I played this when I was young on organ strict to the rules of the baroque but on the piano it becomes another dimension for me. I adore playing with the freedom of the old Russian school. I feel that I belong in that time era. Now I just close my eyes and play. I hope you will enjoy.

@@michieldpiano It's ok if you leave trills! I do, or play them my way especially on left hand, haha!

Bach was always striving to express true love in all his music. That's why the instrument doesn't matter as much as the message you feel in all his works. The message of love, joy, devotion and healing.

A deep felt interpretation of Bach, in a way, seldom heard today. Reminiscent on the pianists of the past. With uncompromising vision in polyphony and tone-colors. A terrific recording technically, and a high artistic approach morally. Bravo to Bach/ bravo to the interpreter.

Your interpretation is amazing. C'est absolument sublime! Always thought Feinberg was underrated compared to Siloti and Busoni in terms of Bach transcriptions.

Merci beaucoup! Feinberg influenced my playing a lot. His Well Tempered Clavier made me think different about pianism, pedalling and tone. Feinberg is to me together with Sofronitsky, Rachmaninoff, Hoffman and Lipatti the greatest pianist. His Schumann is just divine.

@@michieldpiano Yes, his Bach recordings and Scriabin have definitely influenced me a lot too, probably more than Sofronitsky. You have very nice recordings on here, keep it up!
