    An Instacart Shopper was penalized and banned from Instacart after cancelling an Instacart Batch due to a rude, condescending and demanding customer. Instacart punished a shopper unfairly without pause. This is a shopper with a proven track record with the reviews to back her up.       But you can. Find the local newspaper for your town and they usually have a blog, as well as and online newspaper that you can use to share stories like this.

    I wish Governors would step in and ban some of these services in their states until their pay practices are fixed! GoPuff, DoorDash and from what Im hearing about Instacart are in direct violation of minimum wage laws. As we use our own vehicles and have to supply the fuel, our minimum wage should be much higher than that of a teenager who works at McDonalds or other fast food employees who dont require a car and have to pay for fuel and maintenance. One thing that needs to be mandatory is that we should be able to instantly reject ANY order without punishment. I work for GoPuff and the amount of scumbags that order from 4-5 miles away and dont tip. GoPuff recently got rid of all subsidy protection work, so if I get 3 non tipping orders in 1 hour, I make $10.50 which is way below what the 15 year old makes under protection from law. Only difference is that teenager doesnt need to put up to $5 per hour for the gas. Subtract $5 from $10.50 and we are now at $5.50 for that hour. $5.50 to pay car payments, insurance, bills, and and lets not forget food which many of us are lucky to eat once a day. This is sickening. These CEOs belong in prison to be honest and these non tippers are the lowest forms of human scum. I categorize them as criminals! We should be able to deny any such pathetic customer with the simplicity of a swipe! Thanks for the videos Jen! Sorry to come here and vent, but I truly think anyone who works these gigs needs to vent and do so often.

      California has started a guaranteed minimum wage for gig employees. It’s not perfect. However it’s a start. when the next elections come around vote those that can empower you to have better pay.

    I hope that nasty customer finds a poisonous spider in her bananas 😂 I feel awful the shopper had to deal with that nasty customer, but it sounds like the shopper is putting way too much into Instacart. Is there a reason this shopper is not on any other app out there? Based on what she said, it sounds like she needs to sign up for Shipt, Spark, Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc....no one should be on only one app if it is their only source of income.

      I couldn’t have said it better, myself!! Lol. Update, she emailed me today and has moved on from Instacart! Thank goodness! Too much stress. She is loving Shipt! And I agree, no one should put all of their apples in one gig gap, however they do! Thanks for watching, emotions! 💛

    I will give you a happy story the other day that made me cry! I delivered a old run down apartment block the other day. As I got into the place anyone couldnt miss how bad this place was. It was so dark that a bat would have trouble seeing through. It smelled disgusting and I told myself how could anyone live here! But not for me to judge like a good Soldier I travelled on to the suite and knock on the door. After a few minutes I hear a voice telling me she will be right there. When finally the door opens standing there was a sweet old lady. She must of been at least in her 80s. It was apparent she didn't have a lot of money. After I give her the bash out of her apron pocket she handed a envelope. I said immediately told her that wasnt necessary! But she insisted so not to make her upset at her age I wish her a good day with my thanks. When I got back to my car I opened up the card. In it was a signed signature with her gratitude and thanks on the efforts that I did to give her some food for the week ahead. Also in the envelope was some coins for a grand total of $1.45 cents! It was obvious that's all she could afford! Made me cry all the way home!!!

    I’m thankful enough that almost all the customers I take are my regulars. I even had this one darling old lady that gave me a hug, she’s been my customer for a year lol 😆

      I had a triple order this morning . Customer a and b had five items each. Customer c had 40 items. As I’m checking out she messaged me saying she forgot there was paving on her street and asks if she can cancel. I didn’t respond yet because I was loading more stuff on the belt for the the other customers so I could finish up. As I’m about to pay the card rejected. I didn’t think her cancellation would impact that immediately. At that point I was fuming. How the hell are you gonna ask to cancel way after I’m done with your order. So rude. It went from a $44 to $28 and that’s after I called a rep to request a courtesy bump and they gave me ten bucks. Some of these customers are idiots

      9.9 times out of ten they are gonna want 4 bananas not 4 bunches. I always assume that but ask anyways

      @Harrison Perry what I notice, is that if a customer you’ve done frequently orders, I usually get about a 30 second head start to scan through the order and decide if I want to take it. But after doing this gig for 3 years, I have hundreds of awesome customers I get to do all the time.

