How to Reset/Troubleshoot Kwikset 92640-001 Lock

If your Kwikset 92640-001 Electronic Keypad Deadbolt is not working properly, performing a factory reset can help resolve the problem.
Also, if you've lost your Programming Code, resetting the lock will remove all the existing codes and return the lock to factory defaults so you can reprogram it and add new code.
