I helped design this product back in the 90s at the Long Sutton cannery in Lincolnshire (England) we originally put proper bacon in it but the rotary cooking process broke it apart so we switched the
pretend bacon . I ate so much of that stuff during the development I cant eat it any more, but it is good stuff.

Your description of the sausages is perfectly accurate and is normal for a cheap English sausage. A proper sausage here is completely different. And I think the pork and egg nuggets are just a version of Scotch eggs.... a very poor version. I used to send these to my brother in America 'cause he loves them.

We call that sausage in Finland as Sister's sausage. It's made by yourself from sausage paste which you are supposed to boil in soup to get the sausageish texture and look. It's primarly used in soups.

Just make a proper English breakfast, so easy. Baked beans, eggs, Canadian bacon, sausage (beef hot dog is similar), tomatoes, mushrooms, and fried bread. Best breakfast ever (although too heavy LOL). Don't knock it until you have tried it, it's fantastic when properly prepared. Best eaten in UK ; ) Americans may not appreciate it. It can be had all over Africa in the former British colony countries, very authentic. Love it!

I would insist on a hash brown or two as well. Tried the Scottish version (with added black pudding) once. Can't say I became a fan of this take on the blood sausage concept or having it for breakfast (the rest was good, though). I prefer my native blood sausage variant which is made with rye flour and barley "flakes" (similar to oatmeal) and flavoured with caramelised sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, and raisins (because the blood in the sausage really doesn't taste of much or that good by itself).

at one point i didn't get a chance to go shopping, and i had run out of food in the house, except these tins of hunger breaks, different types too, i believe one is called "the full monty", let me tell you, that was about three years ago, and i still get a cramp in my stomach just thinking about them.

The 'bacon' looks more like the Strasbourg sausage in a vacuum pack you find in a supermarket. I love my canned baked beans mixed with other stuff but I don't buy it in cans like that. I'd rather add sausage, meatballs and bacon to ordinary baked beans - a much more satisfying result.
A few years ago Heinz in Australia launched baked beans (and spaghetti) with added sausages or meatballs. Tried it and while the beans or pasta was the same the meat products - well it's like Homer Simpson with a plain rice cake.

Canadian bacon....my 16 year old even knew that.
Anyway the meat flavor gets lost as it's all in a can mixed in with other stuff. Also the SAUSAGE if this an European variant of it, it does not taste anything CLOSE to what it taste like in the USA.
I even had to get used to the USA break-fast sausages when i had them for the first time (fennel taste)
