I can not believe I am seeing this and hearing this .... OMG this is good... And on PHC!! Keep up such a show with such extraordinary talents!!
This was a delight. One suggestion to the APHC video team: you had three world-class musicians on stage here. You showed alternating closeups of... two of them, including a closeup of Chris doing very little while Edgar was playing something really exciting. In the future, could you give a little closeup attention to all of the performers?
on another video from that nite there's a trumpet playing in the midst of a bluegrass song, and never did a camera shoot the trumpet player!
Chris Thile never looks like he's going to break even the slightest sweat. Plays Bach while almost laughing.
Playing Bach with these musicians must be a great feeling.
chris said his second Bach CD will be coming out in 2017.

Has this been to Carnegie Hall. If it’s never been done there, what’s the delay? Sounds like a pandemic over opener event to me, when it’s over.
So, Yo Yo is playing the Da Gamba part and the Harpsichord part is divided between Chris and Edgar? Is that it?
That's it. I think that's how they usually do it; there's an awesome live Goat Rodeo Sessions recording of the last movement of the first Gamba Sonata where Yo-Yo also plays the gamba part and Chris takes the high harpsichord part with Edgar covers the basses
