, following your video (unselecting normal etc. damage numbers) it appears I can achieve the effect with midnight sun, but not if I use the starless setup with the % chance on the gloves. Is that working as intended and the additional max damage still makes it worthwhile or am I doing something wrong?
Great videos!!! Thanks! For 1 shot build, if i got +70% primary resource on lucky hit, does that mean i need only 30% resource generation? If i got 51% resource generation does that mean i will gain 100% every 2 attacks? Regardless of lucky hit? How does that works? I want to min/max the resource generation stat.
So first, thanks a lot for explaining this and have the calculator. Helps a ton. I did input everything as explained, I dont have False Death, but have ring with res gen temper. It shows -3.2 in False Death spot so I am assuming I should be hitting the "Permeleke" but when I go to the dummies, im still seeing blue #'s. Can't figure out what happend or what I did wrong? Max Vigor is 263, I do have a piece with resource reduction? Does that impact calculations? Also, my Opportunists Rare node shows 3.8% gen, not 8%??? Thanks!! Keep it up!
Means you don't have enough intelligence and/or strength to turn on opportunist. And if it says you are overlapped by 3.2%, but the second part of that node gives 4%... that would definitely be a start in diagnosing the issue. You need to get opportunist online.
Nice video! I satisfy all requirements for the “permaleke effect” but one thing I notice is normally my highest damage numbers that I am seeing are white numbers. I will need to turn off the normal and crit numbers to see if this is actually true but those are the figures that stand out to me right now. Any idea why this may be?
@giobbirs2150 Watch my video from a couple days ago on the trillion damage hits. Jaguar primary hall double dipping. But in order to test to make sure you have permaleke effect on, you need to see the overpowers. You can then turn off overpowers and turn on normal damage to see your trillions.
Can you explain how I have the permaleke effect with only 200 vigor? And also why my WHITE numbers are BY FAR my highest numbers rather than the orange numbers? Im using Harmony, Tyraels, Rod, Banished Lords, and Midnight Sun as my uniques. Excellent calculator btw. EDIT: Just did some testing, fully attacking the dummy with everything I got, showed only orange numbers to get the orange number results and showed only white numbers to get the white number results. Hopefully this helps: I have two fully masterworked Rods. The Old Rod is 17 resource, 187 crit, 77% chance to hit twice, 5 to Velocity, 2.6% aspect roll. The New Rod is 53 resource 133 crit, 68% chance to hit twice, 3 to Velocity, 3.0% aspect roll. OLD 2.6 roll rod, REVENGE glyph, 200 vigor = Permaleke effect, 2.76B highest orange hits on dummy, 102B highest white hits OLD 2.6 roll rod, MENAGERIST glyph, 216 vigor = Permaleke effect, 2.76B highest orange hits on dummy, 90.3B highest white hits NEW 3.0 roll rod, REVENGE glyph, 236 vigor = Permaleke effect, 4.98B highest orange hits on dummy, 160B highest white hits
@@OperatorOtter Just tested, you were right about that. Highest white hit on dummy was 1088B with revenge and 1328B with hubris. Any idea about the mystery I mentioned where I was getting permaleke effect with as low as 200 vigor? It wasnt a fluke either, I consistently got Permaleke effect changing gear and runes around around all the way from 200 to 240+.
Also In town your resource is lower than outside of town. The paragon node that gives you resource doesn’t show up unless you’re outside of town and that’s 40 Points if you have a shroud.
When I attack the training dummy I get perm orange even w/out the ravager activated, but in game I often see blue and sometimes no colors. Do you happen to know why?
How does the Yens Blessing boot factor into this? It has Resource Generation. Can we simply add it into calculator at the temper categroy or put it into the field for Shrod of false death?
Hi great video I have watched it a few times and run my numbers but I still dont think it is fully working for me. I have 47% on the ring. 654 int, 3 in vigorous, all 4 opportunist nodes and 16.3 res gen temper on a ring. Am I missing something else?

