As a person new to this style, I am looking for the most simple pattern for a project. I crochet handbags for myself and gifts and I think this would make a beautiful purse. Due to your fantastic instructions I think I’m ready to begin. Thank you so much Courtney! ❤️
Thank you so much Yes! 😘😘 Yes I agree this is perfect for a newbie, the repeats are short and it doesn't have a lot of rows. It's very easy to get the hang of for practice and by the time you are finished you will be pro!
Beautiful! I have fallen in love with mosaic crochet! Have only made two pieces so far - a zippered coin purse and a zippered purse, both in Apache Tears. That were for my baby sister for Christmas. Several of her friends have asked if I would make purses for them. This pattern would make a gorgeous purse and I will be trying it next. Thank you for your excellent teaching and for sharing your gift with us!

Thank you for the video! I just discovered it. The pattern is realy pretty and perhaps it's not the best for a beginning. I'm stuck on row 3. I have 22 stitches and don't end up where you do in the video. I should probably do a beginner video for mosaics before trying this again. Thanks again! I hope to graduate and be able to try this one again
It's an easy mistake to make. And I believe in you, you CAN do this. If you would like to send me a picture and get one on one help you can message me on Instagram and i will accept it right away Or you can message me on etsy with a picture of your work so I can look for the mistake. Most likely you either didn't get the starting chain correct or you have a mistake at the point where the repeat ends and begins again. I can help you though if you would like.
Also to add to this in case you see it, 22 stitches wouldn't be correct. The repeat is 10 stitches long. We add 4 stitches to the end, 1 of those is used as a turning chain to start Row 1, the other 3 stitches become your traditional sc at Row start, and Row end and the 3rd one comes the 2nd to Last stitch at your row end so on a 2 repeat swatch, you will have 23 total stitches.
@@FiberFoxStudios Awww, thank you so much for the reply! I decided to take it apart and when I did I counted the stitches again and they were short. I'm not giving up and especially now after I saw your message. I can do this! This isn't rocket science. I might add I'm doing the FLAT version of this. I'll send an update when I'm able to get to row 3 with 23 stitches :)