    Unfortunately Instacart seems to only care about the customers. Apparently shoppers are a dime a dozen to them. They never seem to punish the customers when it is well deserved. Even with the whole tip reimbursement of $10 they are offering, it does nothing to teach the customers that they can’t tip bait. They have no repercussions from their actions

    I have a ton of bad stories with IC. But a more recent one, I took an order than had a ton of frozen meals. The customer did not a respond a single one of my messages. Some of the lunches were out of stock. When I got to her home she was an older lady and I even helped her and set her groceries inside her home. I told her some of the lunches were not in stock and she asked if she was going to be refunded. I explained to her that she would get her money. Well…she reported all the lunches I did buy as missing, and then left me a 1 star rating. I have been told by support multiple times that it would be fixed, but ofc not. It never gets fixed. This is not the first time Ive had this happened. In fact, I would love to hear about someone that has gotten their bad review removed when this happens. Btw, great videos Jen!

    At first sign of a grievance or attitude coming from the customer I screenshot exactly what the customer says Senatecare tell me to cancel my order and to make sure it doesn’t go against my rating. And they do it. If you’re independent contractor which makes you a small business you need to have your HR game on point. Don’t take shit from nobody especially for these low wages and tips

      That's what I do! The second I detect an "attitude" from a customer, I will immediately cancel that batch. I'll gladly take the cancelation penalty, rather than a ratings drop.

      @@danpeters944 when its a multiple order batch and you have to chat with support to cancel one of the stops, you actually arent penalized (unless it has changed recently) You also get the full instacart payment...just not that order's tip, which is probably not worth a shit anyways. The cancelled drop off cant rate you anyways.

    Lesson 1 never take low or no tip orders. Those people will ruin your day and create all sorts of chaos for you. They expect the most for the least tip. Never take a low paying order regardless of how desperate you are. It's not worth the headache.

    I am a cancer patient who loves Aldi & know they run out of things often. I am always by my phone to quickly respond to my shopper offering replacements. Covid is still a threat here & IC shoppers are providing me with a luxury service. I appreciate them & most times their replacement suggestions are better than what I originally wanted. Please remember, this rude, ignorant customer doesn’t represent us all 😢

    Minimum wage? That's a hard pill to swallow when one has to fill the tank, maintain the vehicle, etc... In California, we have a minimum $18.00 per hour guaranteed by Instacart, but after you tally up the multiple fill-ups, brakes, tires, mileage, etc... $18.00 an hour is laughable at best. Especially when half of the batches are "+ no tip"...

    I received a batch the other day and it said 1 order 17 items, only a few miles. I was like cool and accepted it. I get to the store and hit start shopping. They added a second order without me even accepting it. I clearly saw 1 order only 17 items and not 30 items. I was kind of irritated after that.

    Been there and was deactivated for asking for help but in Instacart’s eyes it was complaining and there trust and safety team are nothing but against you as a shopper and it’s sad I do not support this company what’s so ever I strongly urge shoppers to stop using this app and just delete it until they fix all the problems with the way they run this company bottom line they don’t care about shoppers and the scams are insane and out of control and they could care less as long as the food is delivered

    I have two customers on my own ban list. One claimed half the items were wrong when I scanned her items into the app to eventually check out. The other claimed I never delivered his order. That one was a clear red flag so I documented a ton. So I will cancel immediately if I see those two names again.

    I started IC in December of last year, but had a bad fall delivering groceries, so I haven't been back out. It's just mind boggling how customer's feel they can treat shoppers this way. I had one order I did for a Sprouts, it was a $200+ order and I kept in full contact with the customer during my shop. I dropped off the groceries, took photos and found out the next day, that they reported me for damages items, so I reported them for fraud, because NONE of the item's were damaged. I had one other time when I delivered groceries and was reported for 1 item missing. I INFORMED the customer that the store didn't carry the item they wanted and she was refunded.

    Instacart needs to take care of there shoppers and get rid of bad customers that are demanding, tip baiters, rude and fraudsters. I had a very good regular customer on Instacart because they were from the other food delivery apps. I only got 2 missing items because the store was out of stock on that particular product and it was refunded for the 2 items. After 24 hours I did not get any tip removed and that customer was very understanding because of the general supply shortages.

