The items you gift to your friends or other players will only show up on their pawn rewards once you've made a hard save by sleeping at an inn/your bed, that's when the game registers that the item has been given. Otherwise you could gift a port crystal, reload to an inn save and not lose anything. It's immediate, I've done plenty of tests via Steam Family sharing, you just have to give the item then sleep at an inn/bed and then the recipient has to do the same and they'll get the item.
I will speak for myself, of course, but I find your DD2 videos very comforting. A perfect way to spend time while waiting for new updates and DLC news. Thanks for another cool video dude, love your delivery a lot 👍👍👍

Location based npc dialogue applies to all of them too. Especially merchants. For the research lab, if you don't encounter the guard at the top of the stairs, you can go wherever you want, nobody attacks you. For Vernworth castle, if it is daytime, you can go anywhere in there. Only inside the castle building itself is risky at night. The key is the music changes.

when you get to NG+ you can go to bakbatahl and unlock the giant door early that you’d originally only unlock at the end of the main story since the godsbane carries over, so you can have another shortcut to the volcanic island without having to go through drabnir’s grotto

Using silencing spell was a shocker as I equipped it yesterday and honestly was worth it against the drake. Though pretty specific is more fun to shut those lizards and skeleton mages up so that they don’t aggravate your fight gameplay

About the sending and receiving gift mechanic (also pawn quest updates). You have to 1. Give the gift or quest item , dismiss the pawn , and sleep on the bed . 2. The owner of your hired pawn sleeps on a bed . And done

To get Emerich to hand over his clothes, you first have to do the little hidden quest to purchase 3 newt liquors. At higg's tavern stand, not far from the dye area, carry the small bag into the fenced off area while wearing a beastren mask. Then purchase the newt liquor, and next time you attack Emerich at night, the dialogue should start. You may also have to have started/completed "A Veil of Gossamer clouds" quest.
Has anyone mentioned you can use the trebuchets in Ancient Battleground to open up a new path and reveal some treasures? Just keep putting stones in them and see what happens.

Infiltration really hits weird in this game. I can run with my normal gear in a "restricted" area. But as long as I don't talk to anyone directly who is not a quest-giver, nobody seems to really mind me being there. Its only at some random moments somebody will start attacking me, but mostly of the time they just completely ignore me.
I never even knew you were supposed to use a mask in the forbidden research lab. Both of my first 2 playthroughs I went in there like I owned the place an no one said a thing to me lol they straight up didn't care that I was there.
With Emerich I'm pretty sure you have to buy the Newt liqueur from the ''black market'' spot three times and then they get raided. after this I think you just do a normal jump grab like you're arresting Emerich and you should get it.
Update just added Lordly and Bandit Eyepatch. Bandit Eye patch can be obtained from Isaac's Wares AFTER Hugo is given the shop by finishing Isaac's quest as he asks and not his wife. After this, at any point if Hugo is alive and reaches the point where he needs a job, send him there. Lordly eyepatch, Sold by the Merchant in Agamen Excavation Site, right next to the Apothecary.

Just yesterday I found out Trysha's ring can be given to Myrridin to unlock his maister teaching if you let him know you got meteoron from Trysha. Also, it seems Myrridin has an advanced form of maelstrom. This has to be unlockable in an upcoming DLC, right?

As far as I know, the other ones are not obtainable through legit means (Lordly eyepatch and Bandit eyepatch). I see some player-made pawns wearing it but there's a good chance their Arisen got them with the help of mods. Nobody knows (or shares the knowledge) where to get them in the game lol
I finally started NG+ and I thought it was interesting that you could use the godsway blade to kill yourself early. Unfortunately, you can’t go back to the unmoored world right away. I also noticed that the merchants in Vernworth now sell some of the suped up weapons and armor so my goal is to get their affinity up high so I can get the stuff for cheap. Also, is there a way to break the ancestral door open early? The one that lets you travel to sacred arbor from Melve? I spent a while trying to shoot ricochet shot at it because no skeletons were spawning on the other side. I thought it would be cool to go to the elf town before doing the Travel to Vernworth quest in Melve.
On New Game + you can use your Empowered Godsbane Blade to open the big door in Bakbattahl early, before the quest to get it, allowing you to travel the bridge path to the Volcanic Islands instead of going through the big dungeon pass again.