I understand the 240 vigor breakpoint. Does more max resource increase damage, if so by how much? for example if I had 300 vigor is that better than having 240?
@TheTerrafrostbyte Yes, the amount of vigor consumption working with banished lords and the amount modifying kepeleke are two independent mechanics. 240 turns on banished lords. 300 means you'll deal 25%[x] more damage then 240, and still turns on banished. They are independent systems.
If I am at the breakpoint, would a GA triple upgraded Rod to 95% to cast twice (but a 1.6% effect) be better than a non GA chance to hit twice with a 3%?
@@Nekrophil The 3% intrinsic rod will be MILES stronger than your ga 1.6%. Master work your non GA one, go to training dummy and watch the difference. It's wild.
What’s interesting, is I got a 2.4% and did the same with 2 MW to the GA, and I was able to clear pit 135 MUCH faster than thr 3% rod, and I turned white numbers on and they were in the trillions. I’d like you to revisit this, please, because the white numbers must be tied to the jaguar bonus tied to recent damage and recent damage is higher if I’m double hitting. I still die at the boss but I get there faster with my 2.4% GA chance to hit twice than my 3.0% not, which was close to my 1.6 triple buffed chance. Thanks for the reply and let me know what you find out! Turn white numbers on on the training dummy to see what I’m talking about. Chance to cast twice, master worked, with a decent roll > 3% is my hypothesis. But with only orange numbers on you wouldn’t ever notice.
Im running payback version and cant understand why i cant get permaleke. I have 22% overcap on resource generation, i have 296 Vigor, using shroud, and im still getting blue figures. Does the Vigor calculation work differently with payback?
What if I don't play through the ring of the sun? I play through two legendary rings for the sake of aspects, so they should be with the generation of resources from ga? I have a reduction in the waste of resources on each ring, is that okay?
Are the number the same for Touch of Death? Do you mind giving me the number thresholds for ToD? Im over 200 paragon. My ring is 47% and my vigor is 241. With ToD costing 73 vigor I'm having trouble figuring out the numbers. Thanks.
Ohhhh yea, it's an exponential damage gain. Standby for October 24th drop that will explain that because that concept is literally wild on how it works and the calculation by which it functions under.
You can and can't, it's based on LHC and it is the version the min/max pusher for leaderboards are using. But it can be inconsistent vs. lower amount of targets.
I couldn`t succed the constant 275 from amulet , i have 794 int and 22% resource cost reduction from rings , still seeing it goes down 3-4 times untril rach 275, Whats the point I am missing ? I have 255 paragon points atm and resource gen in paragon
If you are not running shroud of false death or resource gen in your rings. Then you only need 736 intelligence with 2 points of vigor. This means your midnight sun is lower than 50%. Assuming you are running 3 points into vigorous, my assumption is that your ring is 47% or lower. IF you are running shroud of false death, with the resource nodes and 794 int as you say, assuming a 12/12 mw shroud. Then the only way you are not hitting the mark is you don't have ANY points into vigorous and your midnight sun is 46% or below.
Make sure ravager is always on. Turn of Normal and Crit damage numbers. Turn on only overpower numbers. Attack dummy, is every attack orange? If yes - Your good to go If no - Then you do not have enough resource generation to support the intrinsic roll on midnight sun. Are you running midnight sun? If you are not - That version is lhc based, you will not have 100% uptime against single target. ^ Also Resource generation does absolutely nothing for that variant, you should have no resource gen anywhere in your build if you can help it.
That is because you do not need a calculator for that variant. The lowest LHC roll for resource return will restore all of your resource using the ravager, vigorous, and intelligence multipliers by themselves. The problem is it is LHC dependent and is inconsistent vs a low number of targets or when you one shot things. It only works well when you have density and are attacking multiple times. This is not practical for speed running or anything Pit 140 and below. Midnight sun will perform better in 95% of other content in game as it is rock solid dependable.

@Gpsi861 Check out newest video, and RCR does nothing to the required cost I believe. Can't say for sure because I have 300 vigor and tested at 240 with 14% rcr, but it still worked then.
Thank You for making the best video that explains the “permaleke” effect!! While I fully understand it, I really want to achieve it without the Ravenger 30%. Sometimes I forget to activate it. Is this possible? I’m using Yen’s and a ring temper. My Midnight is 50%. I realize I’ll probably have to craft a Shroud. Thanks!

Have 123 barrier regen. Use grand amethyst gems, and paragon nodes + tempers.

1) I have no problem reaching the regen necessary but I don't know exactly how to get to those 240 vigor.
2) is the overpower build viable only with peraleki but no 240 vigor or should I make the switch only after I got the 240?
Switching builds is so tedious in this game, I am dreading doing it again.
@user-ve4rd9uo2k I think the min/max for QV is 234, don't quote me on that. the way you get more resource is through 3 avenues:
1. GA max resource on kepeleke
2. Max resource on helm
3. Hubris in sapping board, the magic nodes give +17 each with hubris at level 100.

