Thanks for the recipe! Intuitive cooking involves all senses of seeing, touching, smelling, tasting and listening. In the absence of music and commentary, the sound of the cooking provided a fresh yet very nostalgic perspective ... like listening to loved ones preparing a thoughtful meal in the kitchen. Regards.

I've had takoyaki at a food court in Mitsuwa Market here in California. It was a little spot where they also made okonomiyaki, but I just HAD to have the takoyaki. Worth every penny. My husband is always a little reserved at trying new things, but he absolutely adored it as well. Hot, fresh, and delicious!

I like it better with music and talking. I've been craving takoyaki lately but the takoyaki stand where I'm at opens really late like after 5 or something so this definitely made my day. must smell so good :)

Made my first batch after getting my takoyaki maker from Amazon ($29). I went to my local Asian market for the ingredients. They had almost everything I needed. I would recommend for those not proficient with chop sticks to use a very small silicon spatula. Thank you for your wonderful recipe! Love this channel 😀

Delicious!!!! I had several combinations and can't get over how lovely, delicious, and versatile takoyaki is. In a pinch you can throw in hot dogs, corn, and cheese. And then top it off with thin threads of ketchup or mayo. You can go the sweet route too and put in chocolate chips and top it off with syrup or Nutella. The combinations are endless! Thanks so much for showing your method. I really appreciate it as sometimes our local store here runs out of the takoyaki batter. Keep up the great work!!!

Looks so nice and tasty, unlike what we have here in Thailand it's almost always much more oily. I had Takoyaki in a palour named Takoyaki once in Shinjuku, they have pink pickled ginger in them takoyakis too-this video reminds me of that, and oh how I wish I could just be there now! Thank you guys!!

There are many vids out here on how to make these octopus balls but yours was the most complete, I thought. Thank you.
I won't be making these anytime soon nor would I really want to try them. But the making of them sure is FASCINATING.
IF I were to purchase a special pan and try making these, I would use pieces of LOBSTER rather than octopus. Think that would be yummy 😋. Thanks again for all your hard work.

I really like this format of videos, it was very helpful. In my country it's actually quite expensive and difficult to make a Takoyaki cuz of the fact that you have to get your ingredients from a rare specialty stores, and we do not have this type of pan to fry them, but even when I tried once doing it in cupcake maker I screwed it up and didn't know why XD But now when I watched this i know what I did wrong, so thanks and I hope to see more videos like this.
