Men who abuse women do NOT invite her friends and family to move into the same building. When I was watching the trial I honed in on all of Amber's friends who said Johnny was the one who invited them to move in. I knew instantly that he was not likely to be an abuser if he was inviting her sister and her friends to move in. That testimony helped Johnny tremendously

Yeah, quite bizarre and obvious Johnny has been used over and over as Amber seems to get anything from Johnny she wants so she is NOT A VICTIM BUT AN ABUSER CLEARLY TO JOHNNY!! Best friends for 13 years. Living next door. Rocky would have known everything about Amber and been super super close.
It’s inconceivable that Amber wouldn’t have told her about the extreme physical abuse.
It’s even more inconceivable that if she did, Rocky would have left her in that situation. Because if that was my best friend, supposedly getting half beaten to death by her husband, I’d have called the cops and taken my friend far away from him, by force if I had to.
I mean these people are so ridiculous.
Her logic is like: my best friend’s husband broke her nose badly but I never thought about taking her to the hospital because I want to live a 5 star hotel lifestyle with everything paid by him. Raquel, do you know how terrible of a person you look going along with this hoax? These people are pathetic.

They are ridiculous, but real abuse is never that simple. I took my friend away from her abusive boyfriend, I forced her to stay with me and told her she had to get away. She left my house in the middle of the night and went back to him. She made it clear she would never forgive me if I called the cops. It is not as simple as it sounds, and I would believe it’s even worse for public figures. She DID refuse to celebrate Christmas (according to messages) with Johnny because she didn’t approve of his behaviour. I believe Amber TOLD her she was abused and she believed her. In her defence, if you believe your friend is abused and you leave next door, the last thing you would do is leave your friend and move. I believe she believed Amber was abused and then agreed to lie on Ambers behalf to frame him and having free rent was a cherry on top
It's totally conceivable that, sometimes inconceivable things do happen to become conceivable. 😁 Sherlock Holmes goes something like - when you have excluded the impossible, the inconceivable must be the truth no matter how improbable
So interesting that she only sold her beads for 3 months and lived rent free + all utilities?bills for a little over 2 years and is now a yoga instructor. Yet, she has a net worth of 1.5 Million Dollars and only in her mid thirties. Not only that but her ex husband and other freeloader Josh D. Is also worth a cool 1 Million Dollars in his mid thirties. In fact all those who were around to “comfort/Help poor Amber’ during the phone “incident “ are all worth at least 1 Million Dollars while only in their mid thirties. Unbelievable that not one of these folks has ever worked in a professional setting yet they are already nearly set for retirement. So hoping Brian and Jax will do some deep diving regarding this highly unusual situation. My husband and I are headed for retirement and both worked as professionals and neither had million dollars when only in our mid thirties- it’s just not possible when you are barely working as all of them were. Something is off; big time and really hope it’s investigated properly. Just my opinion.

The only thing they have worth $1 million is information.... Maybe the ones who sold information to TMZ? Tipped off the paps? They made their $$$ by selling information unless they embezzled money from him somehow. In my opinion... I also believe JD could have realized the benefit of having Amber's friends as neighbors. He spent quite a bit of time away. I'm sure it was easier for him that she had a companion nearby as "clingy" as she was.
I wonder if they were given generous 'gifts' from a female friend with whom they were 'friends' ?

Perjury isn’t punished. In this trial that became very clear. If you’re a witness you can lie and lie and it doesn’t matter. It’s great for whitney and rocky

The attorney for Johnny who is asking all these questions phenomenal. She has an incredibly disarming voice and even when she’s packing a punch, she makes it sound so nice.
Oh man. Her voice makes me nervous. She is like beautiful lioness. By the time you realize how dangerous she is, it's all over. I grew up in Texas and that is how we learned to deal with people. Always pleasant and even more so with an adversary.

I watched every moment of the trial & am truly over Amber's fake victim act and her friends lying as well, changing their stories (cough cough), and then pretend they had a brain fart.
It's interesting how Rocky's mannerisms are very similar to Amber's.
Peter , Did you see the email IO sent to Amber about the Coachella trip? He ripped Rocky up one side and down the other about how mean, rude and hateful she was. Amber the Saint tells IO about what a bad trip she was having and was worried she would have to go to the hospital. Amber denied all this on the stand, of course and said Starling Jenkins must have confused her with her sister, who had morning sickness. 🙄 So many lies, what a terrible group.
The whole scene is disgusting. The man just had a meeting on how to fix the embezzlement and no -filing & payment of taxes = 700+ million.
Depp paid for everything! Even housekeeping! I cannot imagine how hurt he was by these Freeloaders.
So, they made room for Johnny when he arrived. If he was expected at the beginning of the dinner, why was a place not set for him at the table?
Why call out his absence by leaving a gaping hole next to the bday girl?

She kept that info to herself so she could make Johnny look bad for missing the “special girl’s “ 30th birthday dinner. No one even knew he was keeping Amber up to date on meeting status thru texting. Unless Rocky is lying my understanding is Amber didn’t tell anyone. Her way to get more sympathy I’m sure. She’s so evil.

It's amazing how little she remembers about the stories everyone told about her best friend just under 2 months prior to this deposition. I might take a minute to remember who told what, but I'd have general broad strokes of what stories were told about someone I cared about on their big day so soon after it happened. It's really interesting that Amber was the one that seemed upset while Johnny seemed fine, and when she last saw them for the night, Amber was happy holding his hand. Far cry from the tension filled evening and almost immediate fighting that Amber later described.

Just because you have a key which opens a lock doesn't mean you have *permission* to open that lock at any time - or even at all.
Confused how all of these 5 separate so-called penthouses had connecting doors! Was it always set up and sold as such? And one master key, allowing any and all to come and go as they please? Whose idea was that? AH's? No privacy!😟😩
@@sandtats PH 3,4,5 connect on their upper floor. PH 1 is on the opposite side of the corridor, and PH 2 adjacent to PH3 on the short side of the 'L' is self-contained.

Them calling a break after 15 minutes I think was because Rocky's attorney felt and didn't like where the question was going regarding her living and having all access to all penthouses!
It's so refreshing that the insufferable nightmare of an attorney who couldn't shut up in Amber's depo at this timeis absent here...interesting to actually watch a deposition where the witness can actually talk without interruption and give there testimony without constant nonsensical, whining and interruptions...

Johnny was asked by Amber if her best friend could live in one of the ph. The other one was suppose to be for Johnny's sister, Christi but Amber invited Whitney instead.
Rocky gets a little smirk or smug sort of look when she has what I think are prepared for answers. It's interesting to watch her expressions change.

I just wanted to add since we’ve also went over Amber’s depo: I remember her lawyer made such a BIG DEAL about the alcohol/drug questions at the beginning of the depo and Rocky was asked the same questions and answered them without any bother. I just thought it was funny haha

I’m still watching this and writing a comment while watching and Rocky is so annoying! She’s living in JDs apartment rent free for 2 years and she invites him to the birthday party then she’s cordial towards him because Amber is mad he’s late to her birthday. And I don’t believe she wasn’t livid he was late. Amber later hit Rocky when they were living together because of a plate. The woman just thinks it’s ok to hit people for no real reason.

An abusive and controlling man doesn't typically just say, "I don't want this person around me." (IO Tillet) They typically would say, "I don't want this person in my home, around my wife, talking to my wife, etc." I don't buy the controlling abusive crap at all. Abusive men isolate their victims away from their friends, family, etc. JD did none of that, it seems.
