In light of the recent video, I just want to thank you Infinite Cringe for these great videos. Even if you didn't like how some turned out, I enjoyed them all. All the best.
I want to echo this sentiment and say that hearing Infinite Cringe say she wasn't satisfied with her videos legit made me kinda sad because of how much I liked them. I respect her choice but I just really wish she saw her vids for what they are, which is great.
Oblivion was also my first RPG. My character was an Argonian whose face was always too small. It was my favorite game until my older brother let me play Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen one day. Now, we both begin our Dragon's Dogma 2 playthrough (can't wait for the broken augments and skills).
Vengeful slash is so stupidly safe. While it does drain stamina while in its stance its so little that i often found myself unpunished for just standing there for 2 whole seconds. While I found Hindsight slash much more fun to use I felt like I was making things more difficult for myself without needing to. The knockdown power of vengeful can also not be understated its insane against anything but golems and maybe drakes. I really wish it acted more like a traditional parry because right now it essentially makes you invincible while waiting for some idiot to hit your shield. The reverse is also true: bandits that use this skill are annoying a hell to deal with cause there is nothing you can do but wait (unless you can grab them out of it but Im pretty sure you cant). Its an amazing skill that the fighter kind of needs. Its my favourite vocation as well but I do feel as though it has to work much harder than other vocations like thief or even warrior. Really wish Dragon's Maw was here but perhaps in nerfed form (the I frames were a little insane lol) cause the new maister skill feels a bit too punishing. done.
I much prefer fighter to warrior. I see the potential of warrior but it's way too slow for me. It does get better once you level it halfway but I personally can do more damage with fighter. Because 5 swings that connect are way more efficient than 1 that misses lol
When I see or hear people say "They dumbed down fighter and gave it less skills" it shocks me. They consolidated ALOT of skills for convenience and improved on them significantly. I'd argue that all the skills are usable AND fun now depending on your playstyle. Especially with the new changes to stats and combat. Amazing video as always Cringe, thank you for all you do!
This video was going to be entertaining, you're just too good for that to not happen. But actually having real, cleanly visible and appropriate clips for everything you described was just top tier. I don't even have the game and my skills have already improved just from watching this video.
Very underrated augment I think you should run on fighter is Asperity, which increases the likelihood to inflict debilitation with your attacks by 20%. So you can burn, freeze, and stun enemies way faster. This video has really solidified my appreciation for fighter as vocation. From the bottom of my heart (Arisen: If I have one!!!) Thank you
My favorite skill to combo with tusk toss is cloudward slash. Charging it up right after you use the skill lets you use tusk toss when you hit the ground. Spamming this can knockdown large enemies extremely quick especially if you keep hitting their weakpoints.
I also have come to love this vocation and I thought thief was my favorite, but it’s just so cool and so much fun to do that perfect parry, the fighter has a lot of bad ass moves
I swear ever since the first game's tutorials and story analysis, I think your channel is absurdly deep, especially for such a niche franchise. Great work
Your dd expertise and humor/montage quality has always gone up trough the years. And your voice is pure asmr too. Hope we'll get a dlc covered by your vids
Parrying really is addicting and it pairs well with fist fighting. For NG+ I'm doing a Wayfinder build consisting only of a Shield with 2 Shield-Based attacks and a Mage's Staff for Celerity. It works for most enemies but I do need to keep an extra weapon on me for Dragons and Griffins. I really hope we get DLC that lets us buff fist attacks or adds fist weapons.
what an amazing video, ill be watching it like im studying for an exam, i started a solo fighter run cause of your streams and videos and hot damn am i struggling, but now with this video the struggle is replaced with sonic ost
Utter perfection, brings a tear to my eye to see someone playing Fighter so versatily. Fighter has always been my favorite vocation, as a SnS player of Monster Hunter, makes me happy seeing it in the spotlight. Bravo! Bravo! 👏👏👏👏👏
I had a blast on my first playthrough as a fighter got all the good shit from the forge and now I move onto the bow not guna lie I have been enjoying the bow to not be close to thy enemies and still fell them ti's nice
Went a whole NG+ as fighter without the shield, as fun as it was playing as an assassin gouging enemies and dodging with hindsight sweep... Its just not the same as true deflecting, plus there's no real benefit to playing without a shield which I'm surprised there isn't a ring or something for that.
I didn't know I could deflect Golem lasers. That is so badass! Also, I love Full Moon so much because it has one of the smallest delay at the end. Burst Strike and Tusk Toss both have a lot of huge delay after using it, which leaves you open a lot. Full Moon doesn't have that as much. I'm glad you featured it and gave it the compliments it deserves, since I've seen people calling the skill bad just because it doesn't have the i-frames (skill issue, I say).
24:07 Did I just see you knock someone into the air only for Chonk Lord to throw strings at them and pull them back down straight into your execution? ...Fuck, I might need to get this game, that was really cool.
Awesome guide! (as always) Learned a few things I didn't know yet. RIP Lethality, I didn't realize it was such little damage... oh well, opens a slot for something better! Keep being awesome!
Damn i love this game. More then 100 hours and it felt like 10 and I still cant get enough. Cant waith for a dlc or maybe even an expansion to came out
Man, I love fighter so much in dd2, since we dont have magicc knight this is really the parry king, HOWEVER it just got most of the buffs in the recent update lol, idk why felt strong already, I think they're probably S tier now
I love DD2 Fighter, but the 4 skills slot did hurt my enjoyment when I have to choose between both shield and weapon skill. Still, everything about it is godly when landing hits and perfect blocks. Only other vocation that makes me feel this rush is Warrior and the Deathly Arrow timing on Archer.
i may not have DD2 (the monster variety can be better), but i do have an idea of what equipment i'd have: - Iron/Stalwart Sword. - Dragon's Faith shield. - Fiendish Armet. - Thrasher's Surcoat. - Brutal Cuisses. - Wyrmhunter's Cloak. now then... any news on the DLC? i haven't been keeping up.
What a great video! Very well structured and entertaining. Thank you! You've got another subscriber, I even tried to download the sponsor but it seems the promo has ended.
If a Warrior guide comes out, I guarantee it'll be 90% jump attacks because that's how a Warrior player's brain is written. I know because I am one, since the ol days of being so slow that the fight is already over before I even landed a hit
Been waiting for this and it didn't disappoint! 🙇 What I just can't figure out is: if running a main character at minimum size and weight breakpoints, does it ever make sense to cut our losses and dump knockdown power or knockdown resistance, focusing instead on one of the other fighter styles (maybe drawing aggro for the right pawns?)? Are you seeing any ways that bonus climb speed, quicker stamina recovery and the small-profile offer anything notable in changing up a fighter's playstyle at all? Or is it just hard mode at that point?
Fighter went from one of my least favorite classes from the previous game to my favorite in DD2. I knew exactly who to go to in order to learn the ways of the fighting man. From the best damn fighting woman I know.
sword and shield is vanilla and vanilla is my favorite flavor and then you have the charge blade from monster hunter, which is like, vanilla concentrate
Do you plan on making more vids like this for other vocations? I’d really love it if you did because your vids are so informative and well made that I’d love to see more vids like this for other vocations. Personally I’d love a vid on trickster or Warrior, as I struggle playing trickster right and many seem to struggle playing warrior right too
I was going to go for a virgin thief after having my fun with warrior in an attempt to re-live the strider glory days but I have now seen the light and will of course go for chad fighter. Blessed be the fruit
Wait, you don't use the i-frames from hindsight to avoid drake roars? I thought that was standard tech? It also works for basically everything else that isn't meteor or a breath/beam attack, although depending on the attack and positioning it can also work there.
I'm completely blown away that dd2 now has fewer armor slots than fucking skyrim of all things. I don't want games to keep doing this please, I miss being able to pair pants with boots and shirts with chest armor, not to mention fucking gloves of all things.
@@naf8787 having two separate gloves, multiple rings, necklace, belt, undershirt and pants is one of my favorite things about morrowind, I only played it for the first time last year but I absolutely love it.

