Yeah, she's like "hey, let me listen to the song!"
She has metal.in her soul. 🤘

So let me understand. Because people dont listen to metal, rock that much you dont have faith in human kind anymore?

Exactly!! All hail the new generation of metalheads 🤘🤘🤘
History lesson Germany sent 1.5 million soldiers to take Moscow, America sent 4 metal heads. Job done
Underated comment lol
What he said 👆
Geography lesson, America is a continent. United states of America a country. Besides, you forgot the other bands that played on that show.
@@fr0zrracing725 U must be fun at parties. Okay here's some info for you. This was 3 months before the end of the USSR. This was September 1991. Gorbachev lowered the hammer & sickle flag from the Kremlin for the last time December 25, 1991 & replaced it with the 3 color flag. This was the 1st western culture event in Russia in 5 years. 'For Those About To Rock: Monsters In Moscow' as part of the Monsters of Rock Tour. Artists were: Metallica, Pantera, AC/DC, The Black Crowes & E.S.T.. The military were going to cancel the show almost right before people started showing up. But for fear of revolt, they didn't. They expected 500,000. It was estimated at 1.6million. Crowd Scan had since tried to do an accurate count using video footage. They settled on 1.6million but said it was most likely a little more than that. 53 people died at this event. Most, they said, from drug overdose.
1.6 Million people....and this is only 3rd on the all time list of crowds at an open air concert. #1 is Rod Stewart at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with a crowd of 3.5 Million in 1994. #2 was Jean Michel Jarre in 1997 also in Russia, like that Metallica show, with 3.5 Million.
😂😂😂😂 true
Мне было 23 и я был на том концерте недалеко от сцены. 28 сентября будет 30 лет стой поры, а будто как вчера. А чтобы полностью ощутить мощь того концерна - надо смотреть полностью фильм про этот концерт от начала и до конца.
I'm a 40 year old father of 3 daughters, and I'm loving this channel so far LOL ... Love to see anyone exploring new music
Sir are you sure that this js new music ??? 😂😂😂
@@sm_4859 ..... um, its new to them
Well I'm a 42 year old father of....zero kids ☹
I wish I would've met the right woman and had children...I never thought it would bum me out as much as it does. 😕
James Hetfield was 28 in 1991! His voice was so powerful live at this point in their career! I saw Metallica 3 times on this tour between 1991 and 1992! Incredible! ✌🤘😊
In my personal opinion....James most strong, power voice timeframe was between, 1988 to 1995. Then it randomly got powerful again for 1 year in, 2019 lmao
The girl on the right, their left in the video....I think she has a crush on a young James Hetfield and is in love with his younger, power, strong voice as well. Haha. It's so adorable.
Typical Lars way off beat
The little sister is really into the heavy stuff.
She is ready for Slayer, maybe even Morbid Angel :)
@@Infyra yeap, she´s ready
Might wanna go slow and start With Pantera :) love that she keeps the drumbeat after the ”die” part! Love it!
@@simontrogen6209 Well they already did Pantera so, on to the next level! SLAYER!

This was much needed for Russia, just a short time later The Soviet Union was disbanded.