    It’s usually the low ballers who are the worst customers.
    Also, during Christmas time I took a big batch with a very big tip. I constantly was texting the customer making sure everything was accurate (basically was three carts of groceries). When I got to their house it was in a very rich neighborhood with three car garage. The next day I noticed that the tip had been removed so I called customer care. To which they told me the customer had given me five stars and a comment that said “great job”. Anyways they said they were going to ban this customer but six months later I saw the same amount come up for a batch in that same area so I took the batch so that I could report them to Instacart care again and IC told me that there was no flag or any reporting about this customer ( when I reported it). Of course I canceled the order. This company is sleazy.

    It it's illegal and dangerous to message while driving! The customer knew she was driving and she was telling her to just bring the groceries but also reply to her messages. That's ridiculous. But why is the shopper relying on only Instacart? Please everyone, get a backup app. Better yet, get 7 backup apps. Instacart can only abuse you if you let them. That doesn't make it ok, it is just the reality.

    In my opinion, i rather not message back n forth with customers unless there is an emergency. Customers need to pick replacements ahead of time because it takes them too long to respond to messages. It also gives you bad ratings by over messaging.

    I refunded one item and IC took back $3.95!
    ..I know the customer didn't do it, it was a sweet old couple and they were thanking me/apologizing during the whole order for all the replacements and for being so helpful etc..
    ..I'm sure most of the customers have no clue that IC even does this?, which is potentially scamming millions (billions?) from the system.. (I've NEVER seen a reduced tip go back to its original price, and very rarely have I seen a tip go up, and its usually like 14cents or something).
    If they took $4 once daily from their over 500k shoppers, that would be over 2million a day taken from shoppers pockets. About $750million a year and 99% of the customers would never even know, (or care).
    Someone said it below and I agree whole heartedly, a legit tv channel needs to send an investigative reporter on the job for several months or so.. and they also need to follow a veteran or start after the 'newbie' rating system goes away so that they are subject to the same rating system as everyone else.. I'm sure that aft they factor in all the vehicle expenses/taxes etc.. they'll realize most of us are walking away with much less than min-wage and are one tank away from living in our cars.. (i've literally thought about living in my car or a tent for a few months to save money for my transmission repairs, avg rent is over $1,800)..

    One time I was working a batch and was having a hard time finding the woman’s house. I called her and tried explaining to her that I was having a hard time finding her house and she literally was screaaammmiinnggg at me over the phone! All because I couldn’t find her house whiich ended up being the next house on the corner that was covered by a bunch of trees. I feel so bad for shoppers that get harassed by rude customers. Sorry this woman had to go through that!

    6:11 paused. There it is Jen, “I paid for expedited delivery.” Same thing i was told by a customer a few nights ago at the start of this week and another customer said the same to me about two months ago. Is Instacart charging them for something they (the customer) believes is express/priority/expedited delivery? Or are they starting to say this as a way of snapping their fingers at shoppers to rush and get their groceries quicker without actually paying for that type of service?

      Some small batches are under an hour guarantee, I believe. I avoid those. Service Now or Delivery Now are what they are termed in my market

    I wonder what would happen if the customer was reminded that we have their name and address...."Yes, I have your name and address.....oh I'm sorry, wrong message"
    Thank goodness I haven't been in this position as of yet. I have had people claim that all of their items were wrong, damaged and missing all on the same delivery though. Some folks are just bad apples.

    Ugh. I am so glad I don’t do Instacart anymore! While I do sometimes miss the flexibility of it, I am glad to be in a steady job again. Watching these videos is a good reminder of why I quit. Besides the non existent batches, customers were just getting nastier and more stingy. And situations like this one are all too common. Always loved when customers couldn’t be bothered to answer a simple question, but could always seem to find the time to lower my tip or leave a bad review. And of course you get zero support from so called shopper care. I wish people would quit getting sucked into this as full time work. I warn everyone I can about it. Do it as part time, a way to earn some extra money , but do not quit an actual paying job for it. I certainly learned my lesson.

    I deliver to a lady that never tips and when the order is bigger they stack her with a big tipper,so that tells me instacart let's this go on ,the tipping customer also gets thier order later because of this non tipper!

