I have both 9c and 9sc solid pistol over a 1,000 round on the 9c no issues 9sc 600 round zero issue as well 115 grain 124, 147 steel aluminum brass hollow point eats everything..
Personally, I liked this gun better than Glock and I own a Glock 19. The trigger is better, the grip is better and feels more 1911ish, gun points better, has better serrations and ofcourse is close to half the price of a Glock. Very underrated gun. If I had to describe this gun, it would be if Glock and the M&P had a baby.
My STR9C is my day to day carry about 80% of the time! I have red dot ready model that i got for $199 after $100 sale and $50 mail in rebate! Ironically i had never heard of the gun until i was on way to store snd was listening to a comparison video of pistols under $400 and they were raving about it! I went in looking for a tps9sfx canik which sportsman warehouse didn't have and walked out with that seriously 25 mins later! Was fastest gun purchase i ever made! LoL i did get the tps9sfx the next day at Dunham's but still that night was thinking what did i just buy... Found out i absolutely love it!
@@jeffshootsstuff Ha! I absolutely loved it! I now actually have 3 of them! I had a TPS9DA as well but traded that and a G2C in on a Canik elite SC! I also have a white digital camo pattern Mete SFT. I traded the G2C in because I bought a G3C Toro and after I purchased the Mete I no longer really needed the iron sights only Tps9da!
I'm picking mine up tomorrow! I was choosing between the Sdv9 2.0 and the stoegie. There's no comparison. The stoeger feels like a "quality" gun in the $500-$600 price range at a fraction of the price! And at that price, I have no worries about losing my gun for a bit to Johnny Law if a self-defense scenario ever arises.
I got mine for $199 at Cabela's just over 700 rounds and it runs just as good as all my CZ.'s & 1911'S. Now this is in my rotation for EDC it ate and spit every type of ammo i ran through it with not one issue. Amazing for the price. I may do some videos in the near future too.
Got 1 two weeks ago. I’ve already put several hundred rounds to it. I haven’t had one single problem at all. I seriously think that you got should need to check this gun out.
I have a stoeger str9 full size. CAN SOMEONE please tell me if a glock 17 gen 3/4 recoil spring assembly will fit in the stoeger str9 full size?? the recoil spring is weak causing failure to go into battery issues/
Yes it will fit and function in the Stoeger. I made a video short for you if interested. You can NOT put the Stoeger RSA into the Glock. The guide rod nose is too large to fit through the Glock slide hole.
He is my problem with this platform. Ultimately , the cost of extra magazines keep stopping me from making the purchase. Literally it's another glock clone and a glock clone should take glock magazines that are common and reasonably affordable. If you want one extra magazine for the STR-9 By the time you paid for shipping it's gonna cost you $50.00. You want 3 extra magazines you've just about bought the gun again. This in my opinion was a deliberate move by Stoger to have a Back doorway way of bumping up the revenue on the platform. I also have an ethical issue with that. In my opinion, I would just get another clone there is plent out there that take the readily available and much more affordable glock pattern magazines.
Buds has a deal on the STR 9, which comes with 2 mags for 220. Non optic, which is perfect for me. Hard decision between the standard and the 9F. Great video!
I just got me one one for $400 I was worried because people saying that gun jams up I hope not this my second pew pew my first one is a Glock 43x I just wanted a smaller gun carry
@@jeffshootsstuff I had got the Stoeger str 9 mc but the girl missed up in give me the str 9 sc same size of my Glock 43x it the grip lol small dang it
I owned a bunch of cheap guns in my life. This gun did not feel like a budget gun. The slide on mine is good and it has a 4 & half pound trigger. This isnt a hi point, you dont need to go full gun bro.
$25 resale is def making a joke, but... I can't see ever wanting to sell either my STR-9 or STR-9SC. For reference, my other daily drivers are S&W and Glock. 2,500+ rds through the full size, and 6-700 rds through the SC, both wearing like iron and fun every time (and the triggers just get better with use...). I bought them to shoot until they won't anymore, looks like that will take some time.
You narration and knowledge about these pistols was very enjoyable. I especially liked the in depth discussion about gun locks.
LOL thanks Toad
Getting ready to pick one up on Wednesday and I found this video very helpful and informative. Thank you so much!!
Glad it was helpful!
It's not a crappy firearm, it's a great firearm for the price!
That’s the truth
I'm picking one up on Friday at a black Fridays sale. $249 sale price with a $75 mail in rebate😄! That makes this a $150 9mm pistol🙏👍
The STR9 is a big improvement over the Glock. I have about 2000 rounds thru mine with no issues.
Good to hear!
Don’t ever disrespect Glock like that again 😂

Two99! Dang. Have you had your hands on a PSA Dagger? I have always wondered how those two handguns would compare to each other.
No but I hear good things. I love PSA generally

Not necessarily
Very nice video I bought a stoeger str-9 9mm and luv it
Cool!
ah yes, but can u do a review on the Stoeger STR-10? 👀
Haven’t heard of that one…
Oh the 10mm version, hell yeah man, review that next 😁
I will when they make one. If you pay for the ammo 😆

If you want Glock parts in stoegerwhy not just just get a Glock?
@@raymondconway7416 Because the Block is boring, overpriced and cheaply made Raymond.
Good review. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
It's a great gun and I love mine, but all proprietary parts and Stoeger hasn't had anything in stock for months. Can't even find night sights for it.
Yeah they should have definitely used M&P or Glock sights for compatibility.
Mags dont interchange with glock or sig. Apart of that after 1500 rounds, not even one jam. Eats all.
Thanks for the report!
It fits in a Recover Tactical P-IX 😁
Good to know. Thanks!
Is there a safety switch??
There is a passive firing pin/striker block safety and a trigger safety but no manual thumb safety lever if that’s what you mean.
@@jeffshootsstuff oh ok! Could you do a video on it perhaps? 🙏

I checked today and it's up to 249. still a good deal though.
The mags are 35 bucks it comes with one . 2 extra magazines would run $ 84 with shipping and tax
Yep! Thanks
I ended up getting rid of the stoeger str9, it was just so big. It shot nicely, had a stovepipe or two. Nothing crazy. But now carry m&p compact.
Yeah for carry this would be a big commitment.
ITS HARD TO BEAT FOR THE MONEY
Indeed!
That's a very good deal. I paid $270 without optics but it did include the FFL fee.
Still a good deal on a good gun
Currently $159.99 after rebate in my area. 🤠

Do you know if the Stoeger str-9 magazines fit in a str-9F?
I believe the frames are identical so the magazines should interchange.
