I can't get enough of this band! I love the fact that so little was rehearsed and that everyone stepped up to mark, wherever Miles decided to go. The way the band turns on a dime is incredible. Thanks for sharing!
Many thanks once again. Apparently ORTF recorded both sets on 2nd & 3rd June. This from Jan Lohman, although he mentions that only this set was broadcast. The 3rd was the night when the power bombed out before the final tune 'Jean-Pierre', & Miller is heard playing the bass line on Tenor. Don't you just love it when that happens! lol! BW J
RE: 'Ife' - "The tune was revived in late 1981, where it replaced Kix in the setlist, and was played regularly throughout 1982". I never knew this! I am very heartbroken though.

Yes, indeed- Marcus is such a brilliant musician, he just swapped instruments. I have posted that show, perhaps it's time to give it a revamp.
