The Iron Man and Thor bar is a reference to the 24-issue Marvel run of Godzilla comics, where the Big G went to the marvel universe and toured around America. In the last 2 issues he fought the Avengers (which included Iron Man and Thor) and he thoroughly spanked the whole team singlehandedly.
The Rabbit Fur Flambé bar is a reference to the fact that the original 1933 King Kong stop motion miniature uses Rabbit fur for his body hair.
Don't forget about the atom scheme for Iron Man (Iron) and Thor (Thorium).

Fun fact: Godzilla 98 got renamed Zilla, then got brutally killed by Godzilla, but after the hate died down a bit he actually got somewhat redeemed, Zilla does some pretty cool things in Godzilla books and comics

The animated series for that version wasn't too bad, I remember watching a few eps back in the day. I also remember watching the Godzilla animated series back on Boomerang with Godzooki "Up from the depths, 30 stories high, breathing fire, his name in the sky! Godzilla!" somehow people got a special implant into Godzilla's head and the main characters had a special button they could press that would summon Godzilla and he would fight giant monsters to help protect the world, and his son Godzooki was part of the crew...his son could also fly for some reason...it was in the same kinda vein as Johnny Quest iirc...IE scientist and his family go on adventures solving issues...except add in giant monsters and Godzilla.

"Destroy ya" = "Destroyah" they snuck in Godzilla's most powerful enemy Destroyah the Oxygen Destroyer as a direct rebuttal to Kong's prior verse. Kong called himself "an oxygen destroyer" meanwhile Godzilla already beat THE oxygen destroyer. It makes Kong's flex/threat entirely unimpressive.
Also I like that Godzilla's Atom-splitting lines were delivered in a "fast" chopping manner. He chopped his splitting lines!
Godzilla also used the 20 000 fathoms line to stop kong from using it, if you dont know the beast of 20 000 fathoms was the OG giant monster film that came out a whole year before the first godzilla movie, so imma give Goji that
@amirhaikal6672 I'd say he gets half points for that only since Kong already cracked back with "you're not even the bombest monster from the Sea G (CG) what's KRAKEN" so he went straight to a mythological sea monster.
That line felt more like a rundown of the biggest monsters he's faced 20k, Ghidorah, Destroyah - even working MechaGodzilla in the background while dissing on MechaKong and having earlier degraded Kong by his fights with "generic" enemies like TRexes and Sea Serpents.

you arent wrong, but without the rebuttal king kongs line hits harder because the device used to kill the original godzilla was called the "Oxygen Destroyer". When the device was used to kill godzilla originally, thats what created Destoroyah who had similar powers to the device.

The line is “What’s Kraken?” As in “What’s crackin?” and the Family Feud style of answering questions.

Yeah, Godzilla the series, where the egg that hatched at the end of the movie was the new Godzilla that bonded to one of the main characters. They spend their time researching him while the monster of the week fights him. Very neat series with some interesting monster designs.
Enjoyed this battle. Matthew Broderick is the actor you were thinking of. Godzilla was definitely my favorite.

I think they're referring to the actual Godzilla anime "Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters". Critics panned the story and character development, though they did like the graphics and Godzilla's asthetic.

In the line "Anyways, that was more disappointing than your anime" they are most likely referencing the 2017 film (whose story and characters were generally panned by critics) and *not* the 1998 cartoon series, which was more favorably received by critics and audiences than the movie it was based on.
In the first Godzilla vs King Kong movie the fur on the King Kong miniature was covered in rabbit fur, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, I do actually LOVE the Godzilla voice though. If nothing else simply because, I have no idea if it was intentional from ERB or not, but it actually sounds a bit like how Godzilla's voice was made in the original film. Rubbing the leather glove coated in pine tar resin on a double bass. I feel like that was as good of a voice as you could get for a monster that really doesn't have much of one. 😅

normally a crings are reaction videos that pause, is because I like seeing people react organically, all in one sho, as i feel when you pause, gives you moment to process bit by bit, rather then let ot flow uninterupted. I dont shame those who do pause, i just make note and move on.
Now reason I am saying this, We Skeem is one of the few I love watching even knowing they do what annoys me, and reason is, He and others I watch, they break down and explain, to best of their knowledge, each line very well and articulately, as some lines I don't get. I very much enjoy his videos the most cause it sure shows he knows the references and sounds like he researches on characters less familar with, as well as admit if didnt get a reference.

If I recall from Brandon's review Monsters All Out Attack is the movie where og Godzilla killed the Broderick Godzilla.
I decided to go point-by-point of relevance for the sake of some fun and to point out any kinds of references that might've been missed...Because I am just having fun with it.
01. The conquered line is likely because the 'King' is being conquered.
02. Kong being a social creature but being a solo act really is just the joke, all the while Godzilla usually has allies in Mothra and Rodan.
03. Jessie Smollett was an actor on a show called "Empire" which makes it an even bigger burn than just his fake hate crime bit.
04. This is actually because the owners of King Kong back in the day tried to sue Nintendo over Donkey Kong. They lost, then got sued by Nintendo who won.
05. Charles Barkley won a game of basketball against Godzilla in a comic.
06. Yes, it was supposed to be Godzilla vs Frankenstein, but after failing to find interest in the US Toho bought the right to use King Kong for a movie.
07. 'Repping RKO' is a reference to RKO Pictures who produced the King Kong movie.
08. The Shin of Godzilla line is actually a fun reference for 'Shin Godzilla' too. This ERB has a few monster names mixed in for his statements as we'll see later.
09. You seem to be the only reactor who acknowledged Jack Black is more known for his comedic roles.
10. This is one that people miss: Godzilla has fought the Avengers in the Comics in the past and couldn't easily be stopped. Also, in that same reference I point back to point 8 on this list: Destroy Ya might be a callback to "Destoroyah" which is an opponent he had in a past movie, which leads into the Ghidorah line (another primary antagonist from Godzilla).
11. King Kong's old claymation version was made with rabbit fur.
12. Tokusatsu is a term for live-action films or programs that mostly make use of practical special effects. He's basically calling him low budget/poorly made.
13. "Damn I despise you." 5, "You make weak tokusatsu" 7, "Soft like some tofu." 5. Indeed, that is a Kaiju Haiku.
14. All Monsters attack apparently had a lot of stock footage in it, recycled clips from a lot of past movies.

All Monsters Attack was a Godzilla film that employed tons of recycled footage from previous Godzilla films. It was made fast and cheap for a quick buck by Toho (It was completed in less than 2 months). It's commonly considered one of the worst Godzilla films.

They were going to make another Zilla movie and I seen and heard the script it would have been more amazing than the first one granted he wouldn't have shut out atomic breath It was more like akin to fire maybe plasma. But it'll be like a bunch of Godzilla's running around and the one that was left at the end was actually gone attached to the main character of the first movie but he had to tell it to run away because they wanted to capture it. It would have good concept and a good second movie from what I heard.