It's worth noting that you must have the Sapping node on the paragon board for this to work (even though it doesn't factor into the spreadsheet). If you take off that node, you do no damage.
@undeadamerican1107 Sapping does absolutely nothing to the resource generation of the build. As it states every 3rd attack will restore 15% of your vigior. But we need this on every single attack, not every 3rd. So it is not a part of our calculations.
@@OperatorOtter Understood. And yet the build doesn't work without it. I don't know why, but if you take off Sapping you'll end up with these dead periods of time where you don't do any damage (all white hits), sometimes it'll work, but sometimes it won't. Put Sapping back on and it works again. You can test it out if you like. Took me a while to figure out what was going on. But I can confirm it working that way on multiple characters.
@undeadamerican1107 Tested today in stream, permaleke effect worked WITHOUT sapping on. There's something else going on underneath the hood for your build unfortunately.
Hey, following your video (unselecting normal etc. damage numbers) it appears I can achieve the effect with midnight sun, but not if I use the starless setup with the % chance on the gloves. Is that working as intended and the additional max damage still makes it worthwhile or am I doing something wrong?

For 1 shot build, if i got +70% primary resource on lucky hit, does that mean i need only 30% resource generation?
If i got 51% resource generation does that mean i will gain 100% every 2 attacks? Regardless of lucky hit? How does that works? I want to min/max the resource generation stat.
Yen's Blessing Boots solved my permaleke problem, so probably resource generation related...

So first, thanks a lot for explaining this and have the calculator. Helps a ton. I did input everything as explained, I dont have False Death, but have ring with res gen temper. It shows -3.2 in False Death spot so I am assuming I should be hitting the "Permeleke" but when I go to the dummies, im still seeing blue #'s. Can't figure out what happend or what I did wrong? Max Vigor is 263, I do have a piece with resource reduction? Does that impact calculations? Also, my Opportunists Rare node shows 3.8% gen, not 8%??? Thanks!! Keep it up!
Means you don't have enough intelligence and/or strength to turn on opportunist. And if it says you are overlapped by 3.2%, but the second part of that node gives 4%... that would definitely be a start in diagnosing the issue. You need to get opportunist online.

Nice video! I satisfy all requirements for the “permaleke effect” but one thing I notice is normally my highest damage numbers that I am seeing are white numbers. I will need to turn off the normal and crit numbers to see if this is actually true but those are the figures that stand out to me right now. Any idea why this may be?
@giobbirs2150 Watch my video from a couple days ago on the trillion damage hits. Jaguar primary hall double dipping. But in order to test to make sure you have permaleke effect on, you need to see the overpowers. You can then turn off overpowers and turn on normal damage to see your trillions.

Have u tried payback build? U can get it up to like lvl 20 and it’s has huge base dmg and it can be a core skill.

Vigor/sec is a terrible stat unfortunately. It does nothing to play into the multiplication integers to make kepeleke do kepeleke things.

Can you explain how I have the permaleke effect with only 200 vigor? And also why my WHITE numbers are BY FAR my highest numbers rather than the orange numbers? Im using Harmony, Tyraels, Rod, Banished Lords, and Midnight Sun as my uniques. Excellent calculator btw.
EDIT: Just did some testing, fully attacking the dummy with everything I got, showed only orange numbers to get the orange number results and showed only white numbers to get the white number results. Hopefully this helps:
I have two fully masterworked Rods.
The Old Rod is 17 resource, 187 crit, 77% chance to hit twice, 5 to Velocity, 2.6% aspect roll.
The New Rod is 53 resource 133 crit, 68% chance to hit twice, 3 to Velocity, 3.0% aspect roll.
OLD 2.6 roll rod, REVENGE glyph, 200 vigor = Permaleke effect, 2.76B highest orange hits on dummy, 102B highest white hits
OLD 2.6 roll rod, MENAGERIST glyph, 216 vigor = Permaleke effect, 2.76B highest orange hits on dummy, 90.3B highest white hits
NEW 3.0 roll rod, REVENGE glyph, 236 vigor = Permaleke effect, 4.98B highest orange hits on dummy, 160B highest white hits

@@OperatorOtter Just tested, you were right about that. Highest white hit on dummy was 1088B with revenge and 1328B with hubris. Any idea about the mystery I mentioned where I was getting permaleke effect with as low as 200 vigor? It wasnt a fluke either, I consistently got Permaleke effect changing gear and runes around around all the way from 200 to 240+.

