No tip? I am not taking it. The ones who don’t tip or pay very little tips are the ones who mostly micromanage your shopping and then complain. Also Instacart like to mix zero tips with the good tippers in multiple batches (like u said) which sucks. I had a good customer leave a $30 tip in the app & then gave me $50 cash In an envelope with my name on it when I was done. That $80 tip made my day. 🥰
Yes With that $80.00 tip, Reggie! Well deserved! It’s customers like these who makes it all worthwhile! So happy you are passing on the zero tip batches. I wish more shoppers would, It would make it better for all of us.! Thank you for commenting. Have a great week!! 💛
You’re right I’ve had so many who had a generous tip already on order than added more after delivery. Happened twice today alone I got tipped $25 for two bags of m&m and 2 bags of Doritos
Hi Alexis! Absolutely! The non-tippers Will continue to be non-tippers because they are getting away with it. Shoppers should never expect a golden nugget at the end of their shop if they see zeros out of the gate! I really wish shoppers would STOP excepting these batches. Instacart will keep sending you the the same type of batches that you are excepting over and over again! Great tip from your customer! Well deserved! 💛
Zero tippers are also the most difficult. It’s true. Take a triple batch and you can always tell the “non tipper” before you deliver everything. The highest tipper is usually silent non tipper is always asking for more stuff or being super difficult. Don’t take non tippers they can do their own shopping.
Sold cars for years the people that came in wanting a $100 over invoice were always the ones that will nickel and dime you to death and have follow up issues and are just a nightmare that you end up working twice as hard for. That's why managers of dealerships will have volume bonuses on top of your commission percentage so you'll also need to take some of those smaller deals.. It's also the reason instacart offers incentives multiple times per week lol
I'm in the middle of Pittsburgh about 5 minutes from downtown so I wait at home for a batch that's 50 or more try to get it. Done in less than 2 hours and it's been working. I'm making 25 bucks an hour, before this the best job I've had was a kitchen manager for 15 an hour so I'm happy plus I'm spending more time with the family
Not only should you not accept a batch with no tip but those are the people that will give you a bad rating also, no tip to me means the customer has no respect for me and will leave me a bad rating on top..20$ is my minimum, sigle batches only, maybe an occasional double but only if 20 items or less, triple batches NEVER, dont care how much....
Okay so this isn't always true. Some ppl are giving the tip after because they've been receiving bad service. Some just don't tip and some are giving at the door. It's really are gut thing. Found this out as well. I had customers tell me this a few weeks back and again last week. Since I took a few days off due to these horrible scammers we got going. I rarely see any batches from home now. Lol We will see how I feel today and what comes my way. I have zero ambition today. It's a lot a work some days and the pay n scammers just isn't worth it anymore. It's gotten that bad. I'm trying to get my spirits back up. But I've lost my groove. I havnt missed a day since I started until now. We will see of I find the energy to get back out lol 😆
Yes so true only shop for batches with tips . I'm only shopping for one person at a time with a tip . I haven't been with instacart that long. I'm working on my speed time. Thanks Jen for all the information.😍
On no platform I do a order that says no tip. If I accidentally accept it which is never. I will cancel it immediately. I keep my cancellation rate under 3 percent for room. No tip orders are mostly the ones that gives the most issues. Negative rating. Or order not delivered. And yes the more moderate orders with a good tip usually comes with a cash tip or an increase in your tip on the app. Thank you Mrs. Jen for all of your information and pointers it really works. I went from 55 5 stars to 75 5 stars within 2 weeks.
Ya but if u ignore batches they know and then they won't send ya any tried that too. Who even does that no tip shite especially during covid its so ruthless
@@loriann8298 I realized this since I started. Any day I go with my gut feeling and click on the first decent batches I see are my best days. On days where I skip decent batches in hopes of finding a better one I'll just see shitty batches rest of the day.
@@JENontheGO Most of the time I only look for tip amount, not so good most of the time. Today I took a batch for $ 38.79 65 items 1 mile from store $21 tip 😟 total time in the store and delivering one hour and 30 minutes. Replacements take much of my time. I’d there a faster way to do replacements. ??
Right??!! Shoppers are taking these batches! I wish they wouldn’t! These shops are hard work and we work way too hard to not be compensated! Hope you are having a great week! 💛
I couldn't agree more. I see those no tip batches and think please don't take that! And then its gone and I think who took that and why? Know your worth. Thank you for your videos!
