Thanks for your thoroughness! I’ve been trying to decide between this and the 4000 but this makes me just want to go for it and get the 5000. Enjoy your rack!
Mine are matte black. When I was researching there were comments that the matte was more resistant to surface scratches. I also don't really want / need shiny and prefer more of a texture
Don't apologize. If it makes you feel bad you can take your savings and invest them in another local or US company. How much does it matter where the robots and CNC machines are located?
I just got one and I love it. I do realize now 47 inch wide is a bit too narrow for me and squatting I feel I'm going to hit my hands reracking and will have to learn to put hands closer together. That's my only criticism.
I just got the Rogue Kabukki Transformer bar where its padded, has 6 squat variations and you hold it out front solved the problem and now squatting is as comfortable as it can get!@@gamesngunz
It's matte black. I wanted less shine (and fingerprints) so I went that way and would 100% get matte again. If you ever want to get the sliding attachments like Athena/Ares my understanding is the metallic has a bit less friction so that might be a consideration
How is doing pull-ups at 80 inches? Does it seem low? I’m in the same boat as you with ceiling height. Debating Rogues 90” vs Reps 80”. I can BARELY swing getting the Rogue but it’s high for my room
I upgraded most of my equipment to Rep Fitness, customer service and shipping was exactly how you described. You have a great setup!👊
I have the rogue monster lite , thinking of switching to this
Exceptional review. Thank you for thoroughly covering this rack.

I think it's definitely worth it. You won't lust after anything out there ever again...
Buy the 5000 trust me. There isn’t the cost savings to justify the 4000 versus the future upgradability of the 5000.
Me as well. Thanks for the recommendation and strong endorsement of the 5000.
Nice review. I’m looking forward to your future ones.
Thank you for the review. Are the pr5000 uprights matte black or metallic black?

Great review! I'm looking at this rack atm. If you ever in the future do an Ares or Athena upgrade, I'd love to see that review.
I am strongly considering them. Wife will absolutely kill me though, so there's that

I could definitely see that if you're used to 49. Fortunately for me I use a close grip when squatting so it wasn't a concern. You'll get used to it

nice review man, what kind of bar is that? Also, did you try the Rogue monster straps on the PR 5000? If so, why did you not like them?
Ah that's the Rogue C-70S bar. I kind of built the whole setup around it. Review coming soon ish
When do you plan do release the rep vs rogue j cups review? I need to buy a new set ASAP lol
Is this matte black? What would you recommend between the matte black and metallic black? Thanks

Not optimal but definitely doable. If I'm going aggressively I find I have to tuck my legs sometimes to get full ROM
where did you get your safety straps
They're Stray Dog Strength. Review here. ua-cam.com/video/TYSxAFVcTqg/v-deo.html