    I've never been treated like that when shopping however I've been ignored and showed up woth the groceries and to my surprised of course they were home. They then tell me I didn't communicate when I have the greeting, pic replacements and follow up messages before I refund 🤦🏿‍♂️ can't make this shit up 😒🔥

    This is almost verbatim what happened to me last week over catfish and strawberry shortcake. However I didn’t check out because this lady was CRAZY! She ordered .25 of catfish steaks. They don’t sell it that way, it’s 2lb or more. She said the same to me DO YOUR JOB, like I am some peasant. Do you know anything about me? Nope, I could be a rich widower just filling my time, I could have won the lottery and do this for fun. Or I could be a single kid trying to make some money. Point is don’t talk to me like that when you are the one that didn’t use the app correctly and FREAKED out when I added her catfish and deleted the original after she gave me the OK that 2lbs was perfect. I even sent her pictures of them and she gave me 2 ok’s but had to make sure they were FRESH!!! Then kept asking about this cake that was not there and I sent her pics of the empty shelves and did ask for help from an associate to see if they had more. Nope. I reported her and she reported me but nothing happened. I got an lame email and I’m still shopping occasionally I do more spark than anything now.

I’ve been shopping my whole life and on this platform for 3 years, you don’t know how to use the app. It was insane. The disrespect is out of control. Most are nice and appreciative which weeds out these bad customers.

    I got in trouble and a bad review because a customer ordered alcohol and wasn't there when went to deliver the order. I messaged him. And he said just leave it at the door I said im sorry I will have to return your order to the store. With their rating system , no batches, no support i started doing Spark for Walmart and I Love It

    I’m so sorry that you had to go through that! You did do everything the right way, and I really commend you on keeping your composure because those messages are so disgustingly rude. It’s not Okay and I really think this should be brought up in the news, this is a safety issue as well, what if the shopper delivered the groceries? How would the customer have acted then? IC goes on and on about safety and this situation speaks volumes about how IC DOESNT care! That customer should have been BANNED immediately! I feel like everything IC says is smoke in mirrors. Take screenshots of everything! I take a picture of the groceries in the chat and also on my phone I keep them, and if there is a situation like when I shopped for 74 units and the lady reported everything was broken, damaged the same minute I delivered it! But I had just took pictures of her groceries when I pulled up to the address and opened my insulated bag and took pics. If there isn’t any situations I keep them until the next week and then I’ll delete and redo all over again. Jen! I love your videos and you have been such an amazing person by shining a light on everything you hear and you let us shoppers know and I can’t thank you enough. I still feel so bad for that shopper but it has nothing to do with you! It’s that customers own issues, you held it together, I hope your back online and I pray that you don’t get any more of those customers! But Jennnnn I don’t want you to move haha! I live in New Hampshire, and I shop In Massachusetts sometimes and I always wish I could just run into you! Your amazing and you look out for us always letting us know about everything!

    I’ve seen a lot more fraud recently. All shoppers should be keeping their eyes open with these deliveries. I had one woman say her entire order was damaged bc she wanted free groceries. She ordered from a high end store and the delivery point made me question it. Sure enough, she said I damaged her whole order. Last Sunday I got a 3 star rating for a missing broom, however the picture of the broom was in the photo. I’ve gotten horrible batches since then and have t worked this week. Care said it was being reviewed and it would be removed, but it hasn’t been. It’s just so frustrating. We work hard, the days are long and the nature of the work is tiring on your body. It will be interesting to see if IC survives. I’ve seen articles that stores are moving towards their own instore shoppers and may no longer be on IC.

      Definitely more fraud going on and they are getting more brazen. I Delivered a $300 Costco order the other day to a seedy part of town in a trailer park. I wear a Go pro and captured the whole delivery. The customer ran out and started grabbing items before I had finished unloading everything. I handed her and her husband 3 cases of bang energy drinks each $35 a piece, and they are on my go pro collecting the items from my hand and taking it inside. After I left I get the call from Instacart support saying the customer is missing lots of items including the Bang energy drinks and did I have them. They claimed over $200 of items were missing. I told support I had video of the whole encounter. I sent it to the trust and safety group. I have no negative ratings and nothing showing in the missing or damaged items area so the video must have been good enough

      I don't shop IC very much anymore but when I do I time stamp everything, I also write the addresses on all my receipts , since IC dosen't back us up I will files a fraud report with the police the next time this happens, I've told IC this is how I will handle things from now on just because they don't back us shopper's up. we have to protect ourselves, everyone please start time stamping everything, if we take things into our own hand I'm pretty sure customer's will stop .

