Have similar chair... why is it stuck with the seat angled down? I pulled, poked, prodded, yoinked and twisted all the knobs 'n' shit to try to NOT have that. Fuck these "gaming" chairs. My back hurts. How am I supposed to game while doing what is basically a slight "wall sit"?! I GOT MAD QUADS. (Hah double entendre)

I had to look that up to be sure..cause honestly I'd believe that in a heart beat, but yeah..the actual name is a Clutch and the most common type is the Butterfly or Military Clutch..but they are commonly called Damnits after the phrase one says after losing it..so yeah..I'm gonna call them that from now on now that I know the actual name.

Steve had that enclosure ringed with spotters, covering all fields of view, he knew the croc very well (he'd worked with the animal for years), and that croc had already been fed. Have to say I was surprised that your memory is just like how mine is. I can't count how many times I've surprised a friend of mine who writes a lot with remembering details of the stories he's already written or that he's told me he was planning to write in later that he had forgotten he even told me. Yet so many other times i struggle to remember anything about something. So I'm glad I'm not the only one out there with such a weird kind of memory.

I'm not sure if they still make them, but I remember a year or two ago it seemed like those sit/standing desks were getting pretty popular. I heard they were rather expensive though. If Skeem hasn't looked into them yet, it might be worth a look at least. Let you alternate between sitting and standing when your back and legs start to bug ya from sitting so long.

In reality, Steve never dangled his son out near a croc or anything like that. What had happen was Steve had been working with one croc in particular and had fed it quite a bunch, so it was rather slow and full and not very aggressive at the time. Then he brought his infant son in and had his son cradled up close to his body, slightly turned away from the crocodile as he fed it some more. It was his way, as he put it, a way to get his son introduce to animals at a young age. Still a bit risky a thing to do, but Steve was in complete control of the situation and never would have put his son in a bad spot that he wasn't in control of. Again, yea, it was a risky thing to do, but the media took the moment and ran with it, making it seem way more worse than what it actually was.

Cousteau actually used dynamite in Silent World (one of his Academy Award winning films), as C4 hadn't been invented yet.

You should see a vid by Fact Fiend that talks about Steve Irwin's bodyguard..who was former UFC and actually helped train Steve to protect himself. Due to jumping on crocs and holding them back from doing a death roll Steve had MASSIVE strength once he got you pinned, it was hard if not impossible to get out of. The vid was about Steve wanting to do a charity match with Wesley Snipes/Blade. Steve was a hell of a personality and it's why people liked him so much..personally I would never underestimate a guy who handles dangerous animals like crocs and snakes for a living on the daily, if you watched his show sometimes he would be in the water and you could tell that those khakis hid just how much muscle he had.
