The last few videos are so pertinent to me, it's like you are inside my head!!! Thanks for the info. I told my physio about the massager for my chronic hamstring injury, but he said he had a tool instead that he could run on it, but he started with my back pain where he said I had a lot of scar tissue, after one treatment about 50% of my pain is gone. I'm a little afraid of him working on the hamstring, as it's very painful.

if you cant have someone to massages a great way is to get a tennis ball and place is on your upper traps and slowly roll it in circular motions. remember to breathe as this might be painful at first ( which shows how tight the muscle is) you want the body to be relax instead of being tight which defeats the purpose

I had my toe joint removed last year in may. my podiatrist told me to massage my scar morning and night with body lotion. he said it would soften the scar and stop scar tissue building up. I have had may ops and this was the first time I have heard this and it's worked

In your opinion, of course, do you it it would be okay if I used that massager on my TKR scars? Maybe with the soft (tennis ball type) head? I'm 5 1/2 months out and still having terrible knee pain (when I use them, but not when just sitting or standing). Thanks guys! You're the BEST! :) BTW, ROM is 0-140+, but getting up from a low seat or car is misery.

I had major back surgery almost a year ago a fusion on my L1, L4,and L5 also a artifical disc put in. Over the summer my equipment started giving me issues, I also can't even touch my lower back without extreme pain. They recently did tests and told me I had fluid like an abscesses in my lower back and fluid in my joints. My surgeon says it's due to scar tissue and I need it removed, any advice?

He’s suggested to go back in and cut my nerves so I don’t feel the pain. I will never get cut open again so he said maybe some numbing cream. Does anyone know if it works?

use lacrosse ball, its really dense and firm. you can use a golf ball which is great for those small hard to reach places, but beware the golf ball/ lacrosse ball will be intense at first until your body adapts to it.

I have deep scar tissue in my shoulder (several places) caused by working with the shoulder to soon after surgery. I had plenty of help making the mistake, though I balme myself for being naive about it... the surgeon was great with the actual procedure but lousy with the post surgery advice, and my place of work was full of confusion about whether I needed to get back to full-duty under their expectations or not.
The pain now is enough so I can not do any real working out, and I used to be strong and very athletic, so it's as depressing as it is painful.
The pain is in the deepest art of the arm pit, and the top of the biceps tendon. The original injury requiring surgery was extensive,
Any way I can remove some scar tissue? Before I get old I would like to be able to lift weights again and have a nice build one more time. From a guy who used to be able to do over 30 pull-ups in a set to now having trouble holding onto heavy groceries... please help.

I kept trying to push through it but it didn’t work so i rested it for 6 weeks and then it was all ok. I also went to a physio therapist and he gave me the ok. I still get some pain when i do curls and rotate my arm backwards. Any advice on how to get rid of it and strengthen it up?

@@joepowell9201 ua-cam.com/video/ZZzTabZ91BA/v-deo.html. We are releasing scar tissue adhesions that are limiting the fascia. IamnotadoctorandIamnotadvisingyou. This is how I perform my tissue release. It takes MANY sessions that each produce moderate amounts of inflammation and pain. 😅 I keep a small velcro ice pack in an ice chest and apply immediately upon completion of self-massage.
Arm training day: I train biceps last, end with a reasonable number of sets and reps of the limited biceps motion, then, right now, while area is warm/hot, I immediately incorporate myofascial release techniques. Then, I ice til inflammation and pain subside. After I am fully recovered, no soreness, I repeat. My injured areas improve a bit each session. And, sometimes an adhesion recurs. I just tackle it again.