The paragon node that gives you resource doesn’t show up unless you’re outside of town and that’s 40

Absolutely! You can absolutely do that. (Just most people don't run Yen's anymore)

Hi great video I have watched it a few times and run my numbers but I still dont think it is fully working for me.
I have 47% on the ring. 654 int, 3 in vigorous, all 4 opportunist nodes and 16.3 res gen temper on a ring.
Am I missing something else?

I understand the 240 vigor breakpoint. Does more max resource increase damage, if so by how much? for example if I had 300 vigor is that better than having 240?
@TheTerrafrostbyte Yes, the amount of vigor consumption working with banished lords and the amount modifying kepeleke are two independent mechanics. 240 turns on banished lords. 300 means you'll deal 25%[x] more damage then 240, and still turns on banished. They are independent systems.

If I am at the breakpoint, would a GA triple upgraded Rod to 95% to cast twice (but a 1.6% effect) be better than a non GA chance to hit twice with a 3%?
@@Nekrophil The 3% intrinsic rod will be MILES stronger than your ga 1.6%. Master work your non GA one, go to training dummy and watch the difference. It's wild.
What’s interesting, is I got a 2.4% and did the same with 2 MW to the GA, and I was able to clear pit 135 MUCH faster than thr 3% rod, and I turned white numbers on and they were in the trillions. I’d like you to revisit this, please, because the white numbers must be tied to the jaguar bonus tied to recent damage and recent damage is higher if I’m double hitting. I still die at the boss but I get there faster with my 2.4% GA chance to hit twice than my 3.0% not, which was close to my 1.6 triple buffed chance.

Chance to cast twice, master worked, with a decent roll > 3% is my hypothesis.
But with only orange numbers on you wouldn’t ever notice.

Im running payback version and cant understand why i cant get permaleke.
I have 22% overcap on resource generation, i have 296 Vigor, using shroud, and im still getting blue figures. Does the Vigor calculation work differently with payback?
What if I don't play through the ring of the sun? I play through two legendary rings for the sake of aspects, so they should be with the generation of resources from ga? I have a reduction in the waste of resources on each ring, is that okay?
Are the number the same for Touch of Death? Do you mind giving me the number thresholds for ToD? Im over 200 paragon. My ring is 47% and my vigor is 241. With ToD costing 73 vigor I'm having trouble figuring out the numbers. Thanks.

You can and can't, it's based on LHC and it is the version the min/max pusher for leaderboards are using. But it can be inconsistent vs. lower amount of targets.
I couldn`t succed the constant 275 from amulet , i have 794 int and 22% resource cost reduction from rings , still seeing it goes down 3-4 times untril rach 275,

If you are not running shroud of false death or resource gen in your rings. Then you only need 736 intelligence with 2 points of vigor. This means your midnight sun is lower than 50%. Assuming you are running 3 points into vigorous, my assumption is that your ring is 47% or lower. IF you are running shroud of false death, with the resource nodes and 794 int as you say, assuming a 12/12 mw shroud. Then the only way you are not hitting the mark is you don't have ANY points into vigorous and your midnight sun is 46% or below.

Make sure ravager is always on.
Turn of Normal and Crit damage numbers. Turn on only overpower numbers.
Attack dummy, is every attack orange?
If yes - Your good to go
If no - Then you do not have enough resource generation to support the intrinsic roll on midnight sun.
Are you running midnight sun?
If you are not - That version is lhc based, you will not have 100% uptime against single target.
^ Also Resource generation does absolutely nothing for that variant, you should have no resource gen anywhere in your build if you can help it.

You need to use lucky hit to gain resource affix on your gloves.
so this calculator only works with the Midnight ring? it does not work with the build without using this ring?
That is because you do not need a calculator for that variant. The lowest LHC roll for resource return will restore all of your resource using the ravager, vigorous, and intelligence multipliers by themselves. The problem is it is LHC dependent and is inconsistent vs a low number of targets or when you one shot things. It only works well when you have density and are attacking multiple times. This is not practical for speed running or anything Pit 140 and below. Midnight sun will perform better in 95% of other content in game as it is rock solid dependable.
