I never what to get on the mat in the day. My first thought, "I don't want to do it". As soon as my feet hit the floor, they walk me straight to my yogas room. There, I find my cat and dog on the mat waiting for me to start. We do this every morning and everyday I get on the mat. I also think to my self OMG 45 or 50 mins. Yes and I do every minute and some time more if I have to rewind a part. Allie's 45-50 mins seem like 30 min and I left thinking "THAT'S IT" lol. Allie you have a way of making this a wonderful way of waking up in the morning. I thank angle (my cat), Mo Mo (my dog), myself and you Allie for all you give.
I appreciate you so so much and that you (and the fur babes!) continue to meet me on the mat each day! Your dedication to your practice is seriously inspiring and I'm just honored to be a part of your journey in any form ❤️
I have to comment again because WOW, talk about feeling alive, well and radiant!!! Thank you so so much Allie, I was experiencing some getting on the mat resistance today but I know that is something that must be continually pushed through. I've been working through a lot of emotional clearing and healing things that have come up, so I just wanted to say thank you for pushing me through those heavier emotions and taking me to the finish line of yet another gorgeous class. This was such a great practice. I had to take a hiatus from yoga for a couple weeks so I have been feeling really down and out having to go from yoga twice a day to nothing at all. This was my first practice I could go all in on in almost 2 weeks, I loved it!!! Great core work

I love yoga and if I stay a day without yoga I feel really bad. But somedays (like today) I really don't want to do nothing (I am not tired or nothing) and I just want the class to end (it's not your fault I love your classes), should I keep doing the class or I should be lazy? #Portugal
Always listen to your body! If you need a rest because you're tired, honor that, but always remember how good yoga makes you feel and if you're just feeling lazy, try to push through ❤️
Hey Allie, technique question. When in side plank, arm is over the shoulder. With side plank modification, hip is raised. Does the arm stay under the shoulder or, since moving hips up, now hand slightly beyond shoulder? ..and of course thanks for the video! I hadn't done some of these side plank modifications before. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Great question Todd! I recommend and have always been taught hand not directly under the shoulder, but slightly forward! And in any version of the pose (minus the knee down), we want to lift the hips and recruit the core! Let me know if that doesn't make sense and appreciate you getting on the mat with me
