The border is done by stopping at Row 9, working in the round. All I do is count my stitches on the sides and then I figure out where I should start and stop the pattern based on my stitch count on the project. Hope this helps.
Can we see the chart of the patterns you do, I would like to know how to read it in charts. I wonderstand totaly what you say but it's not clear in my head vs a chart ;) **I'm left handed Thank you Julie
I would love a tutorial for the border of this writing it down doesn’t sometimes work in my head I have to visually see it it’s just a suggestion but it would be nice
My problem is... I never know what kind of yarn to buy.. I just buy whatever I see in store which is a Walmart and a Joann fabrics and I feel there isn't a very big selection... I can never find the colors I want t or enough if the same. I see some really nice yarn..... I see I have a lot of Lear I g to do. Some yarn just look better and for me is a texture thing. I am weird with the fell if things and the sound of it rubbing or being pulled, I know crazy... My favorite is what I macrame with, it is heavy to make certain things in my opinion..

Love a square/rectangular pattern. Working up your last pattern as placemats in cotton - blue and tan. Thanks.

Took me a bit to notice how do we do the border? Is it shown on a purchased pattern? I love the border. :)
