I just found your tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing your technique on hinging Signature pages. This so helpful. I am new to junk journaling and could not come up with any idea how to make pages larger. Thank you so much.
Sharon, Thank you so much, I have been waiting for this tutorial. Would you please do a video where you put together a whole signature and include your thought process on how you sew, place pockets, tucks, and use all the different materials (vellum, bees wax, faux rice paper, etc.). Love ❤️ your journals.
This is a really nifty idea with the decorative edges, takes a way the ripped messy look, unless you make a grungy book then messy edges look good too. I like the machine look as well. Thanks for the tips.
Hi Susan. I’m not sure what kind of cheese cloth this is as it was gifted to me by a family member who found it in an old shed. It does seem to have a tighter weave than most.
Hi Sharon, I was wondering if you could tell me where you get your cheesecloth. I am in Canada and so far, all I have found is the looser weave and that is great for some projects, but I really like it for the hinge method. If by chance you get it from Amazon, could you send me a link. Love all these ideas for hinging. Thanks so much for sharing. Take Care Hugs and Smiles
Hi Lori. I’m afraid I can’t be very helpful with that question. The cheese cloth I use I received from a family member who found a box full in her shed. I don’t know where it came from or what it was used for. It does have a fairly tight weave to it. Sorry about that!
Thank you for this tutorial! Very concise and clear instruction - not long or drawn out. I will definitely benefit from watching this.
Thank you so much. I'm glad you found it useful!💌

May I ask what kind of cheese cloth you use? Mine is nothing like what you are using. Thank you

I was thinking the same thing. It almost looks like a sheer linen.
Thank you
I think gauze bandage roll or strips may work in place of cheesecloth

Hi there. Same question here, so I looked online. It appears Sharon is using voile lawn, probably cotton. Great tiute, isn’t it?