    I decided to watch this video, because I had a very rude customer. He wouldn't stop messaging me on the App, and of course, you are supposed to reply to their messages. You can't even shop and scan an item until you read their message. Then, after almost 3 hours of shooting me messages, he gets mad at me for having him text for 3 hours! I could barely shop because he would shoot on message right after the other, sometimes one sentence at a time. I must have stood in front of the cheese section for a good 10 minutes because he couldn't decide which one he wanted. And then started asking about the prices of the previous items. It was almost to the point where I wondered if he was trying to sabotage me, just so that he could shoot ammo at somebody (I just happened to be convenient at the time). And of course he was right angry when I finally was able to deliver his order. He got go sit text me for 3 hours while I was over at Walmart, trying to do everything he said. And he didn't even care to think about how it must have made me feel, and how exhausted I must have felt. 😢😥.

    I had experience like this about month ago, before I check out , I called agent and tell the situation, screenshoot the conversation between me and customer. After 4 mint, the agent cancel the order. Thank GOD I don't have any penalties from IC. I am learn , contact the agent asap before the bad thing happen, specially when we facing the rude nasty customer.

    I've been using Instacart for a couple of months, and so far my shoppers have been awesome. Fast too. I also had an instacart shopper leave a friendly note in my bag thanking me for helping her take care of her family, as she helps me to take care of mine. It was so very sweet. This is sad seeing this happen.

    Threatening to take a low tip away means that’s what she was going to do anyway…the 9lbs of bananas would have gotten her tip back and a instacart credit beware of the cons and scammers

    I am a instcart customer. Instacart has been a blessing to me for many reasons I work 70 hrs and I hate grocery shopping. What scares me is that this happens enough that people are t shocked by it. I can't possibly imagine treating anyone like this period let alone anyone doing this for me. I always make it a point to tip on the app and cash. I'm in the restaurant industry and realize what it's like to live on tips. I'm sorry that people act this way! Hell I've had milk show up busted and leaking before and don't want to report it because I don't know of it effects anyone's job. I sincerely hope this isn't a common thing and I'll even thank you on not just my behalf but others I appreciate the service and the patience it takes to do the very thing I hate doing!

    I did Instacart a few times and found it to be so frustrating!! The pay for the time, travel and effort was not a worthwhile exchange. I just deleted the app after seeing this. They allow their shoppers to be abused and to have no way to defend themselves in instances like this!? I’ll stick with Door Dash!

    This happened to me. The customer was rude and arguing. She took our tio away. Two days later I had a deposit if 10 dollars. I got my tip from instacart.

    just another example how IC tolerates this type of behavior using their shoppers as scapegoats. these are the type of REAL issues that IC needs to make improvements on. not some lukewarm corny change that has very little impact improvement for the shoppers. that customer should have been banned from IC with that type of behavior. the evidence is clearly detailed in the chat but still they rerouted the order for another shopper to deliver & complete. situations like this is where IC fails & hard. thanks for the video Jen. this is what must change on IC & it cant happen soon enough. or will it ever? i have doubts IC will never really improve at least for the shoppers. IC only cares about looking good for investment purposes & their corporate evaluation. how about their reputation? example: this video.

    Yeah I've been lied to like it's the great chat saying I'm going to get paid for something and never got paid for it. So yes unfortunately this happens. I just try to keep my cancellation rate down enough so I don't get deactivated. But some of these orders and customers are an absolute joke.

    My Goodness.. im already back? Today was an absolute nightmare - and a wonderful case of Instacart doing everything possible to fight the customers and the shoppers. I had a two-store two-batch order (Yeah... thanks Instacart... saving us time and making us more money? LOOOOL) --> I accidentally got the two orders mixed up (B went to A, A went to B) And instacart called me about it. What I got was brutally unprofessional. The woman was in her bathroom, on a speaker phone, with a crying child in her lap.... She spoke the thickest Indian i've ever heard, and kept switching to her native tongue to calm her child. I understand that these people are just like anyone else, having to work to survive... but I dont bring my crying child to the front door of a customer, or to the register at work (I also dont have a kid!!!) I couldnt understand a word she said, begged for her to call me back... nothing. Anyways, I started to put two and two together and figured it was a missing batch case... I spent 2 hours on the chat line with Customer Support, fighting back and forth (I have all the screen shots too, they are bad) trying desperately to fix this. I was able to correct one delivery, but I couldnt get the second delivery. I could see all the groceries on the kitchen table, but after hanging out for an hour, knocking on the door, no one ever answered. I begged over and over for customer support to call me, but they said "We are sorry, we only call customers" When I asked about the phone call I received that started all this, they said "oh, we meant to call the customer" (they asked for me by name... its... bullshit... folks) --> And then, after demanding to speak to a manager, demanding an email to a higher up, and demanding a formal reprimand of this customer service rep (letting maximum Karen status out) the lady said "you need to be more responsible in the future, this is your fault" and ended the chat. I went back to the other customer's house and had to apologize to her about the mix up... and guess what? SHE WAS ON THE PHONE WITH CUSTOMER SUPPORT --> and they were telling her "There's nothing we can do, we cant get a hold of the shopper" My advice to instacart shoppers... look, do the best you can, but once this slips out of your control: dont interalize it, dont take it home, dont let it eat at you... you do a good job, you try your hardest, its not the player its the game, and the admins are not on your side and the rules are always against you.