Metallica finished the job that Rocky Balboa started and ended the Cold War!
Goes to show...Heavy Metal conquers all
Communists can blow me. 🇺🇸
This was an estimated 1.6 million people
Third biggest gig of all time on this planet.
Best crowd ever. Only thing that compares is the best Babymetal crowds in Japan.
And believed that 53 people died.
1st big Metal show in Russian history\m/
And it was a free show too
This song was telling the story of The Destroyer in the Book of Exodus!
It also mentions 4 of the 10 plagues of Egypt.
Kirk played in band named Exodus. Coincidence?
James said this was the largest show that Metallica ever played - and they've played a lot.
This was one of the biggest live shows ever...period.
Best review ever. These kids need to start a band.
Thank you buzz!
Back in 1991 when Metallica ruled the whole metal scene.
absolute LEGENDS!!!
Yeah. I can watch this and forget all the rubbish they've been guilty of in the years since. This set was one of the pinnacles of metal history.
Well until they went soft and pantera kept metal alive until they smartened up lol
Imagine this concert with Cliff Burton
They ruled the whole world lol
Of all the reaction videos on youtube to this song, this is the one that seems so genuine and I'm sure it made not only me but all of us grin ear to ear. So happy you enjoyed it. What you're watching is over a million people releasing their energy after being freed from the Soviet control. It's unreal and Metallica was the perfect band to play this show for these people. I hope James, Lars, Kirk and Jason see this video and know how much it impacted you! Someone get this to the the band!
Pretty cool when Jason sang the line.
Gave James a lil break.
Hey ladies if u wanna see a crowd react
Watch Queen at Live Aid 1985
After 2 songs Freddie does a vocal set with the crowd
Mind blowing Mr. Mercury was a great showman
This is one of my favorite Metallica reaction videos, to date! GREAT job!
it actually brings me to tears watching people watch these videos for the first time and how genuinely amazed they are, it brings me back to when I first fell in love with this band 20 years ago, its an overwhelming experience, if they read these comments these girls will definitely see how important Metallica has been to so many people
The Berlin wall had just fallen.....just imagine what the feeling was in Europe when this concert occurred, I was only 15 at the time. And I'm mexican by the way hahaha
1.6 million people. Largest crowd ever for one concert
It was 1.6 millions on 3 days so more like ~500 000 but still insane

love your reactions! so cute just the way i react whenever i see metallica concerts, all smiling and giggling. Do more metallica reactions!
Your enthusiasm is inspiring, thanks for spreading the word on how good they are live. You seem to enjoy their live performances a lot, so I'd suggest reacting to anything from their live S&M album, take your pick. It's a very different but still incredible live experience.
Particularly no leaf clover
You guys are awesome! Got yourselves a new subbie right here from the Central Valley California! I have seen them 6 times and they have been mindblowing everytime!
Great video. Thanks! Good luck with your videos. Great reactions.
This was shortly after Cold War ended and the Berlin wall fell. These people never had concerts like this before and you can see how much they were enjoying their newfound freedoms. It was a wonderful time. We need to return to that kind of world.
Kudos to your parents, or whoever it was, letting you delve into this stuff. But, this is the Monsters of Rock show that went down shortly after the Berlin Wall came down. Most kids in Russia, and all the other Eastern Bloc (Communist) countries had never seen anything like this before...and all the bands did it for free. Sadly, some fans died because of the Russian Army doing the "security." And they hadn't experienced anything like this either. There were "front line" troops, armored personnel carriers, tanks, and helicopter gunships...the "whole nine." Throw in three million (according to what estimates one believes) fans for the duration of the show, and it was like a landmine that'd been stepped on, waiting for the pressure release, and explosion. The last time Russia had that many people in one place was probably World War Two when the German and Russian armies butted heads. This wasn't JUST music history...it WAS history. Good for you girls though, and your parents.
@@gen-xennial3826 lol...yup.
This could probably get tied in to their homework at some time. Your A+ in World History awaits you.

The enthusiasm of these girls just made my day.
Finally you did it. How about Metallica - One? or Metallica - Whiplash Seattle 1989? Just suggestion.
I was at the show in Seattle 89. It was INSANE
@@davemassie9888 i need travel time machine go back to 1989 and enjoy it. But i just born in 1999..
I rather to react to the studio versions, especially if we're wearing headphones
You can always react to the live 89 Seattle version of a studio song you already reacted to so you can see Metallica in their prime in the states. It has been argued as one of the all time best live metal shows ever recorded. If not, it's all good, but you're missing out....
Dave Massie Dude it’s gotta be awesome to have that to look at now. That show is just perfection man, I’m insanely jealous haha. I was born in 1990 so I missed on early Metallica, but glad I can still go see them today! 🤘🏻
i really wanna be friend of the girl in the middle, she really enjoyed all the song!