You are right. They should not be able to do that. According to Instacart, they are removing the ratings that are given due to low stock. Make sure you contact instacart support if this has happened to you. Hopefully they will remove the rating.
Beyond the monetary value part, another insight of typical no-tipper is that these customers are MORE likely to smash a 1 star rating on your face for whatever reason they see fit. Keep in mind cheap & mean are usually good companies. Generous customers usually have more tolerance and better temper on the other hand. Think twice before you accept a no-tipper.
Thanks so much for this. I'm fairly new and have taken several no tip orders. I am ticked off the whole time shopping and delivering. ( My quality and politeness are still intact) I will definitely skip them from here out. Maybe if these cheapskates have to wait forever they will realize we are worth a decent tip.
This video is homerun! I get greedy with trying to swipe Costco high payout batches @ 10am but today I saw your point. 1st batch 2 customers $41 for 32 items with 7 waters, misc. snacks & household products, easy to shop but long drives to/from customers locations but next batch after, only 1 customer for 7 items $20, store was 7min away, 3min shopping, quick checkout & delivered in 10min, So much easier & less stress.
I’ll take the home run! Thank you! We just need to be certain that we are profiting from the batches we take and most importantly that we are not being taken advantage of. Hope you have a great weekend! 💛
I think the biggest miss IC is making now with morale & increasing their bottom line is on up sales. I always try to do this & on good days of disinfecting wipes or approaching hurricanes, adding waters is an easy up sell but I don't see much of increase & we actually lose more on stock that is sold out. As an example, yesterday while at checkout, customer requested choc chip cookies & I got out of line to walk to back of store for .40ct but few weeks ago lost $3 for out of stock kosher item & 3stars for "low stock". Just don't get this.
Wait. I thought IC was removing ratings for low stock. So not right as this is out of our control. Agree, prefer to up sell at much as possible to make up for the out of stock items. It really can bring your earnings down. Sounds like you are doing well , though. Hope so.
All is good thx, low stock customer didn't affect me because of nearly sixty 5 stars but the way you're working looks like you're crushing it...Good work! I can see this channel growing as long as IC grows.
In order to get the speed one must pick and choose a few stores and learn them as best as possible. This ensures that one, the shopper, will know where everything is at and have little to no need to ask store employees for help. This has worked for me and I get orders done within 10-15mins. However, the time killer is when one needs written approval by the customer when there’s a need for a replacement and there’s no suggested replacement item available per the customers request. I’m in the Bakersfield, Ca market and what I found that works for me is the 20-30 items that stay between $20-30 pay. I also don’t mind alcohol orders as I always leave the alcohol in the car and check the ID first if they don’t have a valid ID I can walk away with no worries of trouble from the customer. I do the same if a grocery order has alcohol with food. I give the groceries and check the ID if all is good I go to the car and then give the alcohol. glad I came across Jen-on-the go channel lots of great info on how to provide the best customer service possible. Stay safe everyone
Hi Roberto. Great tips!Thank you! Learning the same few stores is key, and helps so much with speed and anxiety. Lol. The smaller orders definitely add up and are less stressful. Thank you for your support! Have a great day. 💛
I will only accept a zero tip batch if there is nothing else to accept and it is a like a 5 item order where I can get it done really fast. Also, this whole "$40-$50" an hour just isnt the case in my state haha. A great batch is a single order that pays over $20.
I understand that. In my area, the batches are pretty substantial. Are used my method of what I do as an example so that anyone could scale that in their area. Even if you have lower batches given to you, try to make sure you stay dollar for item. And under no circumstances should anyone be taking batches without tips. 💛
This is the best information I have ever heard. Thank you so much for this video. It gave me a totally different perspective. I have been doing this totally wrong for two years. No wonder I make $5 an hour or less. I will try it your way and let you know how it works for me.
In the beginning, I took the $7 orders just to learn. As long as it was a small order. Now, I won't. Like today, there was an $18 order, to a town that's 11 miles away and 11 miles back to get in the zone again
Love you Jen! You are One of my favorite people on this platform! Love your realness and your value that you place on yourself and I need to start doing the same when selecting my batches as well!
Its hit or miss on cash tips, sometimes a tourist gives me less then the locals and vice versa, I live in FL. Im averaging over a hundred a day , im not meeting my goal. So im going to try getting smaller but faster local batches, If you are just getting batches for the higher tippers your going to get sent on a ride from instacart ..I have found that if i take more small batches like booze and drugstores i can make more every hour. Then shopping for big multiple orders..
