I can’t even get mine to do the door handling detection process. I continually get the 3 beeps and red light.

Hi there,
It looks like the installation is incorrect. Try removing the interior assembly. Then reinstall it and make sure the Thumb Turn is set in the vertical position and the latch bolt retracted while reinstalling it.
Next, reset the lock and perform the door handing detection process.
