I had a tibial plateau fracture with compartment syndrome. It took 3 surgeries and 2 weeks in the hosp. When released it took 6 months to get to a cane. Now 1 1/2 years later i still cannot bend my knee. My leg swells in 3 hrs and locks up. Can scar tissue prevent me from bending my leg? I can bend about 70degrees first thing in the morning . I havent had therapy except after surgery. This is because i am poor and cant miss anymore work for therapy. I almost lost my house and went 6 months with no water. I am getting better financially so i will be able to go to therapy in a couple weeks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Put a screw in the pad of my finger and after it healed completely I had a puffed up, highly sensitive scar in the worst of places compromising my grip strength in my left hand. (I can hold my weight up for 20-30 seconds right hand only but can’t even take my feet off the ground left handed from the pain in my finger) Using Doctor Jo’s method for about 1-1/2 months I can now barely feel the scar at all and it’s completely invisible to the eye! @@rosagroen2964 my surgery was on September. I am on my 6th month and even though my hand is way better, still is not 100%. If I just knew this, believe me I wouldn't do it. I'd rather keep my ganglion cyst but I also know everyone is different. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't the best. Hope you feel better soon

It was a 4 minute miracle. I was in so much pain last night that I did a search and found this video. Dr. Jo said it’s best with cream and the cream was on my nightstand. By the end of the video I was done. She said you could do it up to three times a day so in the middle of the night, I put my hand on my leg to massage the scar again and it was gone. So, is the scar tissue! I have so much more mobility now and I am amazed at how easy it was. I have suffered for 4 years. When I told my doctor how it has been immobilizing me, she said the pain is probably coming from your low back. I said no it’s coming from the scar tissue on my leg. I've been told that there is possible tendon adhesion. I got cut and stitched on back of my palm, index finger (knuckle) and wound was already closed, however, i cannot bend my finger to the fullest like doing a fist and it is a bit swolen. Had my ultrasound this afternoon and i'm scared for the result as i don't want to get a surgery or cut again just to fix the possible tendon adhesion. I find ur video and so thankful that tjere is a hope , possible i can just lift the skin and massage the affected area. I,'m so afraid to touch it after the cut had been closed but after worrying that another surgery would happen, i tried moving it as mom told me to stretch and bend my finger and do exercises, and ur video of massage is so perfect. I got a diagonal laceration 3 months ago from the middle of my eyebrow down to the edge of my eyelid. So much scar tissue underneath still that my eye looks a bit swollen. It is more likely scar tissue depending on how much rehab you did for your tendonitis. Do you stretch your ankle/calf/achilles tendon?
I would check in with a doctor to make sure orthotics would help.

Stretches and exercises should help break it up. If not, it might be worth talking with your doctor about an injection that might help break it up.