Another comment i want to add is picky customers or online pay customers who want alternatives to everything out of stock. Sending photos waiting for the thumbs up hunting for an alternative will kill your speed. The less items they want the less the chance they will have items out of stock. Also most tips are percentage so if you have a batch for $50 70 items and there out of 20 items and customer doesn't want an alternative your 50 turns into 35 or lower real quick and its a lot of work. That is why you stick to batches that pay $2 bucks an item or more period.
I love this method. Thank you. Hopefully the viewers on this channel will listen and practice your advice. Thank you again for all of your help! Have a great Friday!💛
I don't do orders with no tip either as it's very insulting. We are driving to the store to pick the customers groceries, standing in line to check out, loading their groceries into our personal vehicles and driving to their home to deliver to their front door. I feel angry when I see no tip on batches...it shows no appreciation whatsoever and those are the ones that expect above and beyond customer service and like to add on more items while you are shopping. I did a two person order today at Costco and I will never do that again. I don't know why Instacart keeps batching two and three orders together at Costco. It's ridiculous considering how big the items are... it's stressful. One of the orders had 4 cases of water...total of 41 items. First customer only tipped $5!!!! The second customer tipped $30. I was so angry when I realized after completion that the first customer only tipped $5 for all of her items and she was adding on and she had the most items and the heaviest. The Customers that don't want to tip need to go do their own shopping. Shoppers... please stop taking the no tippers orders...teach people how to treat you!
Thank you Kim! Well stated! You are so right. Customers show know appreciation by not tipping! It’s really not hard, customers. Tip your shoppers and tip them well! This is SO not okay! And what really isn’t OK is the amount of shoppers who continue to accept these zero tip batches! Not grinding for your family for you to take away from mine. Just not gonna happen.!! Have a great weekend, Kim!! 💛
Yesssssss! No tip= please do your own shop. I picked up 2 boxes of donuts and I at least got a $2 tip. The house was right down the street from the supermarket. Easy batch.
I don’t like how with double (and triple) batches you can only see the total tip, and not tip left by each customer, before accepting it. I accepted a double batch that seemed good. Once completed, I could see customer A left a generous tip and customer B left a $0 tip.
I don't understand how IC can pay shoppers $1-$2 on top of the mileage reimbursement for a batch with 40+ items in it and no tip. It feels very much like shoppers are donating their time. Yes, you are correct. Someone who values the service enough to tip up front is more likely to increase that tip at delivery than someone who doesn't understand that IC isn't paying a wage to shoppers.
I had got a promotion for $240 to complete seven batches in seven days I honestly took all of the tiny little batches with very small tips and made that money in less than six hours that’s the only way I do that is if I get a nice little promo
People who don’t tip or not your customer. They are the stores customer and they are Instacart customer. Maybe it would be different if they actually knew what drivers were paid but many do and many don’t care to make sure that the driver is adequately compensated for the energy they put into providing this luxury service. No tip no trip
I did Instacart in L.A. and I quit because of the tip baiting. I would see a $30 tip and it go down to $10 after the batch was delivered. After I drove a long way to deliver their batch.
Hi Jen, what do you do on tip baiting? That's so annoying 😒 once I got a $20 batch plus $30 tip and 3 miles with 40 items. Some items were out of stock, but anyway after I delivered few minutes later they gave me only $3 tip because their items were not complete. Believe me I wanted to go back to that house and complain them in person. I contacted customer support, but unfortunately they only have a chat option for shoppers, and customer support over the phone for "customers". That's so disappointing 😞 How do you deal with these situations? Thanks ❤
No tip no shop. If a person don’t offer a tip it show what they truly think about the shopper who get their groceries. I never take a order with no tip even if they tip later.
I would love to hear someone talk about tips when the zones don't exceed the $30 or $40 range that everyone speaks of. I started in November in the Georgia area and rarely do I see quality batches for 20+ and yes I move around.
I am a new shopper in the San Francisco Bay Area. So far, I have done 5 batches. The tips are only 2-$5.00. What's up with that ?!? I see from the comments here--- people getting decent tips. I have been working my butt off so far--big orders. Little money. Why are these people tipping so low ? Does the computer automatically calculate a tip amount ?
