Like even you mention, due to being piece of crap communication on Capcoms side, your channel is pretty much the only thing I follow on DD2. Great work as I don't even need to try updates and be disappointed by what was updated, your videos are extremely well done and concise. Except I would disagree with few statements First off, I was a DD:DA fan (it is easy to find my YT channel and see how many DD videos I made), while DD2... nope, didn't even finish it. Mostly because even when I started playing DD2, I had nagging feeling like it was Itsuno being biggest dick with humoungous hubris and he only wanted to prove his points. For that you have to look at DD, DD:DA and DD2 separately as one of them is not Itsunos work First DD. Most acclaimed features were - diverse and beautiful world where you don't need fast travel (proven wrong... even DD1 still has one of the most beautiful worlds of all games I've played because let's face it, even though world is complex I could load up save look around me and know exact position without ever looking the map which I doubt I played another RPG with such world distinctiveness... DD2 doesn't come close. And when you've seen it enough times, everything will be bland). So... his world is beautiful and people can enjoy travel without warping... FAIL!!! - pawn system... one look at majority videos made by community... solo play... FAIL!!! - Added hard mode... Due to broken math it only worked once gear and level caught up with mode... 1/5th success. In DD1... level up and DCP grinding was simply nonsense chore which really hampered hard mode. Until you hit level 40 or so and had good enough weapons... HM was pretty much one touch death. And reaching that in base game was a long way from start - majority of people complaints were due to lack of fast travel and warrior having 3 skills only - Story sucked, but at least it barely disturbed the play Now DD:DA - Added new boss monsters, but most importantly fixed hard mode as it provided ability to gear up and level fast from get go as long as you took some risks. It even provided option to get 2 DCP rings from start to make DCP grinding bearable. - Added arena like challenges, not only were rooms simple arenas, there were even spaces where challenge changed each time you entered and even then incense decided on challenge levels - Didn't really add the story So, what could Itsuno learn if he went with "customer is always right"? - People want to replay the game and fast travel is simply must have as once you've seen it, no one wants to run 10-30 minutes just to reach next point of challenge - Maybe AI is not good enough and people prefer playing solo? - People disliked skill limited class Now look at changes in DD2. Everything is like Itsuno trying to force people to like his failed babies. - Classes are one trick pony with 4 skills... while Warfarer which would be only option is hampered to lack of skills and even clumsier weapon switch if you want 4th skill (probably Itsuno screaming "Look how awesome my pawn system is") - Augments are... ok, I still don't know what they are. All boosting augments are static and as such they only play role at low level and periapts are pretty much useless (Itsuno screaming the same thing, except now he is dancing dressed in miniskirt and waving with fluffs on his hands) - Still no fast travel (Itsuno grinning "Ain't my environment awesome?") - Story sucks even more, except now it is thrown in your face and unavoidable unbearable shit - DD2 even removed all solo play boosting augments and removed low HP boosts He simply didn't look what people want, but wanted to prove his failed concepts are not failed and there is no better way than forcing people in his way. Well, it seems majority rather stopped playing. All the changes are there to prevent his babies fail again As far as hard mode which would make DD2 actually playable. That would be trivial minimal changes. - HP gains should be reduced on level up by gaussian function, and enemies should simply gain that much HP in % as well. As such, enemies would not be unmoveable 1 damage like in DD1 hard mode where they simply added armor stat and no starter weapon even reached that - change boosts back to % and return back augments like exilaration and autonomy but, in the end I am not even the least surprised that Itsuno quit. He probably felt really aggrieved because his babies failed for the second time

DD1 it’s all about dark arisen and bitterblack isle, a progressive dungeon that is unpredictable and different most times, death, many many mini bosses made dragons dogma, I spent 95% of my time in bitterblack isle trying to achieve that next gear tier, or that elusive piece

i can't get wild loot to work, it says one pak mod at a time cancelling. everything else works. i have an item tweaks xapi and scriptcore that are all working slider working but when i tick wild loot i get that error. ugh plz respond lol thanks

If you have never played dragons dogma 1 and 2 looks good to you, do yourself a favor and just get dark arisen

As a day one dragons dogma player I don't hate 2 but seeing it fall short and not improve much is sad. And then the director says that DD2 was he wanted and he dips right after. Seems sus. it's just a painfully mid game to me when it could have been great

Want a hard mode? Equip basic drip and don't upgrade any of it. Don't slot OP abilities.

What I find aggravating is if you let a fart at the wrong time of day, you will miss out on a quest. I paid a lot of money for that quest. I want to see it and I want to enjoy it. I don’t like that about the game.

The game is not perfect but damn is it fun, the pawns are amazing it’s like they’re real. This was an incredible video I’ll be looking for more of your content!

Dragons Dogma was a good game before Dark Arisen. I like Bitterblack isle as much as the next guy, but lets not act like OG DD wasnt goid without it!

Got in on Xbox series x. Day one. Stopped playing it after one hour. FPS was bad. My friend has it at the moment but he said it was good. So I will give it a go again when I get it back.

It now needs content not patches.

Perfect performance is crazy. this game runs like shit dude. I’m so sad because DDDA is one of my favorite RPGS ever and I can’t stop replaying it. I run it at maxed out settings with maxed out fps and the game is less blurry and looks better than DD2. I can barely hit 50fps on DD2. I’m genuinely so fucking sick of AAA games atp I don’t know why I get attached to these IP’s because it always ends in frustration.