As an Archer I really appreciate this guide for fighter. I really like how DD2 made fighter and was way more fun than I first thought. I think that now after my 5th NG+, I'm gonna give fighter a go for a bit. Do you use any mods to get rid of that shimmer?
I will never get bored of seeing these dd2 montages to sonic music
real
Great use off FF16's "Away" too
the sonic black knight ost is a fkn throwback hoooly
I thought that was from Black Dawn 🤔
Not the best game but the soundtrack fucking slaps.
Thank you queen for bestowing your knowledge upon us and bringing out the inner chad in all of us ❤
How can you say this when there was not a single toe in this show?
How can i be such a big fan of you two considering how especific are the niches? 😂
Since watching this guide, I now only miss 99.9% of my Riotous Fury!
10/10 will recommend.
Everytime i watch your videos i just magically find myself downloading dragons dogma 2 again. It's magical

Gotta say, you are the only youtuber that make me wanna go back to this game
This is easily the most detailed and thorough fighter guide on UA-cam. Thanks a ton. Liked and Subbed.
Best class guide I’ve seen so far for this game. Felt like there was so much more love put into it than the others I’ve seen.
Sonic and the Black Knight music? You got good taste.

Holy fuck that ending was hype, as always surpassing yourself that was amazing
Fighter is glorious. Ive started maining it now. However im forever going to miss mystic knight.

- Iron/Stalwart Sword.
- Dragon's Faith shield.
- Fiendish Armet.
- Thrasher's Surcoat.
- Brutal Cuisses.
- Wyrmhunter's Cloak.

God mode in the rain & parry brain rot. I love your philosophies
Can't wait the mystic spearhand verison of this
she already made a mystic spearhand guide
TLDW: Fighter is the fucking best.
This is exactly how I feel with fantasy games
I know you have two more beautiful chonky sons, but did you really have to chuck our lord and saviour of the cliff like that?
Steeled Foundation is 100% a tribute to our good old Cpt. America xD
Honestly agree, I love all the classes in this game but Fighter just lovestruck me ever since the original Dragon's Dogma.
