Orlando is one of the nicest chefs I have ever seen in the series. Very talented, passionate and eager to learn, not many chefs are this open minded.
Watching restaurant nightmares is a good way to lose weight. After watching what is going on in some of these kitchens, takes the desire of eating out away. The duck needs to be served with a stomach pump.
Where are the health inspectors?
@@marycalmeiro1135 Yeah, I was hardly ever into restaurant and club culture. Still whenever it was unavoidable, I mostly ordered the least processed foods like tea or fresh fruit juice. I literally learned cooking, cleaning and housekeeping to remain self-dependent as long as my body allows. Interesting fact is about 80% of Kitchen nightmares featured restaurants were closed off after the show, because they were either just too far gone down the ground o the owners/chefs reverted back to old habits again. In a country where they can’t tell where the fuck in the world they are, you start a Danish restaurant with a Cuban cook.
Florida is a state where half the residents didn't even know they're in Florida.
And they decided to serve the blandest and most elderly-looking dishes in Danish cuisine.
Almost as bland and eldery-looking as the people who live there

Btw, I said I enjoy Florida. If you ask me what country I love I would have to say Sweden with Norway very very close (it may be the other way around if I spoke Norwegian instead of Swedish.) Living in Stockholm for a year as a student was one of my nicest years of my life ❤️. (I had already studied 1,5-2y of Swedish at university prior to doing a few courses there, which helped greatly as all my courses were in Swedish. No exception and I only used English with other exchange students. Had I failed because I thought I was better at Swedish than Iwae, well too bad for me, but then I shouldn’t have applied as I knew beforehand it would be fully in Swedish.
It was great speaking my favorite language for a year and also be able to make more Swedish friends that way, and not just be restricted to international students. The Swedes seemed more open to a foreigner who spoke their language as apparently they are pretty selfconscious about their English and rather not need to use it. (Average person). That notion was told by a Swede 4years prior to me moving there, which is now 26y so things could very well be very different now with social media. the fact that gordon stayed so calm during that fire shows more than professionalism, thats straight up braveness. Oil fires are no joke.
he probably has seen it a dozen times .. but iam still wondering why a kitchen that size doesn't have fire extinguishers. Much safer then the bucket of water near friers
Firefighter here: oil fires are no joke as any fire. But oil fires only get dangerous because someone did not stay calm. A pan that is on fire won't spread that fast, take a second to relax and then make a calm decision. Cover it with some fireproof blanket or lid or just take the pan outside where it can't spread. Oil fires in pots or pans only bear one single trap: water. Don't! Add! Water!!
@@drstihl2007 Happend to me, when i fell a sleep while cooking, woke up half chocked to death from the fumes, covered it with a lid and threw it out. After that i shat myself how dangerous it was.
@@R_S4_B5 As i said the danger is pretty low. But if you add water to a fat fire then it instantly vaporizes due to the high temperature and thus rapidly expands with a factor of 1600. And it carries burning fat liquid and therefore create a huge fireball. That's kinda the only danger.
Metal fire by the way has the same effect, only the mechanism is different. There the temperature is that high that the water splits into oxygen and hydrogen. And a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen is highly explosive.
Or maybe because it is a tv show, staged and a fire crew on set.

@@chimhope8186 baisiclally what happened was teb owners got into a huge fight and I think they attacked a customer?anyways everything I just wrote was a huge lie
it actually closed 5 months after the episode aired
I've got an very important question. Why do so many Murica-Restaurants have carpets instead of tiles or wood/fake-wood floors? Food falls down, people stamp it inside the carpet. Cleaning is not easy!
litigation culture probably
Really, never saw a restaurant wirl ith carpets, just why?
Probably:
1) Is used to have a warmer feel
2) Keeps heat in, literally making it warmer and not wasting money on heating bills
agreed. carpets in restaurants or pubs is just yucky. eventually it would smell like old, stale food no matter how often you vacuum it and it would wear out pretty quickly on the path to the kitchen
My guess is a mix of old-architecture and cost. Carpets were likely cheaper to implement then hardwood or tile and people tried to sell it as a warmer atmosphere.
beautiful energy and empathy
Orlando is such a great soul ! He is talented, humble & genuine. By far the best episode ! Chef Ramsey u r simply great ♥️
"I don't think a swan would cheer me up"
Swan: yes chef, sorry chef
I feel sorry for the chef, he was shy but, respectful, genuine & talented, the only thing that was holding him back was the old menu & the owner that wasn't ready to make chances...I'm so glad to see that they embraced the new change with Gordon's support & they was able to make the place popular again
I love that he loved the foil and got excited that was adorable
The chef who cooks for fleming is so humble man ,he handle everything like a boss and show tears of joy at the end for not saying anything nonsense and bullshit thing about Our Gordon Ramsay.
If you think Gordon’s a mean person, look how many restaurants have been saved by him
0. very few restaurants listen and revert back to their old ways because of arrogance. its the reason kitchen nightmares is cancelled, gordon got tired of owners doing this after he invests money and time
@@bloc4473 true but i still love the series and i think of those few restaurants that listened are like gems to me
None actually haha. Most go under very quickly because the owners usually revert back to their old ways for whatever reason. That’s why this show got cancelled, because Gordon was pissed that his advice, money, and help was going to waste as soon as he left
@@jalepenopvp2300 22 were still open in May 2020, 83 were closed. Due to covid, some of the remaining 22 might have closed since last year, tho.
Funny thing is that some owners blamed Ramsey for the failure of their restaurant :D
he is generally more supportive and nicer in the British Kitchen Nightmares tho
"Flemmings is gonna be around for at least another 20 years"
5 months after filming... (**incorrect buzzer noise**)
It closed down? Well, thats a bummer
@xxx yyy Alright calm your farm
Why did it close?
@@mkk8568 I think the lease expired, so the owners had no choice but to close :(
Its opened under new owners
Did Gordon really put on a shirt with an eye test for colorblind people and bring a Danish translation book just to call this dude out XD