Where iam there is never ever ever $1 an item batch. I am in Toronto Canada and if you get 40 cents per item your doing well. all $20 batches are all double and triple batches. I have never in 4 weeks working seen a batch hit $30
Another thing, I found out that a no tip or low tip customer are more likely to give bad ratings too. I was getting 5 stars and picking only high tip orders. Than when I tried to do a small or no tip order, I gotten a low rating from that person. Be careful of the cheapskates out there.
I live in indiana it's hard to get batches that are a dollar per item. If I take a batch over $50 I'm gonna be shopping for 75 items. Those are few and far between too.
Let’s be honest, no one is making $40-$50/hr from Instacart no matter what tips and tricks you have. It’d be hard do do that even if all you had to do was drop off the groceries from store to house all day long.
I also send several pictures to the customer chat. I send a picture of the inside of each bag with the most expensive thing on top showing. It helps a lot with fraudulent customers.
I don’t necessarily believe in hourly wage for instacart. I just go based off profitable batches cause if you count the other apps your using and instacart you will make is $25-$30. (The difference usually changes after putting gas). I have my regular job at $22 an hr this app I use for side income and just look for the most profitable batches. I never go based on hourly pay because there are days you make as little as 18/hr
I only shop at the warehouses! It takes way to much time and aggravation to shop at the reg grocery stores!! To many replacements and refunds!!! Especially when this Covid crap came. I start at 10am and stop at 4pm..
Hi Julie! Yes, seems like the big box stores are better regarding inventory. For some though shopping at the big box stores can be intimidating. I did a double order today and it took me forever!! Lol! I need to get better at the big box stores, because I think of shoppers master these it’s to your benefit. The payouts are better and again,, there never seems to be a low stock issue. 💛
I have taken batches with no tips, but only after those batch are assigned the peak boost. I will watch those orders and it normal takes about a hour or so, than they get that peak boost. I wait until the peak boost goes up 3 times. It normal works well on Sundays, but I stay with batches with less than 20 items. So that way I'm not losing any money and so far, when I've done that the people have given me a tip at the door.
That’s a great strategy, Lynn. Love that you are thinking it through and making it work so you’re profitable! Awesome you are getting tips at the door, too! 🎉👊🏼💛
Wow my shop time is 115. I’ve only been at it for a month and I’m getting better, though I’ve been trying to get out of my comfort zone and shop different stores like central market and Tom Thumb. Tom Thumb is always a nightmare for me, I don’t shop there I shop at Kroger so I know the store like the back of my hand. I average almost 220 on my Tom Thumb orders. It’s horrific.🥴 I don’t know how you’re able to offer such careful communication and shop so quickly. I usually have multiple multiple items that are out of stock and customers that are slow to respond. A 20 item order usually takes me 30 mins to sshop at my max speed, sweating and hustling. Idk how you guys do it with the shop speed. 😫
I think your math is a little off, but it’d be great to get through shopping and checkout in 12 minutes! 57 sec/item is about 1 min/item, and if you take a 20-item batch, it would be about 20 minutes to complete your shopping. Realistically, with getting in and out of the store as well as delivery time, it’s very difficult to fit in two batches within an hour at that speed.
I see batches 30 minutes away but not familiar with the area at all. Do you depend on the gps app to get you from the store to the customer or did you invest in a gps. I’m just leary about delivering in an unfamiliar area.
I use my trusty GPS on my iPhone and have never been wrongfully directed. Before I will shop in an area I’ve never been, I do do a quick demographic check on the area. I look at average median income and if it’s more residential or apartment living. I am incredibly picky where I will drive, having said that I am very comfortable shopping in unchartered areas! No need to invest in a gps if you use your phone’s navigation. 💛
Good. Just change it up a bit. Yes, I would be very uncomfortable if my GPS wasn’t accurate. Maybe in that case I would recommend a back up. I hope you have lots of luck today! 💛
JEN-on-the-GO! Keep us in your prayers. Most everything will close by 12:00 pm today due to Hurricane Delta including Instacart platform. But they expect it to be very busy Saturday and Sunday!
Ohhhh noooo. You have my prayers and all of our support! What’s important is that YOU and your family are SAFE. Please don’t push it or put yourself at risk. All my love. ❤️
Who takes $7 no tip batches? The shoppers with lower ratings that have no choice but to take them to try to get their rating back up!! And also the faster you go, the more mistakes you'll make. Thanks for the one dollar per item advice though, I'll try this one from now on!! One tip I would have for shoppers is for Aldi or a smaller store in particular. I like to park my cart(s) in the middle of the store and just go to different aisels to retrieve items until my arms are full then take it all to the cart. This seems especially helpful with a bigger batch where it's easier than pushing a heavy cart(s) through the store the whole time.