I love how the girl to the right couldnt get over how great James' voice was back then haha!
I think y'all would enjoy Harvester of Sorrow from the same show in Moscow. (If u pick it sometime, make sure to choose the right video, with upgraded audio, amazing performance and singing from James there)

I kind of stumbled across your reaction to this video and I have to say that I have a renewed sense of hope for your generation as far as music is concerned. Great job
Just came across your girls channel. Loved your kids reaction. So nice to see kids your age appreciating music I grew up on . Great reaction girls . New sub from 🇨🇦 🤘🤘
These young ladies remind me of myself when I discovered rock n roll. Was at a grown ups party sneaking drinks of beer and smoking at 8 years old. MEAT LOAF Bat Out Of Hell was playing and I thought WOW!!!!
This was one of the first times huge metal bands from the West played in the Soviet Union, and it was a free concert, so the crowd was really going wild. Stage security were soldiers. It was a weird time because the Soviet Union was just months away from collapsing, soldiers had a hard time understanding what was going on in the crowd because they had never seen anything like it before. Some of them thought a fight was going on and started beating people with their batons.
Funny side note about Metallica. Back in the early days when they got bored they would put on little mini shows under the name Spastik Children, where they would swap instruments and play really bad cover songs. You can still find clips on youtube of James on drums, Jason on guitar, Lars on vocals and Kirk on bass.
If you think it was crazy just imagine if megadeth had a chance to perform
@@evenjames6464 probably even worse than that time Dave ignorantly dedicated a song "for the Cause" in Northern Ireland and started a riot.
Great history bro enjoyed reading it.
Just imagine, 500 something thousand people (including Russian's and the Soviets) screaming "Die!"
Absolutely crazy
@@Ranganation "Die" has the same pronunciation as an imperative form of the verb "give" in Russian so crowd was prepped even though they didn't know about it.
Didn't expect such genuine reaction from you guys. Enjoyed all your Metallica songs so far. Next video Blackened Seattle 89!
Probably the coolest ladies on youtube. Now I have to subscribe and check out your other vids. I just thought it was really rad how into this song you all were, like you guys are already big fans of Metallica at such a young age!
its funny when u think about most of Russians have no idea what the Metallica were talking about, since most never learned English, so that moment when James yelled "Die", Russians yell soon became closest word to die, which is "da" , translated means "yes". Other variation could be "daj", pronounced same way as english die, and it means "give"
bruh most russians know english to some degree. everyone knows the word die.
@@Celatra bruh, we talking before fall of communism, why would anyone besides government spies learn English ?
@@KrakenIsMahB good point, although there still were tourists in the soviet union during that time, so civilians did take up a few words
@@Celatra im not aware of it, although it can be true, it is safe to say there were not that many.
@@KrakenIsMahB This is the nicest argument I have seen in a long time. Well played folks.
When Pantera perform it's was 500,000 and when metallica got on stage there were 1.6 million but after Metallica finshed AC/DC perform to 2 million.
This was Metallica first perform since 1989 because they just got done recording and releasing the black album
The 1.6 M is a combination of those days.. its close to 500k. Google exaggerated and people lapped at it. James confirmed it at Joe Rogan and the vids A Year and a Half in the life of Metallica confirms it.. pre internet age fact
@@ErwinMeister8 Phil Anselmo of Pantera said they played to 500,000
Sounds like the crowds were still gathering by the time AC/DC got on. I mean with that many people, I could see it.
this was one insane show. i was 6 in 1991. good times. i im glad to see them live 3 times.
Wild.....that nearly 30 years ago this performance took place, and yet the energy was able to make it all the way to you guys here in 2020. Keep it up! Metallica reactions are guaranteed likes and subs.
Girls just to add some history to your "amazed" reaction about Metallica, Moscow and the massive crowd there. Soviet Union just ended the socialist regime and they'd opened to the world, just like Germany did with the falling of the Berlin wall, that divided their country.
These concerts represented these historical events(because there were more bands live in Moscow, which never, ever, played there).
Scorpions came out with the album Crazy World with the song Wind of Change(power ballad) Iron Maiden did Mother Russia from album No Prayer for the Dying to mention these two and I'm sure there is more, but this is plain history, real history!
Nightwish- Ghost Love Score from Wacken 2013 🥳
You girls make me fly! High! The way you talk about the music, the way the guys play, the they move, James's voice, the interaction with the audience, the way you feel hearing the music, it's so great and full of emotion. Keep on doing it! It's like fresh air!

Preferred that the later years and always partied together with neighbours. Another way for lone ppl is meet up with others like you on SM.