    Other shoppers say just move on don’t let it bother you when customers rate you low. But it does bother us because those of us that are good shoppers know that we went above and beyond to get that customer what they need. I even crawl down on the floor looking in the back of the very bottom shelf to get those last items that my customer needs. And now with gas prices what they are Instacart is combining two and three orders together going in opposite directions with very high miles. I have seen more multiple order batches with extremely high miles lately than I have ever seen before . Instacart is only about what they can do to make more money for themselves and not the shoppers.

    Last time i had a customer that i did asked the instructions to her house cause she live in a residential and getting to her house was little weird. She called me stupid and i got really mad and told customer services i didnt want to see or do her orders anymore and havent had her ever since 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

    Something similar happened to me, minus the nasty customer talk!
    The clarification was clear the moment the consumer read the message, why is it so hard to message back, I wouldn't have delivered anything and just took the strike and returned the food! IC don't care! We need to file a class action lawsuit against ic!

    the only thing bugging me about this is usually if they want 4 bananas or 4 bunches you can figure it out by weight. if 4 bunches weigh 10lbs and 4 bananas 1 lb the app will tell you you are over by 9lbs. 🤔 but seriously that lady was out of control. prolly drunk. they are usually nasty when drunk, especially if your late bringing them their booze. but that's a whole other story.

    This is heartbreaking. I’m sorry for the shopper. Our jobs aren’t the best however we have options. I would empower this person to definitely have more than just IC. No gig job is easy or close to good pay. However we have to protect ourselves and have multiple sources of income. If the shopper is living day to day with pay. I encourage them to seek some help from a church or other organization. During COVID lockdown my job was paused with no guarantee we can return. My local church provided us with meals every week. As a result I was able to use what money I could to pay the house bills. Please don’t feel any shame or embarrassment to ask for help. We have so much in this country and we’re so blessed. Again nothing is perfect. But efforts are being made. As for this incident. I would suggest canceling the batch from the first initial harassing comment. I’ve done it. It’s easy. Don’t let others take away your joy. When reaching out to chat focus the chat on safety. The customer proceeded to escalate the conversation because she was allowed to. Always always go to chat first and request a cancellation because you feel unsafe. And btw side note. We know where these customers live! Lol why are people being so unkind. It’s shocking to me that someone would be so rude. The other thing is should something like this occur again just return the items don’t ask. You can update weight and amount after you pay and before you arrive. It’s easy it’s happened to me with a box of cereal. I pulled to the side of the road. Refunded the cereal and returned it .

    This is why you want to be on multiple platforms if you depend on gig work for survival. Switch up to Uber, Lyft, door dash, dog walking, shipt, flex, IC, Spark, etc. When you have options, you have options. I've been blocked from receiving costco batches for 24 hours because I gave a batch a thumbs down. Not that I care, I'm not taking Costco orders any longer--personal preference, but it was interesting that a thumbs down was enough to prevent new costco orders from showing up in my available batches. (I saw costco come up in my alerts)

    Ins situations like this, I call the customer, at least twice. If I don't get an answer I refund the item. For some reason, when I refund, they reply right away.
    This is horrible! I've had a customer like this, rude in the chat. I ended up calling her to speak to her in person anf she was different.

    Jen!. First alk thanks for posting great information on all of your videos! I have a question about an certain email that I received from instacart! Last week the email stated they were changing their tip policy from waiting 24 hours to 2 hours now! I thought finally something positive! Well yesterday after working a batch I noticed the tips still had a 24 hour hold on it! So I text instacart support and now they tell me this policy is under testing! No where in the email the word testing was written! Now I am getting tired of instacart games! Any help on this would be appreciated! I drive in New Braunfels Texas!

    And ghost shopping before you start the shop in the app is stupid, it just teaches the app algorithm that shops don’t take as long as they should
    I feel for her but those two errors right off set her up