Yes! And Instacart needs to stop disguising no tippers into 2 and 3 customer batches! It's not right or fair to the shoppers who choose not to shop for no tippers!
Kim Wint I do agree. I remember going out my way for a customer and it was a double. They was first on the delivery, I got there and this guy yelled out the window to leave it on the porch, I told him I could not leave the order because it had wine, he came down n had to show his ID, so I delivered the next order also had wine, she was so nice and gave me a 10 cash tip. After swiping and checking my earnings a little later I realize the guy didn’t leave a tip, that’s when I realized they do this by doubling the order so you can’t see who tip. That’s total deception.
@@candelariaw1668 I find the no tipping batches will sit for along time on the screen and then all of a sudden it disappears only to reappear as part of a double and triple batch. It is wrong and deceitful for Instacart to do this.
Do you get penalized for being online and not taking batches? I'm waiting to go on my first run, but I haven't seen a good starting batch yet. I didn't know if waiting for more effects you or not?
Right, I do not shop the NO TIP batches. What is the purpose of Instart having promotions such as guaranteed $34 for 3 batches? Is it to get more people shopping? Thanks
That is such an insult, right! I really hope the Instacart shoppers will stop taking these batches. The reason why Instacart sends them is because people are taking them! It is degrading and unacceptable.💛
It has been terribly slow here in Northern CA. You get a ton bad batches when it is slow. I'm pretty sure it'll turn around for Thanksgiving and the Holidays.
I was at a 4.88 rating and the next day I got back to 4.98 from a 1 rating that finally went away lol I'm so thankful what a huge difference for the simple fact that the batches don't go fast u have time to look at them and the money is better.i can imagine those who are at 5 star lol but yea i guess the rating really does make a difference wow
Congrats on getting your rating back up! It does indeed, make a difference. We have to go so hard with customer service, and therefore it’s imperative that we scrutinize the batch payment and Tips. We just can’t settle! Hope you are having a great week! 💛
Hi Jen, I love your videos. Just started, I an a 55 year old female and I wanted to know how to avoid orders that have really having items that needs taken up flights of stairs? How do you handle an order like this? I have only done one so far and had to carry several heavy items up a flight of stairs and it was a no tip order... big mistake but I am just learning and thanks to you, I will never do that again.
Hi Gina. Yeah, this is a tough one. For me, I avoid areas that have apartment buildings and condos. If you shop in these areas it’s likely you will be delivering nearby, as well. Try to stick to The areas that are residential. as there are few were stairs. 💛 if you are in an area that is not residential, Amazon sells cart dollies that are made to climb up stairs. 💛
Hi Jen I think I have messaged you before I just became a instacart shopper about a week and a half ago I've already taken so far since I've started probably about maybe five batches I'm very selective but also very scared because I'm still new to this and trying to get used to it all I've taken a lot of Walmart in my area and I've taken Aldi but I'm still scared to take Costco I don't know why I just I'm afraid of Costco right now cuz I'm not very comfortable yet but I am learning how to do this more specially in Walmart but I have a question for you I took a batch today at my local Walmart in my area for 17 items and the batch payment was $25 and $4 tip now can you tell me if I did the right thing I did take it but again my speed is not that fast yet I'm still learning I know I'll get there as more I do the more I'll get experience at it and I believe the mileage from the store to the customer's house might have been about 7 or 8 Miles away I might have I could be a little off but yeah I just wanted to know if that was a good choice the more I do the better I'll become. And I love watching your videos I learned so much off of you and some others but yes I think I over think these batches and since I'm new I'm afraid to take double batches or triple batches right now because my speed isn't up to par if you will so I'm just going to keep on taking single batches for now until I get much faster at this.
Hey Jen! My account was hacked this weeks for the 2nd time in 2 months 🤦🏽♀️ I’d like to share the details with you in hopes that you can share with your viewers to help them avoid this 😞 thankfully I got My account back but it is currently still messed up as far as my rating down and competed batches that were. Done by the hacker and look very odd.
