      Are you very overweight, do you take 500mg twice a day directly after eating, have you tried it for at least 7 weeks. Because the way it worked for me was changing my eating habits but only after roughly 2 months of taking it. Yes I could still snack if I wanted but it helped me firstly cut back on snacking them cut the size of meals that satisfied me in half. I at times have to force myself to eat.sorry it did not work for you as it has absolutely changed my life. I have not lost a lot of weight. Only about 10lbs in 7 months but that has been from my belly fat. Maybe you need to give it more time and at the same time actively acknowledge your lack of appetite. Just so many good benefits to be had.

    I have been taking berberine since January 2021. I lost 38 pounds adding this. Some things to watch for is chelation of iron, liver enzymes going up and kidneys getting a lil to healthy to the point of being on the low low side of tests. I also did an Intestinal ISO enzymes test and it was 0 because of the berberine. The good things are my CRP is 1, my fasting insulin got to an 8, Cholesterol numbers went down ,HDL went up, NO more joint pains , Rosacea flare ups lessened. So many benefits to BERBERINE. It is a very powerful herb.

    Unless some sort of revenue generating patent can be applied to a compound in berberine, it is very unlikely that any pharmaceutical company will spend a dime on any large-scale study as to its effectiveness. Saying there are no large studies regarding berberine is true, but unless money is spent on the necessary research, we just won't know except for the testimonials of people who think it does provide some benefit.

    • @thereisaseason2889
      @thereisaseason2889 7 місяців тому

      No, saying no large studies from the FDA may be true, but smaller holistic labs study their plant medicine. It should be up to the consumer to decide who to trust and nowadays I can assure you that big pharma connected FDA has lost ground due to the blatant greed and disregard for human life over profit. We are not stupid, we are just human beings trying to survive in a system that believes that humans are a commodity to be used as pawns in the Hunger Games that were already planned centuries ago. The system may win here, temporarily, but in the end the system is destroyed by God almighty. It has been prophesied for over 2,000 years. The time is drawing near.

    Berberine is effective for heart issues, so that's number one, helps you lose weight that's a bonus, but if you stop using seed oils and reduce the carbohydrate consumption to as close to zero as you can manage, and last but not least eat real food not the packaged convenience foods than you will automatically lose weight. Anything in a packet is almost always bad for your weight and health. Keto, Keto Carnivore, or Carnivore are all the best ways to manage your health.

    I started taking it after I read the paper of a proper peer reviewed scientific study on the effects of berberine on arterial plaques. Then I found some more papers where the safety and other properties were explored with proper scientific method. I don't take the word of internet influencers. I read the papers from real scientific studies. Often the statistics in medical studies are not done well and because of my job I happen to know statistical methods well and can usually see the flaws in the studies. Berberine seems to be pretty safe and has a well documented and studied effect on plaque and some plausible mechanistic explanation of why it works like that although there are probably a number of other biochemical interactions going on. Before starting, I got a scan showing I had moderate plaque, better than is expected for my age, but now I have a baseline and in a few months I will get another scan and if it improved, great. If not, then I will stop taking it since it was ineffective for me.
