I decided to repair my fog lights and the previous owner had wired them wrong. I downloaded a manual and the auxiliary wiring was very straight forward.

Hello,I found a parasitic draw on my truck,disconnect the horns in the left front fender,you will have to pull the inner lining back,hold it open with a small 2x4.I found my horns did not work,the fuse was out,but on day the horns blew,no fuse,,,then I started to have a draw on the truck,kill the battery totally in 2 days,run them low in one day....Hope you find it,I got lucky knowing my horns were acting funny.....Plus when I did has a fuse in it,before the draw,the horns would blow,in the middle of the night,when it got really cold out,probably a horn pad issue.Never got to it this summer,to busy doing work to the engine,Good luck,,,,

i believe that wire he had hooked the aux switch to was the high idle override wire. It's a purple wire with a green stripe through it. I've seen people hook it to aux 3-4 or even to the fog light switch ( if they didn't have fog lights). You just need to add power to that override wire and it will put your truck into high idle.

Pull the main light switch toward you. That's how mine is wired.

I've had my F450 for almost 10 years and just found out last month how to turn those on. I've never used them.