Hi Alina!! I miissed this comment ! So sorry! YES!! Please share your details and I will absolutely share on this channel. You can email me at jenonthego2@gmail.com Looking forward to hearing from you. 💛
There is a customer that had 10 cases of 24pk water which i took accidentally then looked and made sure it wasn't an apartment, since there was no unit#. Shopped the batch and as I pulled up to an apartment complex, I had to call the customer to find out what unit. They were on the 2nd floor, middle of hallway no elevator. I was so upset. Saw the same batch pop up the other day 1 item/10 units. $20 is not enough to haul all that water up stairs.
Oh nooooooo! These are the hardest. Please look into a trolly dolly that climbs stairs. It may help with these orders. I’ve definitely had my accidental share of heavy orders. Ugh!! 💛
Why would someone that lives in an apartment want 10 cases of water ? Ther is probably only a few people there. That sounds liek something you would take to a football team .
When you say your “hourly rate” are you calculating just using the hours on The instacart app to complete and deliver or do you include drive time to the store from your starting point?
Hi. The hourly rate is from earning stated on the app. My miles are not factored in. Having said that, I stay pretty close to home so I am fortunate there.! 💛
Buy you have to think check out, loading, unloading, paying taxes, paying gas, and etc. Speed helps you make more money but taking a no tip batch for 7$ you're losing money l- $7 )barely pays for taxes and gas.
Can you do a detailed video about double/triple batches? It seems like instacart is bundling 90% of the batches know. Is this were they are heading permanently? I am shocked to see these batches being gobbled up by shoppers in my area. Wondering if people are hurting so bad they have no choice. Seems shoppers are setting themselves up for disaster
I would love to address the doubles and triples again in a video! It so shameful how IC lots these batches together, and shoppers rush to grab them. I know shoppers often don't have a choice, but we need to re route the IC algorithm so IC has no choice but to stop throwing shoppers this shameful garbage. Thanks for your support!💛
Hi Sharon, here is the link to the video where I’m talking about these bags. They are an absolute lifesaver and must have. You will find a link in the description box on this video. Thanks so much! 💛 Amazon HAUL / THINGS INSTACART SHOPPERS NEED /2020
Thanks JEN-on-the-go to make those helping tips videos ... I would like you talk about , the internal system errors .. today it happened to me .. the system error 39 didn't let me log in at least in 6 hours! 😠
@@JENontheGO they never answered 🥺. Just waited , so I started to work around 2 pm ... I tried to look information up , didn't find any answer , although many shoppers have reported that same error.
Happened twice today alone
I got tipped $25 for two bags of m&m and 2 bags of Doritos
Hi Alexis! 💛
Me too east fur them I'd a never brought home 90 a night lmfao yep thats all 90 all freaking day

Congrats same here ❤

FACTS! Why do shoppers continue to take them. Such a slap in the face and degrading. No MAM. 💛
We will see of I find the energy to get back out lol 😆
absolutely agree, batches with massive tips are usually really nice people. i get only complaints with no or low tip batches
There’s definitely a pattern here with the better tippers causing less issues. I choose my batches based on tip alone.
That's not true.
I love your integrity you should be getting way more views due to the content realism and morals you have
I requested this topic. This is sooo helpful!!! Thank you Jen. I dropped a "Like", as always.
Thank you so much, Donald! I know you did. Happy it helps. That’s why I’m here! Thank you for the Like, too! Have a great weekend and stay safe! 💛
Yay!! So happy you went up! Patience & consistency! Happy To help. Stay away from the NO tip orders. They are bad news! Have a great weekend! 💛
In my market, if I waited around for a dollar per item batch I'd never work. They are always $14 to shop 30-40 items.
Ohhhh. That’s tough. Is there anyway you could explore other markets?
@@JENontheGO Same here impossible $1 per item... $13.35 Instacart & $5 tip 41items/57 units and that is a decent batch...

Most of the time I only look for tip amount, not so good most of the time. Today I took a batch for $ 38.79 65 items 1 mile from store $21 tip 😟 total time in the store and delivering one hour and 30 minutes. Replacements take much of my time. I’d there a faster way to do replacements. ??
Yes!! No tippers are huge red flags.
Right??!! Shoppers are taking these batches! I wish they wouldn’t! These shops are hard work and we work way too hard to not be compensated! Hope you are having a great week! 💛
i agree and probably a lot of trouble as well like missing items and damaged items
If shoppers would stop taking these no tip batches then maybe instacart would catch on and start requiring at least a small percent tip

Instacart how can customers leave a negative rating for low stock. That shouldn’t be an option for them to rate because the store is low on items.