4:30 May that's a bug in my game, but no matter which playthrough or at any point in the story, nobody tries to arrest me. The lab, the flophouse, the masked ball, or the castle, they all change the music, but nobody ever arrested me there. At first I tried to be sneaky, but after a few attempts I noticed nobody trys to get me anyway. So yeah, nice mask, but I never had the need for it. And at 8:30, yes, it works. It's a mechanic that was also in the first game, and I used it quite a lot in DD2.
Same here, or rather, I only get arrested in the Castle and Masquerade, but not the Forbidden Magic Lab. Never needed the Mask for the Lab in all 3 of my playthroughs and 300+ hours.
It really depends on distant and time with NPC in all places you shouldn’t be including the Goal , if your lantern is on and you stand close for a specific period of time they start attacking you if you don’t you don’t lol , same as entering the castle in Ven , if the lantern off. And you run fast passed the hard you’ll pass , if it’s on or your a tiny bit slower, the doors will be locked and you got to take the side ones.
pretty sure that was just for the one quest in the story before it flies off to bluemoon tower and wasn’t actually a fleshed out mechanic. in DD2, it is a mechanic that killing an ox will usually spawn a griffin
the gifting taking a long time to recieve i think thats a console thing, coz in steam u get it without any delay, the second the giver sleeps at an inn the item is already available to recieve.
Mate you can create a new player quest guide! Just make sure to have them in the correct order, as despite waching a guide for certain quests I managed to brick one of them.
You didn't want to spoil boss encounters. You can't spoil anything that isn't new. Let me help you... remember that Ogre, or Bird, you fought probably 10x's randomly walking through the wilderness? Okay, well.....surprise!!!! There are no surprise encounters, just same Ole same ole.
Nah, mountain pass encounters hit different and feel extra epic with all the dramatic weather. Especially the one where you fight two (three?) bosses at the same time.
@MightyMelvo I didn't get that feeling. I went through there during the night and also the day. The rain made things tricky but wasn't so epic that I was like, "OH wow, this is different." I just wanted it over with so I get keep moving. But again, that's just me. I'm not easily impressed by repetitive boss encounters.
Of all the games to not have constant updates, because I keep playing this. I was under the impression there’d been a leak and the DLC was planned for November. Given that you might need to try and branch out into other games. I mean if you’re going to played Erd Tree there yah go. I myself am playing Infinite Wealth and Dave the Diver…. I watch game content in general.
I’m my opinion make videos where they can farm like dragons a very decent one for average players and make one for each like all materials and gold and vocation just everything in my opinion bc everything is all outdated and they don’t work very well
I really enjoyed dumping a ton of time into this game. and then as I neared the ending, I decided to clean up the remainder of the pre endgame content... and the game bugged and wiped out swaths of content through no fault of my own. dozens of meticulously careful plodding through this game to avoid the plague and not let npc die needlessly.... for nothing. horrible way for the end of this fun game to be ruined.
Bruh! When you find out how to get the Lordly Eye Patch or the Bandit's Eye Patch, you better publicize a video on how to get them and we will not see that as milking it for views. By the way, receiving items from players doesn't have to take time. The player/friend that is sending you an item through the hired pawn, needs to do a hard save in game by resting at the inn or at a home after dismissing your pawn with the item.

That's pretty wild about the lordly eye patch. The lordly eye patch was for sale in my game on NG+1 at the excavation site.
I'm pretty sure it was patched in later with one of the updates (three items in total: lordly eyepatch, comforting neckwrap and venator's leggings)

If you have to do an escort quest just grab the npc and use a ferrystone to teleport to the location if you don't wanna walk them all the way there.
You don't even need to grab them, they just have to be close enough to you and they'll lteleport with you

4:30 You need to progress the story to enter batahl legitimately in order to get his clothes via intimidatation. Otherwise it wont work.

Does the thief mask also conceal since I went into the lab without anyone bothering me.
I never had an issue getting into the research lab didn’t know you needed a mask. They would just ignore me.

It really depends on distant and time with NPC in all places you shouldn’t be including the Goal , if your lantern is on and you stand close for a specific period of time they start attacking you if you don’t you don’t lol , same as entering the castle in Ven , if the lantern off. And you run fast passed the hard you’ll pass , if it’s on or your a tiny bit slower, the doors will be locked and you got to take the side ones.

pretty sure that was just for the one quest in the story before it flies off to bluemoon tower and wasn’t actually a fleshed out mechanic. in DD2, it is a mechanic that killing an ox will usually spawn a griffin

the gifting taking a long time to recieve i think thats a console thing, coz in steam u get it without any delay, the second the giver sleeps at an inn the item is already available to recieve.

Mate you can create a new player quest guide! Just make sure to have them in the correct order, as despite waching a guide for certain quests I managed to brick one of them.

I've never tried but some people say you can dupe Jadite Orb with the Sphinx and give both guys legit copies :)

There are no surprise encounters, just same Ole same ole.
Nah, mountain pass encounters hit different and feel extra epic with all the dramatic weather. Especially the one where you fight two (three?) bosses at the same time.
@MightyMelvo I didn't get that feeling. I went through there during the night and also the day. The rain made things tricky but wasn't so epic that I was like, "OH wow, this is different."
I just wanted it over with so I get keep moving. But again, that's just me. I'm not easily impressed by repetitive boss encounters.

Of all the games to not have constant updates, because I keep playing this. I was under the impression there’d been a leak and the DLC was planned for November. Given that you might need to try and branch out into other games. I mean if you’re going to played Erd Tree there yah go.

I really enjoyed dumping a ton of time into this game. and then as I neared the ending, I decided to clean up the remainder of the pre endgame content... and the game bugged and wiped out swaths of content through no fault of my own. dozens of meticulously careful plodding through this game to avoid the plague and not let npc die needlessly.... for nothing. horrible way for the end of this fun game to be ruined.
Bruh! When you find out how to get the Lordly Eye Patch or the Bandit's Eye Patch, you better publicize a video on how to get them and we will not see that as milking it for views. By the way, receiving items from players doesn't have to take time. The player/friend that is sending you an item through the hired pawn, needs to do a hard save in game by resting at the inn or at a home after dismissing your pawn with the item.
