After two years, what are your thoughts on this skimmer? Are you still using it? Lastly, how does it compare to the Reef Octopus Elite 200? My current skimmer is the Elite 200 and I would say that those two are a good comparison. Thanks
What is the recommendation on the water level? What about cleaning the cup, do u have to disconnect the sensor, how hard , does it unplug or just pop it out, could be a pain in the ass
Those plugs on the side are the recommended water level. If you want to clean the lid you will need to remove the switch. The float switch has a rubberized coating and is very easy to remove and reinstall. No worries here.
@@MadHattersReef i have a mixed reef 120, the bioload isn't crazy high. I have 4 small to midsize fish in it. I currently have a reef octopus 150sss on it. It works, but after watching this. I know this is what I need/want in the future.