You are right. They should not be able to do that. According to Instacart, they are removing the ratings that are given due to low stock. Make sure you contact instacart support if this has happened to you. Hopefully they will remove the rating.
@@JENontheGO They do remove the rating due to low stock, I had that happen the other day. Too bad she was able to take my tip....
I agree
How do ya know the low rating is cause of low stock though? They just give stars with no explanation
Really.
Exactly. I have had my tip lowered because of the stores lack of inventory
Thanks so much! Hopefully IC stays around for a minute longer! 💛

@@JENontheGO impossible in my area it never happens. I would not get one batch....
Thank you so much for your advice and completely agree...I don’t understand how someone wouldn’t tip but oh well I’ll pick and choose

i'll be honest speed is important and my speed is not the greatest but i really just focus on quality
That’s okay! Keep focusing on quality! Your speed will come! So many tips for that! 💛
Yes me too....
I used to set my alarm for 7am, make coffee, and lay in bed until I grab a batch. Now I can grab batches whenever I want thanks to Gigshield.
Very helpful since I am about to become a shopper! Thank you soooo much for that valuable information! Peace n Love!
Thank you so much! I learned a lot. How many miles should you look for for a 10 min drive?
@@JENontheGO absolutely right! Thank you and you too! It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada 🙂
Wow!! Happy Thanksgiving!! ❤️
This Advise is Gold🙏🏽Thank you.
That's so disappointing 😞
How do you deal with these situations?
Thanks ❤
Hello I'm a new subscriber I love your straight to the point and honesty
No tip no shop. If a person don’t offer a tip it show what they truly think about the shopper who get their groceries. I never take a order with no tip even if they tip later.
Agree with you, wholeheartedly! 💛
How do you calculate your money per hour? Based on the time in the instacart app or actual time worked?
I would love to hear someone talk about tips when the zones don't exceed the $30 or $40 range that everyone speaks of. I started in November in the Georgia area and rarely do I see quality batches for 20+ and yes I move around.
Great video subject! 💛
@@JENontheGO Yes, Batch strategies when your zone is not a high dollar zone.

I never see batches over $30
I love you sir thanks to you I got more batches #KARPTECH UA-cam CHANNEL you deserve an accolades.
Not now, but back then, yes. 💛
Most honest comment of them all. I made $86 one day, in a 12-hour span. Took one $7 no tip, then my account got hacked.
This has been a challenging time but you still did a good job for me. God bless you man #Geetechz
I also send several pictures to the customer chat. I send a picture of the inside of each bag with the most expensive thing on top showing. It helps a lot with fraudulent customers.

Don’t matter who tips it’s about what amount the batch is how many miles that’s it
My zone is not high $$ zone , so I have to do batch strategy. But thank you Jein 😊
Strategy is so important! Have a great weekend! 💛
It’s horrific.🥴
I don’t know how you’re able to offer such careful communication and shop so quickly.
It’s definitely a squeeze, but I’m able to get two done in an hour in with low items and close. ❤️

I'm not sure who takes these $7.00 batches without tips. I am seriously so surprised they get picked up! Thank you for the cart tip!💛
What about the multi batches that Instacart hides the non-tip batches with them.

Kim Wint sure is.

up a flight of stairs and it was a no tip order... big mistake but I am just learning and thanks to you, I will never do that again.

My account back but it is currently still messed up as far as my rating down and competed batches that were.
Trying to find your link for idea bags on Amazon. Happy New Year!
Hi Sharon, here is the link to the video where I’m talking about these bags. They are an absolute lifesaver and must have. You will find a link in the description box on this video. Thanks so much! 💛
Amazon HAUL / THINGS INSTACART SHOPPERS NEED /2020
Thanks JEN-on-the-go to make those helping tips videos ... I would like you talk about , the internal system errors .. today it happened to me .. the system error 39 didn't let me log in at least in 6 hours! 😠
Oohhhhh noooo. The entire day! Curious what IC support told you.
@@JENontheGO they never answered 🥺. Just waited , so I started to work around 2 pm ... I tried to look information up , didn't find any answer , although many shoppers have reported that same error.
high batches have just been coming in rapidly ever since I contacted him
i feel like small batch customers with a decent tip are most likely to tip twice or increase the tip after.
great message your awsome
#Geetechz the love you show people by adding multiple batches and reactivating accounts shows how professional you are, you are the best.
How can you tell if a triple batch has 1 order with no tip?
