I installed it following the instructions. When i came to the electronic part is where my issue occurred. I reset it, did my master code to do the door identification process, and when it was supposed to come out and go back in automatically, it didnt. The inside lock would move slightly forward and back a few times with beeps and then nothing happens. The motor inside is trying to turn the lock but it wont work. If i use the key, its fine as well as manually locking it from the interior side. Help!

Auto lock is a bad design for those kind of doors, it is easy to damage your door frame from our experience, so just disable it!!!

@@benkohout5047 It looks like you're entering an incorrect Programming Code. After resetting the lock, it's back to factory defaults. So you'll need to enter the preset Programming Code -- printed on a white/yellow sticker on the back of the exterior assembly.

@@lilytetteh2822 Do you want to override the current temperature? If yes, hit the Hold button (you should see "hold" on the screen). Next, use the arrow up/down buttons to adjust the temperature to your desired temperature.

This worked. When I go to unlock the door is the lock supposed to beep red after I enter my new code? it never did this before. Your thoughts?
You should see a green flash instead of a red one. This usually happens if you enter an incorrect code or if vacation mode is enabled. Double check that you're entering the correct code you just changed. If that checks out, vacation mode could be enabled. Enter your Programming Code (the 6 digit code). If vacation mode is active, you will hear a long beep and see a green flash, indicating vacation mode is now turned off. Now, try to unlock it again.
How do you find out the programming code if you no longer have one??
You'll need to remove the lock from the door. Then check the back of the exterior assembly -- the programming code is usually printed on a yellow/white sticker. Note that if the code was previously changed, the default code won't work. If it doesn't work, reset the lock to return it to factory defaults. Now, you can use the programming code you found on the lock to program it.

@@ShakerHP It's the same process as shown in this video. Open the app and select the smart plug (long-press it a bit to select it). You should see the"remove device" option below -- tap it to delete the device. Now, you can set it up afresh. Alternatively, press and hold the power button (for about 5 seconds) until the LED blinks rapidly. The smart plug is back to factory defaults and you can set it up again.
Mine is beeping lightly every minute. Had to reset it for just not working, now it works but has a beep... very slight beeping

Hi! It keeps flashing red
@@crissybellita Reset the lock and try again. After the reset, the lock is back to factory defaults and the default Master Code is 12345678. Make sure your new code contains random numbers. The lock won't accept: Forward sequence numbers -- 123456... Backward sequence -- 65432... Repeat sequence -- 11111.. So make sure you choose random numbers as your new Master Code (4-10 digits).
No matter what I did it wouldn’t connect to my home. Followed all Meross instructions, made a test home and it connected to that no problem. My fix was to disconnect all the home hubs to clear the cache, for my WiFi I restarted it, I use Eero. Reset the smart plug to factory default, connected immediately.
